本学期英语教研组工作能以学校总体教学工作为依据，以提高教研质量和教学质量为目标，增强教师的学习意识、服务意识、教科研意识、质量意识、合作意识，充分发挥业务职能的作用，以更新教育教学观念为先导，以课堂教学为重点，以培养学生的创新精神和实践能力为重点，全面提高我校英语教研组教研工作水平。
一、强化观念更新，提高英语学习氛围在课程改革的大环境下，新英语课程标对英语学科的发展提出了新的要求，我们教师要不断更新教学观念和知识结构，提高自身的综合素质，符合时代潮流的发展要求。
在教学中，我们每位教师都努力做到“三创新”创新课堂教学设计，以学生的发展为本;创新教学方法，真正提高40分钟课堂教学效率;创新教学手段提高英语学习的趣味性。
二、狠抓教学常规落实，深化教育教学改革
1、进一步抓好了教学常规的学习和实施工作，组织本教研组教师学习常规，学习校内外先进典型，加强检查督促，使学习常规，实施常规成为全体教师的自觉行动。
2、加强了集体备课。
集体备课是发挥群体优势，提高备课质量的重要途径，也是落实教学常规，提高课堂教学效率的必要措施。
