六年级下册英语第三单元我的偶像作文

六年级下册英语第三单元我的偶像作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My IdolWho is your idol? My idol is a really cool guy named Marcus Rashford. He's a famous soccer player for Manchester United and the England national team. But he's not just an amazing athlete, he's also a great person who helps lots of people!Marcus was born in 1997 in Manchester, England. He grew up pretty poor and his mom worked really hard to support him and his siblings. Sometimes they didn't have enough money for food. Marcus said he had to stick to just eating breakfast and lunch at school and then not eating again until he got free meals at school the next day. That must have been so tough! When Marcus was a kid, all he dreamed about was playing soccer professionally. He joined the youth academy for Manchester United when he was 7 years old. He worked his tail off, training so hard every single day after school. He said he used to kick a ball against the wall for hours just to practice his shooting. All that practice paid off because he was so good thathe started getting called up to play for the big professional team when he was just 18 years old!In 2016, Marcus made his debut for Manchester United's first team. That means he got to play in real games with all the stars! He was the youngest player to ever score on their debut for Manchester United. How crazy is that? Since then, he's become one of their top players and has scored over 100 goals for them. He's won trophies like the FA Cup, League Cup, and Europa League. For the England national team, he represented them at the 2018 World Cup and the Euro 2020 tournament. But Marcus isn't just an unbelievable soccer talent. He's an even better person off the field. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when everyone was stuck at home, Marcus realized that lots of poor kids weren't getting free school meals anymore since schools were closed. He was worried those kids would go hungry. So Marcus did something amazing - he raised over 20 million pounds (that's like 25 million dollars!) to pay for food vouchers for families in need. The money provided over 3 million meals for hungry kids! The UK government didn't want to pay for the meal vouchers at first, but Marcus didn't give up. He wrote an inspirational letter about his own childhood experience withhunger and poverty. He convinced the prime minister to spend 120 million pounds to fund the vouchers and keep kids from going hungry. How heroic is that? For his efforts feeding underprivileged children, Marcus received the BBC Sport's Personality of the Year award. He was even given an honorary doctorate degree! The Queen of England also gave Marcus the Order of the British Empire, one of the highest honors a civilian can get in the UK.But Marcus wasn't done helping people yet. In 2021, he created a book club to promote reading and literacy for kids. Every week he reads a new book and discusses it with his young "teammates" online. The book club has already sent out over 60,000 free books!Marcus has also donated millions to charities and causes like helping homeless people and providing clean water in developing countries. Despite being a global superstar, Marcus remains really humble and focused on using his platform for good. He's such an inspiration! That's why Marcus Rashford is my idol. He's incredibly skilled at soccer but he's an even better person. He works hard, overcomes obstacles, cares about others, and uses his success to help people in need. I want to be just like him when I grow up -following my dreams while being generous and making the world a little bit better. Marcus shows that no matter your circumstances, you can achieve amazing things with passion and determination. He's living proof that you should never give up on your goals and always look for ways to lend a hand whenever you can. What could be more inspiring than that? Marcus Rashford is the ultimate role model and that's why he's my idol!篇2My IdolDo you have someone you really look up to and admire? Someone whose life and achievements make you go "Wow, I want to be just like them when I grow up!" For me, that person is Lin-Manuel Miranda - the amazing writer, composer, rapper, actor and all-around genius!Lin-Manuel Miranda was born in New York in 1980. His parents came from Puerto Rico and he grew up speaking both English and Spanish. Even as a little kid, he was super into music, drama, and poetry. Can you believe he was already writing little musicals when he was just 7 years old? Total overachiever! In high school, Lin-Manuel kept following his passions for the arts. He was a big part of the drama club and student theater. He also freestyle rapped with his friends and even started an improv comedy group. I can just picture this talented, creative kid rapping about his homework or cracking jokes on stage. How cool is that? After high school, Lin-Manuel went to college at Wesleyan University. That's where he really started to make a name for himself as a rising talent. In 1999, his sophomore year, he put on his first big musical called "In the Heights." It was all about the neighborhood he grew up in Washington Heights and featured a mix of hip hop, salsa, merengue and other Latin rhythms. People totally loved it!Even though In the Heights was a huge hit, it would take Lin-Manuel another 16 years to become a global superstar. After college, he moved back to New York City and spent years working on the musical, revising it over and over to make it just right. In 2008, it finally made it to Broadway and was a massive critical and commercial success. Lin-Manuel won tons of awards including the Tony for Best Musical and Best Original Score. Wow!But that was just the beginning for the incredibly ambitious and hardworking Lin-Manuel Miranda. His next project was something nobody had ever really seen before on Broadway - a hip hop musical about one of America's Founding Fathers, Alexander Hamilton. Could you even imagine? A rap about a historical figure from the 1700s? It sounds totally crazy, butLin-Manuel's genius mind pulled it off in the most epic way possible.Hamilton: An American Musical took Broadway by storm when it opened in 2015. Lin-Manuel starred as the title character, rapping his face off with brilliant, densely packed historical lyrics. It was like a whole history lesson set to an amazing hip hop soundtrack. The musical was groundbreaking in its diverse casting, with Black and Latino actors playing the old white American leaders. And the music fused so many different styles - hip hop, pop, jazz, R&B and Broadway showtunes. It was like nothing anyone had ever experienced before.I could go on for hours about how mind-blowingly awesome Hamilton is, but I'll try to rein it in! The show quickly became a cultural phenomenon, winning a bazillion awards including the Pulitzer Prize. Celebrities obsessed over it, politicians loved it, and fans waited months for ticket lotteries just for a chance toget in. Lin-Manuel Miranda had crossed over into global superstardom while bringing sexy back to American history! But even after achieving that level of incredible success,Lin-Manuel didn't stop there. While Hamilton was blowing up, he also co-wrote music for Star Wars, did some acting gigs, worked on animated movies and so much more. This guy's creative energy is absolutely unstoppable! He's always making new things, inspiring other artists, and breaking boundaries. And you know what one of the most amazing things about Lin-Manuel Miranda is? He hasn't forgotten where he came from or his cultural roots one bit. He puts so much pride into celebrating Latinx culture through his art. He raps about immigrants getting their "shot" at the American dream. And he uses his huge platform to speak out on social issues and lend his voice to important causes. What a role model! So there you have it, folks. This super talented, brilliant, hardworking and socially conscious guy from Washington Heights is my #1 idol. From his early days writing kid musicals to selling out Broadway as a rap legend, Lin-Manuel Miranda has shown me that you can achieve absolutely anything if you pour your heart into your passions and never stop believing in yourself. His creative journey and artistic vision have inspired millions, brought new life to musical theater, and made learning about history fresh and exciting. He's living proof that art can change the world. I want to be just like him when I grow up - constantly creating, innovating, following my dreams, and using my voice to bring positivity to the world. What could be cooler than that?篇3My IdolHey there! Today I'm gonna tell you all about my biggest idol - the person I look up to and admire the most in the whole wide world. Are you ready? Let me introduce you to...Serena Williams! Yeah, you know her - the super awesome and amazing tennis player!Serena is so cool. First of all, she's an incredible athlete. She's won a whopping 23 Grand Slam singles titles, which is the most by any player in the modern era. That's like, a bajillion trophies! And she's not even done yet - she's still playing at the highest level at 37 years old. How awesome is that? But Serena isn't just a tennis legend, she's also crazy strong, both physically and mentally. Have you seen her muscles? She's totally ripped! I wanna have arms like that when I grow up. Sheworks out like crazy to stay in top shape. And her mental game is just as strong as her physical game. She never gives up, no matter how tough the match gets. Even when she's down, she keeps on fighting with all her heart.I really admire Serena's fighting spirit and determination. She's overcome so many challenges and obstacles in her life and career, but she never let anything stop her from chasing her dreams. When people doubted her or put her down, she just used it as fuel to work harder and prove them wrong. How inspiring is that?Another reason I idolize Serena is that she's an amazing role model, especially for women and girls. She's shown that we can be just as good as the guys, if not better, in any sport or field. She's broken down so many barriers and shattered glass ceilings with her accomplishments. And off the court, she fights for women's rights and equality. She's not afraid to speak up and use her voice for what she believes in.But what I love most about Serena is her fun, playful personality. Sure, she's a fierce competitor on the court. But when she's not playing, she's always laughing, joking around, and having a good time. She doesn't take herself too seriously, and that's really cool. And she has the most awesomecelebratory dances after she wins! I've been practicing her twirls and shuffles in my bedroom mirror. You can tell Serena just genuinely loves the game of tennis and has a great time playing it. She makes it look so fun and easy, even though it's super hard work. When I see how much joy and passion she has for her sport, it inspires me to find something I love just as much and go after it with everything I've got, just like she does.I could go on and on about why Serena Williams is my idol, but I'm running out of space here. Let me just say that she's shown me what's possible when you dream big, work hard, and never give up. She's living proof that you can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness if you have the talent, the drive, and the determination to make it happen.Serena has had such an amazing journey and incredible career so far, and I can't wait to see what else she'll accomplish in the years to come. Maybe I'll even get to meet her in person one day! How awesome would that be? Until then, I'll keep looking up to her, cheering her on, and striving to be more like her - a champion in sports and in life. Thanks for being such an inspiration, Serena!篇4My IdolEveryone has someone they really look up to and admire. For me, that person is my uncle Jason. He's the coolest guy I know! Uncle Jason is adventurous, funny, and always kind to everyone. I want to be just like him when I grow up.Uncle Jason is 32 years old and doesn't have a regular job. Instead, he travels all around the world doing odd jobs and exploring new places. How amazing is that?! Every few months, he calls my family from some faraway country to tell us about his latest adventures.Just last year, he was in Peru hiking up majestic mountains to see ancient ruins. Before that, he spent six months in Australia scuba diving along the Great Barrier Reef. He has seen kangaroos, sloths, elephants and so many other awesome animals up close in their natural habitats. I'm super jealous! When Uncle Jason comes to visit us, he brings the neatest souvenirs and tells us the most hilarious stories about people he's met and things that have happened to him on the road. Like this one time in Morocco, he accidentally insulted a shopkeeper by telling him his pottery was "shoddy." Turns out shoddydoesn't mean well-made in Arabic! The poor guy chased Uncle Jason down the street waving a broom at him. We couldn't stop laughing for hours after he told us that tale.Uncle Jason never knows where he'll be sleeping from one week to the next. Sometimes he stays in hostels or cheap motels. Other times, he'll camp out under the stars or crash on a friendly local's couch through a website for travelers. He doesn't make a lot of money, but he says being free to go wherever his heart desires is worth more than anything. My mom worries about Uncle Jason and wishes he'd "settle down and get a real job already." But I think his lifestyle is so cool and exciting! Imagine getting to see the Taj Mahal, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Colosseum in Rome anytime you want. Uncle Jason has been to all those places and more because he's footloose and free to roam. What I admire most about my uncle, though, is how friendly and kind he is to everyone he meets on his journeys across the globe. He makes an effort to learn at least a few words of the local language wherever he goes. Then he uses those words to start conversations with strangers and make new friends. Uncle Jason says the world would be a much better place if we all took the time to understand and appreciate each other's cultures.Whenever I'm having a bad day at school, I just think about the life Uncle Jason leads and it cheers me up. He faces scarier stuff than bullies or failed math tests all the time. Like that incident with the rabid monkey in Bangkok! Yet he never lets anything get him down for long. If things get rough, he just packs up and moves on to the next adventure.Uncle Jason is living proof that you don't have to follow society's typical path to have an awesome life. Most adults I know are tied down by marriage, mortgages, 9-to-5 office jobs and a bunch of other responsibilities. But not my uncle! He's completely free to go wherever he wants and do whatever makes him happy. Talk about living the dream! That's the life I want when I'm older - full of excitement, exploration and new experiences around every corner. No way am I getting stuck in a cubicle staring at a computer screen all day. I'd go bonkers! Give me backpacking across the Sahara, sailing from island to island, or hiking the Appalachian Trail any day.Of course, Uncle Jason's lifestyle isn't all sunshine and rainbows. He has faced some scary and dangerous situations during his travels too. Once, he got mugged at knifepoint after taking a wrong turn in Rio de Janeiro. Another time, he gotdeathly ill from drinking unclean water while camping in India. Despite the risks, though, he keeps on wandering because seeing the world is his biggest passion.I'll never forget the time Uncle Jason missed my 10th birthday because he was stranded in a remote village in Laos after missing the last bus out. He felt terrible about it, but to me it was no big deal. I'd way rather have an uncle seeing the real Laos than one who's just watching it on TV at home. His travel stories are way better than any lame present!Mom and Dad hope I'll outgrow my "Uncle Jason phase" eventually. They want me to go to college, get an office job, and live a "normal" life when I'm older. But I can't imagine anything more boring! Why have a humdrum existence when you could be criss-crossing the globe and discovering new places and cultures instead?Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking regular folks with plain old jobs and routines. That lifestyle works for a lot of people and there's nothing wrong with it. But to me, it just sounds so...bland. So unfulfilling. So not how I want to spend my one precious life on this planet. When I look at Uncle Jason, I see a man who is truly free to live life on his own terms. He's the master of his own destiny, beholden to no one and nothing but his own spirit of adventure and sense of curiosity. How could I not idolize someone like that? He's living the dream I hope to one day achieve for myself.Sure, being a permanent vagabond has its downsides too. You never get to put down roots or have a real home base. It can get lonely not having a stable friend group or loved one to share your life with. And there's always the risk of running out of money with no real job or savings to fall back on. Uncle Jason has experienced all those challenges and then some on the road. But to him, those discomforts are a small price to pay for getting to spend his days however he pleases - waking up in a new city or small town every week if he wants. Climbing mountains, crossing deserts, meeting new people from all walks of life. Always moving, always seeking out the next grand adventure. That's the bohemian lifestyle my uncle has chosen, and I can't help but be a little envious of his freewheeling ways.Don't worry, I'm not going to drop out of school and start globetrotting tomorrow. I've still got some growing up to do first. But you can bet that once I'm older, all my relatives better watch out. Because this kid is going to be the next great world traveler and adventurer -- just like his awesome, one-of-a-kind,free-spirited Uncle Jason.篇5My IdolHi everyone! Today I want to tell you all about my biggest idol - the person I admire and look up to more than anyone else in the whole world. Are you ready? Ok, here goes!My idol is my big sister Emily. She is 18 years old and just graduated from high school last year. I look up to her so much because she is super smart, very kind and helpful, and has accomplished amazing things even though she is still so young.First of all, Emily is a total brainiac. She has literally gotten straight A's her entire life - not even one B, ever! Can you believe that? I don't know how she does it. Whenever I'm struggling with my homework, she is always there to patiently explain things to me until I understand. She makes even the hardest math problems seem easy when she tutors me. Her brain must be like a computer or something! Not only is she book smart, but she is also incredibly talented when it comes to music. Emily plays piano and violin beautifully. She has won so many competitions and awards for her musical abilities over the years. I love listening to her practice at home - the music is so peaceful and calming. Sometimes if I'mhaving a rough day at school, hearing her play her violin makes me feel so much better. She is seriously an amazing musician.Another reason why Emily is my idol is because of how kind, caring and helpful she is, especially to me. We're pretty far apart in age, so you might think she wouldn't want her annoying little brother tagging along and bugging her all the time. But she has never once made me feel that way. Emily is always happy to have me around and never gets mad when I ask a million questions about things. She's SO patient!Whenever I'm sad about something, like if I got a bad grade or got picked last for a team at school, Emily knows just what to say to make me feel better. She gives the best advice and always supports me, no matter what. I can tell her anything and she never judges me. She's just a great listener with a big heart.Emily is also there any time I need help with anything, big or small. Like I mentioned, she is a super tutor who can explain concepts better than most teachers. But she helps me out in so many other ways too. If I'm struggling to learn a new video game, sport, or musical instrument, Emily takes the time to coach me through it patiently. She has taught me so many valuable skills over the years just by being so caring and nurturing. Not only is my wonderful sister brilliant and kind, but she is also incredible at always putting others first. Even though she had her own life, activities, job, etc. while in high school, Emily still made family her biggest priority. She constantly found ways to help out around the house with chores and cooking. Whenever my parents needed something, she dropped everything to be there for them. I have countless memories of her babysitting me after school or on weekends so mom and dad could go out. She played with me for hours, helped me with projects, and made sure I had a snack and did my homework. Emily practically raised me!To top it all off, my amazing big sis is one of the most hardworking and accomplished people I know. Throughout high school, she played multiple sports, was the president of several clubs, volunteered constantly, and worked a part-time job - all while acing her classes. It's inhuman how much she was able to juggle! But she did it all with a smile and humble attitude.Emily's drive and dedication paid off big time when she got into her dream college with a huge scholarship. I was so proud of her! She is now studying biomedical engineering and wants to work on developing artificial organs and prosthetics to help people in need. It's such an admirable goal. I just know she isgoing to go on to create amazing things that improve many lives. So those are the main reasons why Emily is not just my big sister, but my ultimate idol and role model. She has set the bar super high in terms of being a good student, hardworking, kind, caring, talented and selfless person. Every day, I strive to be more like her. Emily makes me want to study harder, be a better friend and family member, and make good choices that have a positive impact on others. She is living proof that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to with enough passion and perseverance. My awesome sister has shaped me into the person I am today, and for that I am forever grateful. Whenever I'm facing a challenge or am unsure about something, I think "What would Emily do?" And then I know exactly how to handle it - with smarts, poise, hard work and compassion, just like her. She has shown me what it means to be a good human being. No celebrity, athlete or famous person could ever top Emily as my #1 idol!I love you Emily! Thank you for being such an incredible role model and sister. I hope that when I am older, I can inspire others and be someone's idol too, just like you are to me.篇6My IdolWho is your idol? I bet a lot of you will say movie stars, singers, or athletes. Those are really cool idols, but my idol is someone a bit different - my big sister Jessica! I look up to her so much and she inspires me every single day.Jessica is 16 years old and a sophomore in high school. She's super smart and gets amazing grades. Last year, she won the school science fair with her project on recycling plastic. She even got invited to some big national competition! I was so proud of her. Jessica is always studying hard, but she still finds time to help me with my homework when I get stuck. She's really patient and never makes me feel dumb even when I ask a million questions. But brains aren't the only reason Jessica is my idol. She's an incredible artist too! Jessica can draw the most beautiful pictures and she's an awesome painter. Our fridge at home is always covered in her latest masterpieces. She even sells some of her artworks online and people buy them! How cool is that? Jessica is teaching me how to draw and paint after school. I'm getting a bit better but she's definitely the art genius in our family.Jessica also loves sports, especially basketball. I go to all her games to cheer her on from the bleachers. She's the star forward on her high school team and she can dribble and shoot like a pro. I've seen her score so many game-winning baskets at the buzzer! After her games, Jessica always takes time to sign autographs and take pictures with little kids who admire her. She's so kind and never acts like she's too cool even though she's pretty much the most popular girl in school. But you know what I love most about Jessica? She's just an all-around nice person who always tries her best to help others. In the evenings, Jessica volunteers at the local animal shelter to play with the dogs and cats waiting to be adopted. On weekends, she helps out at the community garden teaching little kids how to plant fruits and veggies. Jessica is even part of this bigsister/little sister mentoring program at school where she meets with an elementary student every week to help them with whatever they need.Of course, Jessica isn't perfect - nobody is! Sometimes she can be a little messy and doesn't always clean up after herself right away. And she can get grumpy if she stays up too late working on a big project for school. But her good qualities absolutely make up for those little imperfections.I really look up to Jessica and hope I can be just like her when I'm older. She's an amazing student, talented artist, skilled athlete, and most importantly, a caring individual who makes the world a little bit better every day. To me, Jessica is the total package - she's beautiful inside and out. Not everyone can become a famous movie star or singer, but everyone can try to be more like my wonderful big sister. That's why Jessica will always be my one and only idol!。

我的偶像英语作文
I think lots of students like the pop singer named Jay. I also like him very much. when he released his first album, I started to buy his album. And I never miss any album of his. Do you know as a boy, Jay was called Dull Stupid.
But his mother Yeh Huimei, noticed that the quiet, shy boy seemed to dance practically when he heard the western Pop music she used to play. His mother sent him to a piano school when he was four. when he has grown up, he had developed an ability for instant playing beyond his years. I learned to play the piano from 7 years old to 13 years old. I often feel bored when I practise playing the piano.
But Jay was always crazy about playing the piano. I think he really
likes music. So I admire him very much, and I call him hero. I admire Jay. The real reason is when the others all denied him, he never gave up. He tried his best to change his life. I think it is good for everybody. I hope that everyone can learn from him---try their best to do everything. Then I think we will make the grade.。
