名著《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感3篇名著《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感1Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy. The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a house near the Bennet. In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcys first pride that she refused Darcys first proposal. Darcy was so surprised by Elisabeths refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply. And Elisabeths antipathy(厌恶,憎恨)made Darcy realize his shortings. He was not angry about Elisabeths censure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude. During Elisabeths travel in Darcys manor(庄园). Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, different from previous proud attitude. When one of Elisabeths sisters ran away with Wickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from the loss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet. So many changes in Darcy eliminated(消除)Elisabeths prejudice. At last it end with their marriage.Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life and love in a conservative你(保守派)and blocking England town. It reflected the authors view about marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and it is also foolish to take these elements into account. In fact Darcys pride manifested(证明)the gap (间隙,差距)between their statuses(地位). Since his pride existed, there is no ideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy. From the different attitudes from Darcys two proposals, it reflected the feminine(女性)pursuit of personality independence and right equality, which is a progressive(先进的)character from the image of Elisabeth.名著《傲慢与偏见》英语读后感2Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a long time. But as their lives become intertwined in an unexpected adventure, she finds herself captivated by the very person she swore to loathe for all eternity. 傲慢与偏见英文读后感精彩7篇傲慢与偏见英文版读后感篇一傲慢与偏见英文版读后感It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. Mrs. Bonnet had no other wish if her five daughters could get married as soon as possible with someone wealthy. At a dancing ball, it is obvious that Mr. Bingley could not help falling in love at the first sight with Miss Jane because of her stunning beauty. Mrs. Benne was so excited that she could not hold her manner and declared publicly she would have a daughter married soon, which frightened Mr. Bingley away. Mr. Collins, a distance nephew of Mr. Bennet, came to ask a marriage to one of his cousins before Mrs. Bennet was able to get clear why Mr. Bingley left suddenly. After receiving the hint from Mrs. Bennet that Jane already had an admirer, Mr. Collins turned to Elizabeth without wasting a minute and to Miss Charlotte Lucas two days later after refused by Elizabeth. It was difficult for Mrs. Bennet to recover herself as a result of the“deadly stupid” decision made by Elizabeth until she got the news that Lydia finally married Mr. Wickham, though the marriage was built on the basis of ten thousand pounds. Mr. Darcy offered the money and did everything departing from his will just because he loved Elizabeth so much. ()He could not hide his feelings any more and showed his affection to Elizabeth at last, who, because of a series of misunderstandings towards him, rejected him without hesitation. This plot is the climax of the novel as the prejudice of Elizabeth to Mr. Darcy was exposed and removed since then. And the bination of the two young couples, Jane and Bingley, Elizabeth and Darcy came at last.傲慢与偏见英文读后感篇二the novel opens with the famous line, "it is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife."。

傲慢与偏见英文读后感(优秀8篇)《傲慢与偏见》英文读后感篇一Body:As we all know, if you know something about the authors background, you will appreciate the book on a profounder and better level. The book first published in 1813, as Jane Austen’s second novel, she started it 1796 as her first persevering effort for publication. She finished the original manuscript by 1797 in Steventon, Hampshire, where she lived with her parents and siblings in the town rectory. Austen originally called the story First Impressions, but it was never published under that title; instead, she made extensive revisions to the manuscript, then retitled and eventually published it as Pride and Prejudice. Austen in this novel was full of wit and humor reflected the late eighteenth Century, early nineteenth Century British country customs and living ways of the world, to give the art of imagination.(writing background) The book is mainly to tell the four couples’ marriages in eighteenth Century. One of the most important is naturally occurred between actress Elizabeth Bennet and actor Fitzwilliam Darcy about their hate and love. Elizabeth is a courageous, beautiful, smart, sturdy and lovable middle-class woman who pursues true love ignoring money and power. The story develops mainly relies on Elizabeth and Darcy, from the beginning of aversion to respect then love. Also, alternates in stories happen around Elizabeth’s happy or unhappy marriages to reveal the author’s hope living in true love at that era. The heroine Elizabeth first saw the male protagonist Darcy is not pleasing to her ey es, plus Darcy’s pride character causes Elizabeth to have prejudice against him. Darcy is unpopular arrogant man, even in the surrounding filled up cold relationship. For him, pride may be rational, however; prejudice may be heartless, both of which impact is unavoidable. Between two people there are often quarries and misunderstandingsconcerning Darcy’s pride and Elizabeth’s prejudice at the start. But after the events of clarification, they develop a little affection gradually. Darcy represents the “pride”,Elizabeth represents “prejudice”。

prideandprejudice傲慢与偏见读后感(推荐五篇)

prideandprejudice傲慢与偏见读后感(推荐五篇)第一篇:pride and prejudice傲慢与偏见读后感Book Report onPride and PrejudiceThe author of Pride and Prejudice is Jane Austen. She was an English novelist whose works of romantic fiction, set among the landed gentry, earned her a place as one of the most widely read writers in English literature. She was born into a Middle-class family and her father was a rector.Although she was not formally educated, she received a broader education than most women of that time.As a novelist, she was apt at describing marriage life, able to skillfully use irony, and created lots of unique female characters with independent thought and personalities.Although she never got married throughout her life, she was yearning for a marriage based on true live.Once she told to her niece:“Not to think of accepting him unless you really do like him.Anything is to be preferred or endured rather than marrying without affection”.The themes of Jane Austen’s works are always love, Pride and Prejudice is no exception.Love seems to be a perpetual theme of literature all over the world. But actually what is love? For most girls in their 20s, love is what they eagerly look forward to and yearn for. They chase love bravely no matter what difficulties they may be faced with. They assume that love is pure or even holy, perhaps it is just quite the other way around. In real life, it is disputable that love is always bound up with many other factors, such as property and social status.People tend to find a balance between love and property.Pride and Prejudice is one of the representative works of Jane Austen. It is also an essential classic of world literature.I still remember the first sentence of the book “It is u niversally acknowledged that a single man inpossession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.”Which indicates that marriage at that time is based more on possession than on emotion. In this book, the writer represented the love stories between several young men and young girls who were from different social status.Through the discussion of the different marriages and love, the writer demonstrated her concept about love and marriage: love and marriage was closely associated with property and position, however, love and marriage could not only be decided by the property and social status. An ideal marriage should be based on mutual affection, respect and the same interest. She objected to mercenary marriages and the attitude of regarding marriage as trifling things. The story took place in the class-conscious England of the late 18th century. The five Bennet sisters: including Jane, who was simple, innocent and never speaks evil of others;Elizabeth, a clever and strong-willed girl, who bid defiance to the marriage without love;Mary, reading books all day round, who was actually a pedant;besides, shallow-pated Kitty and Lidia, who followed exotic things, handsome men. Also, their father, Mr.Bennet being a wise and witty gentleman;while their mother, Mrs.Bennet was permanently distracted by the issue of marrying off her daughters at any cost.In Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen actually showed us several different views on love and marriage by depicting five marriages in her rational and humorous writing tone.Firstly, Jane and Bingley, who were considered as the happiest couple.Their marriage was out of aesthetic love which met people's expectation best.Mr.Bingley, who was good looking and gentlemanlike, with a pleasant countenance and easy, unaffected manners, was the one every woman wanted to make themselves acquainted with. But he fell in love with Jane at a ballat the first sight.Although the sister of Bingley strongly opposed to their marriage because of the distinct difference between their family background and social status, they finally overcame difficulties and made it.On the contrary, there was also mercenary marriage based on pecuniary benefit rather than true love in this book.Charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth, who thought herself neither a beautiful nor a rich girl, chose to marry stupid and shallow Collins out of economic considerations. In her mind, if there was no love, living a rich life was the best choice, which was an authentic depiction for the majority people at that time.Besides, there were other miserable marriages in this book.Elizabeth's sister, Lydia, as well as her father's marriage, was unfortunate.Lydia, being confused by the beauty of appearance, while ignoring the moral character, became fascinate with Wickham, who was vile and rotten deep in his heart out of temporary impulse, and finally eloped with Wickham.Mr.Bennet's marriage was also a miserable one, it is incredible that they got married and lived together so many years without love. Then came to Mr.Darcy and Elizabeth, who were the hero and heroine in this book.Their story also explained why this book was called pride and prejudice.Mr.Darcy, a single proud man of a large fortune, was soon drew the attention of the room by his fine, tall person, handsome features and noble mien when he accompanied Bingley to the ball.Although many girls wanted to acquainted themselves with Mr.Darcy, his arrogance and apathy made them keep away.Elizabeth had seen it all and as anyone else believed he was haughty and stubborn, thus grew disgust and prejudice toward him.Although Mr.Darcy didn't have a crush on Elizabeth at the first sight, he gradually found himself fall in love with her for her wisdom and straightforward manner. But outof his pride, the more he loved Elizabeth, the least he would show on the surface instead of making apathy, which made Elizabeth prejudiced against Darcy deeper and deeper. As Darcy more loved Elizabeth, he finally was unable to restrain to show his love to Elizabeth. As Darcy said:"In vain have I struggled. It will not do.My feelings will not be repressed. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you.”However, to his surprise, his showing of true feelings which he had struggled for a long time met with Elizabeth's firm refusal. His arrogance had suffered a blow. But from then on, Mr.Darcy began to reflect on the self-examination and treated people with more populist, and they began to candid exchange. After a long-term observation of his behaviors, Elizabeth's misunderstandings and prejudice toward Mr.Darcy gradually eliminated.Afterwards, inadvertently knowing that Darcy properly handled her sister Lydia and Wickham's elopement, Elizabeth's attitude changed.Darcy was not arrogant as others thought. Finally, regardless of his aunt's strong objection and concept of family, Darcy proposed to Elizabeth again.Elizabeth willingly consented.Through the five stories, we can actually grasp the truth of marriage: love.Marriage should be based on love, while it can’t have access to happiness when just based on money or appearance. And a deeper knowledge is needed when we start our affection.Just like in this book, Elizabeth stereotyped Mr.Darcy a very proud man who seemed to always feel superior on first impression. Thus she hated him and avoided him, which widened the chasm of misunderstanding. But after deep looking toward him, she finally overcame prejudice and accepted his proposal.Which indicates that in a relationship, only exclude vanity and prejudice, and think about each other’s moral character objectively, can we knoweach other better and more exact—only good moral character deserves real love.In our modern society, with the concept of “ money makes a mare to go” having rooted in many people’s mind, they are gradually accustomed to weighing everything they encounter;if they will benefit from it, how to achieve maximum benefits, including love. Thus, Being engagedto someone from a rich and powerful family becomesmany women’s dream. They would rather lead to an ensured but dull marriage life.As far as I am concerned, I am firmly convinced that marriage without love is unimaginable;those who are willing to give up pursuing love for the sake of a life of abundance are foolish and hopeless.Besides, in reality, we can’t simply judge one by appearance or first impression.Glossy and gentle though someone appears to be, underneath that façade hides a nasty and rotten mind, just like Mr.Wickham in this book;also, a seemed proud and pretentious man may be possess a tender and virtuous personality, just like Mr.Darcy.Thus we must get along with a person and insight into him or her, only in this way won’ t we miss the one and the true love due to some unlocked misunderstandings or prejudice. All in all, we must be for love alignment in the face of marriage;and we must be subject to moral character in the face of love;and we must be objective and fair in the face of judging the moral character.第二篇:傲慢与偏见读后感[模版]《傲慢与偏见》读后感摘要:简〃奥斯汀的作品《傲慢与偏见》中围绕班奈特家五个女儿待嫁为中心,进而展开的一段四队情侣的爱情故事。

Jane Austen’s novels were witty, warm and ironic portraits of the privileged classes of 18th- and 19th-century England. It is universally acknowledged that the eternal theme of Jane Austen’s novels is the choice people make for marriage partners, so is in Pride and Prejudice. The chief business of Mrs. Bennet’s life was to find suitable husbands for her five daughters. Once she heard that Netherfield Park had been let out to a London gentleman named Mr. Bingley. She was so eager to get acquainted with Mr. Bingley and marry one of her daughter with the wealthy young man. Through Mr. Bennet’s effort, the Bennet attended the ball held in Mr. Bingley’s house. Mr. Bingley and Jane, the oldest Bennet daughter, a pretty girl of sweet and gentle disposition, were attracted to each other at once. His friend, Darcy, however, created a bad impression, seeming cold and extremely proud. In particular, he insulted Elizabeth Bennet, a girl of spirit and intelligence and her father’s favorite. He refused to dance with her whenshe was sitting down for lack of a partner. To his own surprise, Mr. Darcy couldn’t help falling love with Elizabeth and tried to please that smart girl. However, because of the bad impression he had left on her, Elizabeth refused and sneered at Darcy many times. Elizabeth turned disgusted with Mr. Darcy. She met the new officer, Mr. Wickham, and convinced Darcy’s insult to him. Darcy, however, found himself deeply in love with Elizabeth, despite her family, which he even advised Bingley not to marry Jane. Mr. Collins arrived at Longhorn, tried to marry one of the Bennets’ girl as amender. As he was refused by Elizabeth, he married Charlotte Lucas. During Elizabeth’s visit to the Collins in Kent, she met Lady Catherine as well as her nephew, Darcy, frequently. To her astonishment, Darcy proposed to her. Because of his participation in driving Bingley away from her sister, his wicked way of treating Wickham, and her own hatred of his pride, his sense of superiority and his selfish disdain, she refused him angrily and determinately. However, after reading the letter from Darcy in which explained his idea of Bingley and Jane and the detailed relationship between him and Wickham, she knew she had misjudged both Darcy and Wickham. Her trip to Pemberley certainly proved her heart to Darcy as Darcy had changed his behavior as well. When shelearned that it was Darcy who played a major role in marrying her eloped little sister, Lydia, to Wickham, there was no doubt that she loved him. They two finally went together.Among those characters in this novel, I hate Mrs. Bennet for she was such a snobbish and foolish woman. Her poor nurse urged her to do something disgusting and foolish. Those seemed to help her loved daughters but in fact, all out of her own vanity. I like Elizabeth most. She was the second daughter in the Bennet family, and the most intelligent and quick-witted, Elizabeth is the protagonist of Pride and Prejudice and one of the most well-known female characters in English literature. Her admirable qualities are numerous—she is lovely, clever, and, in a novel defined by dialogue, she converses as brilliantly as anyone. Her honesty, virtue, and lively wit enable her to rise above the nonsense and bad behavior that pervade her class-bound and often spiteful society. Nevertheless, her sharp tongue and tendency to make hasty judgments often lead her astray; Pride and Prejudice is essentially the story of how she (and her true love, Darcy) overcome all obstacles—including their own personal failings—to find romantic happiness. Elizabeth must not only cope with a hopeless mother, a distant father, two badly behavedyounger siblings, and several snobbish, antagonizing females, she must also overcome her own mistaken impressions of Darcy, which initially led her to reject his proposals of marriage. Her charms were sufficient to keep him interested, fortunately, while she navigates familial and social turmoil. As she gradually came to recognize the nobility of Darcy’s character, she realized the error of her initial prejudice against him. She knew her own mind and dare to say no. While sometimes she behaved in an extreme way because of her over self-esteem. Owing to her sensitive mother, she had to protect herself from insulting. Actually, besides Elizabeth, I took a lot interest in Mr. Darcy since the very beginning though he appeared as a proud, self-important man. Instead, such good-looking gentleman like Mr. Bingley did not attract me very much. In some cases, a man with perfect character would always have a velvet paw. Wickham is a typical example that so many people had been deceived by his appearance. As I like both the two roles, I am happy to see them finally get married.Darcy’s proud is evident. His talks, his expressions, every movement of him seemed to show his pride. But as I turning over the novel, I found a rather proud heart in Elizabeth as well. For a country girl, there would not be a lot to be proud of.However, living in a family of silly sisters and a gossipy mother whose mind was always full of marriage, the smart girl could not express herself. Each word she said seemed to protect herself from others, especially to those who were also proud such as Darcy. It was not always good for her; however, for a person like Darcy who had accepted so many compliments, it was really an attraction. If Elizabeth had not been too proud to show her disdain, she would never have had his eyes on her. And if Darcy had not been as generous and kind as he was written to be virtually, he would have hated Elizabeth instead of being attracted so deeply. However, it was her pride which blinded her from learning the truth. She misunderstood Darcy and seemed to dislike all the things which were involved with him. That might si mply be the meaning of the word “Prejudice”. Elizabeth was intelligent, analyzing the character of Mr. Wickham and Darcy; she soon sensibly realized her mistake and made every attempt she could to save it. She never lost her confidence and courage to fight for her own happiness in spite of her low-birth. Darcy also gave up the chances to marry a noble girl such as Miss. Bingley and his cousin. In this way, even if their characters are so different, their marriage was based on the same mind.Of all the chapters of the novel, I am most interested in Elizabeth’s trip to Pemberley with her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner. This part itself is developed in a scene of the beauty of Pemberley. The main role, Elizabeth and the Gardiners are all intelligent people. Without the gossip of Mrs. Bennet and the noise of the 3 little sisters, the story goes on with great peace. Their meet with Darcy was both unexpected and expectable. It was unexpected because neither Elizabeth nor Darcy thought of meeting each other in such an agreeable situation. It was expectable because it was such an agreeable situation for them to meet each other again. It was their first meet after Darcy’s proposal. Darcy behaved unbelievably polite and their conversations with Georgiana, Darcy’s sister, went on naturally. It gave a sign that Elizabeth might have changed her hart and indeed, she did. Although the elopement of Lydia and Wickham seemed to disturb them, Darcy at last conquered his pride that he spent considerable time, effort and money on the 2 people he disdained. Another disturbance was Lady Catherine’s visit, but all of these seemed just to quicken their steps to marriage.Jane Austen must have been an idealist which most of the women writers could not avoid being. Charming roles are alwayscharming, disgusting roles are always disgusting. All the pride and prejudice are conquered. Everyone got they deserved to get. She showed us the human’s weakness, pride and prejudice through the novel. It is fragile of human nature which can be easily distorted simply by dissimilation, carelessness or even blindness. Upper-class status and advantages produce the Pride, while poverty and self-esteem against rich produce Prejudice.第四篇:Pride and Prejudice傲慢与偏见英文观后感Pride and PrejudiceAfter reading , I really have lots to complain about. I truly don’t like the people in this novel. But why? I don’t know. Maybe I just don’t understand the realistic society and life and people’s ideas at that time in England, or maybeI am just such a person that always has a prejudice against everybody. The main roles I want to talk about in this novel, of course, are Darcy and Elizabeth.First, I want to say something about Elizabeth. After hearing Darcy’s bad comment on her, she said the words “I will never dance with him” so easily and so unwisely. Here we can know she is arrogant and she can’t stand Darcy’s contempt. But we also can see that she said the words too easily and tooabsolutely without thinking. What a fool! Who can predict what’s going to happen next moment? None! Long after this matter, we all know that she did dance with Darcy. At that time she may already forget the words that she had said before. But I will never forget her arbitrariness That Elizabeth believed Wickham’s words makes me more dislike her. It’s a common sense that one couldn’t be a real good guy, if he can say hurtful things about someone else naturally and directly. But Elizabeth believed. Now that she hated Darcy or you can say she had a prejudice toward Darcy from the very start, she can totally ignore him. However she cared about it very much. Maybe she started to love Darcy the minute she began to have a prejudice towards him. But who knows, and even she herself did not know. Another scene that Darcy showed his love to Elizabeth makes me totally dislike her, especially the words she said that “you are the last man in the world I could ever marry”. She said such irresponsible and hurtful things without any consideration. Actually, she misunderstood everything. I just want to say she is a sad and hateful person. What’s worse, she’s also a gutless person. Finally, she knew Wickham cheated her and Darcy was innocent and Darcy was a perfect gentleman. She found that she had already fallen in love with Darcy deeply. However, she did nothing but wept and regretted. She even didn’t have the courage to express her love to Darcy. As a modern girl, if I was her, I would fly to Darcy to admit my misunderstanding and express my true feelings to him in no time. Happiness is gained by one’s own efforts. If you don’t pursue the happiness, it’s almost impossible to enjoy it. Now what could I say about Elizabeth? I don’t think she would have a happy ending if there is no Darcy. Next, let me talk about Darcy. In the beginning, I like this gentleman. I admire him. When he said that “she is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me, and I am in no humor at present to give consequence to young ladies who are slighted by other men”, I a dmire him very much. He was an arrogant man. And also he had the enough capital to be arrogant. Yes, he was handsome and wealthy. And then some time later, he asked Elizabeth to marry him, for he fell in love with her. Unfortunately, he was severely rejected by Elizabeth at once, but I still like him. He was a lovely man, right? At least, I think so. However, at the very last he showed his love to Elizabeth once again, regardless of the hurtful words that Elizabeth said before. It makes me disappointment. Where’s his pride? I love his pride all the time, but now it disappeared. If I was Darcy, after hearing Elizabeth’s hurtful word, I wouldnever meet her again and I would even forget her name at once. And eventually he was a poor man that had lost his pride. These are all my opinions about Elizabeth and Darcy. By the way, I really can’t understand why the girls were so crazy about officers and how come Darcy’s love to Elizabeth developed so suddenly. is a classic novel that reflect the social reality, so no one in this novel is perfect. The perfect person does not exist in the world. And it gives me the opportunity to nit-pick. As a whole, they were all kind people in the real society. Joycee第五篇:Pride and Prejudice傲慢与偏见英文观后感Pride and PrejudiceAfter reading , I really have lots to complain about. I truly don’t like the people in this novel. But why? I don’t know. Maybe I just don’t understand the realistic society and life and people’s ideas at that time in England, or maybe I am just such a person that always has a prejudice against everybody. The main roles I want to talk about in this novel, of course, are Darcy and Elizabeth.First, I want to say something about Elizabeth. After hearing Darcy’s bad comment on her, she said the words “I willnever dance with him” so easily and so unwisely. Here we can know she is arrogant and she can’t stand Darcy’s contempt. But we also can see that she said the words too easily and too absolutely without thinking. What a fool! Who can predict what’s going to happen next moment? None! Long after this matter, we all know that she did dance with Darcy. At that time she may already forget the words that she had said before. But I will never forget her arbitrarinessThat Elizabeth believed Wickham’s words makes me more dislike her. It’s a common sense that one couldn’t be a real good guy, if he can say hurtful things about someone else naturally and directly. But Elizabeth believed. Now that she hated Darcy or you can say she had a prejudice toward Darcy from the very start, she can totally ignore him. Howevershe cared about it very much. Maybe she started to love Darcy the minute she began to have a prejudice towards him. But who knows, and even she herself did not know.Another scene that Darcy showed his love to Elizabeth makes me totally dislike her, especially the words she said that “you are the last man i n the world I could ever marry”. She said such irresponsible and hurtful things without any consideration. Actually, she misunderstood everything. I justwant to say she is a sad and hateful person. What’s worse, she’s also a gutless person. Finally, she knew Wickham cheated her and Darcy was innocent and Darcy was a perfect gentleman. Pride and prejudice
This is one of my favorite books. I have read it for more than five times since grade six. It teaches me to love. Pride and prejudice, the ordinary two of human weakness, they pass through the entire novel. Because of property a position, Darcy is born with pride, which leads to the prejudice of Elizabeth. Bingley and Jane also have a romance full of ups and downs. But finally they get rid of their pride and prejudice and find their true love.
Youth and love are both the most easily missing things in the world. Sometimes we use all our youth to love one person. But in the end, there is only memory left. But the memory is also sweet and moving, isn’t it?
Every couple will always have a long way to go. During the process we don’t know whether the person is the right one to go with, but what we can do is recognizing our feeling inside, and clearing up the misunderstanding between us. Not every couple can find each other after several missing. So don’t try to find how lucky you are, just trust him or her, trust that the true love can survive all the tests, especially in our age, in the campus.
So if I have a boyfriend now, I will enjoy myself in the love, in this pure love with him. Kindling the passions, don’t think anything except love.
However, if you decide to get married, maybe it will several years later. Things will change. I have to say, it is true that there are some other factors besides love influence one’s marriage. The status, the possessions, his job are usually what our parents take into consideration. After all, the marriage is not only the combination of two persons, but also two families.
The concept of “Money determines everything”is still rooted in some people’s mind. Let us back to the book. Darcy and Elizabeth are in different classes. Supposing, if Elizabeth would have not her own idea, just like her sisters. Did Darcy still love her? The answer is no, of course no. They fall in
love because Elizabeth has personality which conducts her independent and intelligent, so that they can live a happy life. There is no Cinderella in our real life. If it has, the girl must be intelligent and have her own charm. This charm is not referring to the appearance but the spirit. Besides, Elizabeth loves Darcy. What she loved is just this man who is elegant and modest, not his money. For me, I prefer to make fortune together with my soul mate rather than get the money from him without work. So I need to work harder and harder to get the chance to meet my Mr. Right. And I do believe he will appear in front of me one day.
