Unit 5 Wild animals reading 1摘要:英语课程标准为英语教学改革发展提供了良好的契机,同时我校开展的“121”教学模式也为教学提供了一个很好的平台。
本人在认识和理解新课程改革提出的新教育教学思想和新课程标准的基础上,总结近几年的初中英语新课程教学改革实践,就我校“121”教学模式,根据英语教学中如何让学生想学、会学、巧学,提出了几点教学建议。
关键词:初中英语;教学;策略;121课堂新一轮课程改革带动了教育观念、模式的全新变革,教师也由原来的传道授业解惑者变为学习的设计者、组织者、指导者,而新课改倡导的自主、合作、探究式学习,不仅完全打破了旧的教学思想,也对教育教学提出了新的更高的要求。
本人在初中英语教学实践中深刻地分析了新课程标准下的初中英语教学目标、课堂教学特点、学生学习特点,通过改进教学策略,使学生想学、会学、巧学,从而大大提高教学的效果。
一、激发学生学习英语的兴趣和动机,让学生想学前苏联教育家苏霍姆林斯基也认为,激发学生的学习兴趣,精心保护和培育学生发自内心的学习愿望,以及由此萌发出来的学习上的自尊心和自信心,是教学促进发展的起点。
从英语教学的现状来看,学生对英语学习感到快乐、积极主动的不多,视英语学习为负担、不得不学的较多,这主要是学生没有学习英语的兴趣。
心理学研究表明,如果没有学习兴趣就没有学习自觉性,就没有内在动力,浓厚的超人的兴趣是最有效的成功动机。
前苏联教育学家斯卡特金认为,教学效果取决于学生的兴趣,所以教学要千方百计地激发起学生强烈的求知欲望和学习热情,教学的一个最简单法则即带着兴趣学习。
所以教师要调动学生学习英语的积极主动性,使学生从外力影响下的“要我学”变成发自内心的“我要学”。
1、创设学习环境,营造英语氛围在教学中教师应该努力营造良好的教学气氛,充分利用相应的直观教具、音像教学片、故事、游戏、歌谣、挂图、卡片实物等创设语言环境,使学生们在生动活泼、气氛热烈的环境中学习。
