2. 抓住广告的标题如果广告有标题，大标题下又有小标题，那么，快速寻找原文信息时，这些标题就成了很重要的线索，可以帮助我们快速准确地找到答案。
有些题目考查的就是对广告标题的理解。
3. 逐项比较，得出最佳做阅读理解题，切不可凭主观印象，想当然地确定答案。
任何一道题目，均可以在原文中找到相关线索，这就如同破译密码一样。
做题人的思维过程和编题人的思维过程恰好相反，编题人先找好线索，然后设计问题和选项，解题人根据问题，再去文中找相关线索。
因此，我们做题时要逐项比较，排除错误选项，得出最佳答案。

常春藤大学校长：如果按照考试成绩录取
80%都是亚裔
上个月，一张哥伦比亚大学统计学硕士毕业名单在网络上走红，在这份名单中，80%以
上的名字为汉语拼音，看起来像中文名字。网友直呼中国学霸承包了哥大统计专业。这一结
果后来得到了哥大统计学学生的证实：该院专业共有200多人，其中中国学生占到了190
多人。常春藤名校中国学生众多已不是什么秘密。早在2013年，来自多伦多国际贵族高中-
加拿大杜克学院（Duke Academy）的一位数学教师就发现：来自亚裔国家的学生报名申请
书，要远远多于其他国家。“这些学生的成绩真的太优秀了！”这位在杜克已经工作了4年的
教师说，“有些人的成绩好得让人难以拒绝，不过，幸好我们不是按照成绩录取学生的！”
亚裔学生偏爱常春藤名校
早前，据《波士顿环球报》报导，美国华裔一直有名校情结，所以对于美国众多亚裔高
中生来说，申请大学充满压力。而亚裔感到在申请名校中处于不利地位，多个亚裔团体集体
状告哈佛大学对亚裔学生不公平设限，成为美国近期的主流话题。同时，亚裔对名校的热衷，
也催生了美国帮助申请名校的顾问公司。这些顾问公司在指导亚裔学生申请名校时，告诉他
们尽量淡化“亚裔形象”，以增加进名校的机率。
一位曾经亲向维吉尼亚大学校长请教有关亚裔学生入学设限的问题，得到的回答是，“如
果照成绩排名收录学生，学校可能80%的学生都是亚裔。这样，对全美人口占95%的非亚
裔公平吗？”这个问题令人深思。曼哈顿一家公司Ivy Coach帮助学生申请名校，该公司的
Brian Taylor 是常春藤名校申请导师，他表示，公司很多客户是亚裔美国人，自己则指导他
们如何顺利申请美国名校。他对亚裔客户提供的建议和策略是：申请名校时，要少一些亚裔
味道（less Asian）。 泰勒表示，一个勤奋努力、拥有较高理想的亚裔学生在申请大学时，想
显得不那么亚洲味道，似乎有悖常理。但根据亚裔人口在美国的比例，亚裔申请学校受到配
额数量的限制，已经使得一些亚裔学生无法就读自己选择的学校，这就是问题所在。
华裔优异生被大部份常春藤名校拒絶
有人称这种种族配额现象为“竹子天花板”，使得亚裔学生虽然具有优秀的SAT分数和
平均成绩，但因为种族配额限制，和包括白人学生在内的其他族裔学生相比，很多优异生无
法就读顶级大学。为了对抗这种现象，在今年美国大学发放录取通知书之际，60多个亚裔
团体向美国联邦政府提出申诉，指责哈佛大学在入学申请过程中歧视亚裔，并要求联邦政府
介入调查。去年11月，非盈利的“公平录取学生组织”代表多名亚裔学生也曾对哈佛大学
和北卡罗来纳大学教堂山分校提出联邦诉讼，指责它们对亚裔设下较高的入学门槛。 据《商
业内幕》报导，华裔学生迈克王（Michael Wang）的SAT成绩是2230分，他也参加了全国
演讲辩论比赛、数学竞赛，会弹钢琴，并曾登台演奏钢琴。2013年，他申请了所有常春藤
名校以及史丹佛大学，最终除宾州大学外，其它所有学校拒絶了他的申请。
虽然面临种族配额的限制，一些华裔家庭并不会放弃孩子进名校的希望，他们积极帮助
自己的孩子就读名校。《波士顿环球报》报导说，詹姆斯陈（James Chen）20年前在加州成
立了Consulting公司，旨在帮助亚裔学生申请名校。陈先生表示，美国大学招生人员看到很
多类似的申请学生，大多是成绩好、素质高、会多种乐器，但在体育运动方面比较欠缺。当
有刚入读高中的学生来公司寻求指导时，陈先生会引导学生把在某个乐器上的兴趣，转到一
项体育运动上。针对学生在申请大学时向大学提供的大学论文，陈先生建议亚裔学生不要写
自己的移民家庭，他告诉学生：“不要谈论你的家庭来自越南，怀揣2美元、坐着摇晃的小
船、躲避鲨鱼、来到美国的经历。” 家在纽约的一名高中女生，这名女生SAT成绩优异，
是毕业生代表、班长和羽毛球队队长。女生的父亲告诉《波士顿环球报》说，他和妻子从中
国移民来美，女儿在美国出生。因为听说亚裔美国人不容易申请大学。这名女生在简历中淡
化了亚裔味道。女生弹钢琴，她参加音乐剧。羽毛球对申请大学没有用处，因为太多的亚裔
学生打羽毛球，也不要强调在亚裔学生社团的角色。他还建议这名女生，不要说自己对生物
学有兴趣，或想成为一名医生。最后，这名女生被哈佛录取。
泰勒的建议和陈先生类似。泰勒告诉学生，不要强调自己是勤奋刻苦的学生，因为“学
校不喜欢太在意成绩的学生，而喜欢爱学习的学生”。
申请顶级学校的优秀亚裔生大增
研究数据显示，在过去的10年，申请顶级学校、成绩优异的亚裔学生人数大增。亚裔
家庭收入高，拥有最好的教育，是全国增长最快的群体。在普林斯顿2013届学生中，21%
是亚裔美国人，哈佛大学这一数据是20%。但是，在诉讼中提出的一点是，仍有很多优秀
的亚裔学生无法就读顶级大学。美国民权委员会的Karen Narasaki和Michael Yaki认为，任
何种族或族群应受到配额限制。“我们也不认为，单凭考试成绩就可入读哈佛。” 针对亚裔
联盟发出的指控，哈佛大学回应称，哈佛的招生政策“完全符合法律”，录取标准除了学术
成绩，也包括学生的课外活动表现以及领导能力。哈佛在录取美籍亚裔学生方面一向保持良
好记录，这10年内美籍亚裔在其本科新生所占比率从低于18%增至21%。
这也给想入读常春藤名校的中国学生敲响了警钟：除了考试成绩之外，户外活动和体育
运动成绩在录取决定中扮演重要角色。“让我们印象深刻的学生，并不是他的考试成绩。我
们更希望看到那些展示冒险精神、团队合作以及他们创意的学生。可惜，这样的中国学生太
少了。”这位杜克学院的数学教师感叹道。
