UNIT SIX HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEARLesson 23指导思想与理论依据《义务教育英语课程标准》（2011年版）指出，义务教育阶段英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素养和发展学生思维能力的任务，即学生通过英语课程掌握基本的英语语言知识，发展基本的英语听、说、读、写技能，初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力，进一步促进思维能力的发展，为今后继续学习英语和用英语学习其他相关科学文化知识奠定基础。
国内外许多语言学家认为，大量的课外阅读有助于提高阅读能力，增加词汇量，还有助于其他语言能力的提高。
阅读量不足会限制说和写的能力的发展。
英语的听说读写能力是一个相互联系的有机体，听说能力的提高是以一定的阅读能力为前提条件的。
《课程标准》还指出：对于小学低年级的学生，教师更应注意使用丰富多样的教学资源，使教学内容、形式与过程更为直观、生动、形象，以适应儿童的认知特点。
据此，教师根据本课内容，补充了教师自己改编的小故事以及攀登英语字母绘本、Phonics Kids 小歌谣，为学生在生动、形象的故事中进一步理解所学语言、感知发音。
教学背景分析1．教学内容（1）教材板块分析本课为北京版小学英语一年级上册第六单元第23课第二课时。
包含以下内容：Point and say: 看图认读单词 a bed; a pen; Helen，感知字母E的发音特点。
Let’s say:韵文朗读，结合本课单词，感知英语韵律。
补充语音动画：The chant of letter “E”（2）教材处理调整及原因在本课中，我选用了Phonics kids中的一段语音动画作为拓展内容，这个小歌谣所呈现的结构与本课时中Let’s say 内容一致，并且有很强的韵律感，能够帮助学生感知语音。
2．学生情况分析（1）学生能力分析：班中共计28名学生，大部分学生思维灵活，学习能力较强。
本课中涉及到的Helen 、a bed、a pen学生没有接触过。
