本课为pep五年级下册unit 2 a let’s learn。
本单元的话题是季节与天气，教学内容和学生的生活联系密切。
本单元的第一课时，要求学生听、说、读、写五个单词：season, spring, summer, fall, winter，并能用“what’s your favourite season?”这个句型问答最喜欢哪个季节。
本单元在内容上与四年级下册第四单元有相同之处，描述天气情况的形容词如cool, cold, rainy, windy, snowy, cloudy, sunny等单词都已经出现过，学生对熟悉的知识内容有很强的展现欲。

2. 能够使用句型“what’s your favourite season?”提问，并能够根据实际情况回答。

三、说教法1. 教法设计本节课中，我针对儿童好动、好胜、好新、好奇、思维活跃，集中注意持久性较差等特点，在教学过程中注意创设各种游戏活动和竞赛活动，给学生创设一个轻松愉快的语言学习氛围，让学习过程充满乐趣并同时使他们感受到一定的挑战，满足他们的竞争意识和成功感，从而使他们达到积极思维，创造潜能得以开发。
另外，课中还让学生来代替教师的角色，真正实现师生角色的互换，缩短了师生的情感距离，以达到良好的教学效果。

因此，本课的教学将综合以上情况进行学习和操练，以达到掌握知识、运用知识的目的。
3、说教学目标与重难点《小学英语新课程标准》指出：基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是以学生的语言知识、语言技能、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础，培养学生语言综合运用能力。
基于以上认识和对教材的分析，我将本课教学目标确定为以下三维目标：①知识与技能目标：能够听、说、读、写单词season、spring、summer、autumn、winter；能够使用句型What’s your favourite season?进行交际会话。
②过程与方法目标：培养学生良好的英语学习策略和综合运用语言的能力，为学生的终身学习奠定基础。
