教具准备
图片、卡片、录音机或教学光盘。

教学过程
Step 1 Revision
1.教师询问学生“What are your Christmas presents?”,收到回答后,询问“Do you like…”。

2.教师出示春节的图片说:“Christmas is gone. The Spring Festival is also coming.”
3.教学the Spring Festival和Chinese New Year。

Step 2 Presentation
(一)对话导入课文
教师通过提出一些问题引出课文内容,如:
1. Do you like the Spring Festival? 让学生回答Yes,I do./No, I don’t.
2. How do you spend the Spring Festival? 教师板书该句子,并教学spend和该句型。

3. How do Hu Ping and Julia spend the Spring Festival? Let’s watch the video.
(二)单词和词组教学
1.教师出示做年糕的图片,教学词组make rice cakes,并板书。

2.教师出示包饺子的图片,教学单词dumpling,dumplings以及词组make dumplings,并板书。

3.教师出示一家人在享受家宴的图片,教学单词family和词组have a family dinner,并
板书。

(三)句型教学
1.教师再次播放课文录音,然后领读黑板上的句子:How do you spend the Spring Festival? 在黑板上的三个词组前加上We,操练句子。

2.出示人称代词I,you,he和she 的单词卡片,进行巩固操练,注意第三人称单数动词的变化形式。

3.教师出示图片,向学生提问:“Do you make rice cakes? Do you make dumplings? Do you have a family dinner?”引导学生用Yes,I do./Yes,we do.或No.来回答。

4.将黑板上的单词We擦去,写上Do you,再在句子的末尾加上问号,采用不同方式操练该句型及其答语。

5.巩固练习。

完成课本第58页的Ask and answer.部分,进行教师与学生、学生与学生间的问答操练。

(四)课文教学
1.请学生翻开课本第57页,教师播放课文录音,学生模仿跟读。

2.让学生个别朗读,并纠正其出错的地方。

3.完成课本第61页的Learn to write.部分。

(五)语音教学
1.复习字母组合ay,ai在单词中的读音。

2.学习字母组合th在单词中的读音。

(1)教师出示单词卡片mouth,three,thirty和birthday,请学生读单词。

(2)教师播放课本第58页的Listen and learn the English sounds.部分,请学生认真听,并找出th的发音规律
(3)教师在黑板上写上thank,mouth,three等单词,并让学生尝试用总结的规则来读出。

Step 3 Homework
1.听课文录音,模仿并熟读课文。

2.完成《活动手册》中本课的练习。
