一．基本情况：
本次考试满分150分，考试时间120分钟，试题紧扣教材，符合大纲要求，体现了新课程标准的方向，难度不是很大，这对英语教学和学生的学习起到了良好的导向作用。
二．各题型考查重点
1.阅读理解
本次试卷的阅读基本上难度不大，词汇均为考纲中所要求的重点，但是仍然要求学生仔细读题，认真查找文章中的关键语句，因为大多数题目都是细节题。只要学生们能做到耐心、专心、细心，基本上是不会出错的。除非那些平常不背单词，导致考试时连问题也读不懂的同学，拿分就比较困难了。
2.完形填空
本次考试中的完形填空也是和以往一样的记叙文题材，文章内容贴近生活，较容易理解。稍微有些困难的地方是对于主人公情感的理解，如果学生能很好地处理这一点的话就可以得心应手了。但仍然有不少学生失分较多，主要原因是不注意上下文的联系，往往靠主观臆断来做出选择，更有甚者，选项中的单词不认识，那就即便是能理解上下文也无济于事了。
3.语篇型语法填空
由于今年是新课改，这个新题型的难度不大，但要求学生的基础知识掌握的较好才行。主要考察动词的形式变化、形容词和副词、连词、代词、名词等。期中最重要的考察对象是动词。多数学生失分的原因是根本不知道怎么去变形，是用谓
2 语形式还是非谓语形式。这点有待于加强和巩固。
4.改错
所考察的知识点没有难度，但是究竟一句话中哪个词需要改是学生比较难突破的。只要给他们点出哪个地方有错，他们就能改对。说明学生们对于语法掌握的不够牢固，需要多练习。
5.书面表达
本次考试的失分较多的是书面表达，学生存在的问题是：句子结构不完整，中式英语还是比较普遍，作文中不能正确运用宾语从句，定语从句，强调句或倒装句等句型。写作满分是25分，得11分---15分的同学比较多。
