一、听力听力文本1～9题以简单句为主，无生难词，独白短小精悍，条理清晰，没有长难句。
能力考查主要是考查考生对所听内容获取事实性的具体信息、做出简单推断，理解主旨大意等。
其中，可以直接听到具体信息的细节题占60%，所占比例仅比2012年小，而比往年高。
与往年相比，2016年听力难度系数为0.53,是近五年来难度最小的一年。
部分试题突出语境作用，考查说话者的言外之意。
如第16题，说话者Dorothy尽管使用了no way, never等否定词，但实际上她对这套公寓很满意。
另外，从统计数字中可以看出，信息是否直接呈现关系不大与得分高低的关系不大，如第1、14、18题的信息都是直接呈现，平均分都超过一分，而第5、19题，信息也是直接呈现，却是听力中平均分最低的两题（第5题：0.41分，第19题：0.36分）。
