七年级英语下册 Module 3 Making plans May Day文章素材 (新版)外研版

Title: The Magic of TravelTraveling is an enchanting experience that opens the doors to a world of wonders. It takes us to places we have only dreamed of, filling our hearts with joy and our minds with knowledge. As I embarked on my journey to the enchanted land of Japan, I was filled with anticipation and excitement.Japan, a country renowned for its rich culture and stunning landscapes, was a dream destination for me. From the bustling cities to the serene countryside, every corner of this land held a story to tell. My first stop was Tokyo, the capital city that never sleeps. The towering skyscrapers, the neon lights, and the bustling streets were a sight to behold. I wandered through the Akihabara district, marveling at the array of electronics and anime merchandise. The sumo wrestling matches were an exciting spectacle, and the traditional tea ceremonies were a soothing balm to the senses. From Tokyo, I traveled to Kyoto, the heart of Japanese culture. The ancient temples and shrines were like stepping into a time capsule, filled with the spirit of the past. The cherry blossoms in full bloom were a vision of pure beauty, and the autumn leaves were a riot of colors. I attended a traditional Japanese festival, where the sound of taiko drums and the sight of colorful costumes filled me with joy.My journey also took me to the countryside, where the pace of life was slower and the natural beauty was untouched. I visited a rice terrace, watching the farmers work diligently in the fields. The serene beauty of the countryside, with its rolling hills and crystal-clear streams, was a balm to my soul. The food in Japan was another highlight of my trip. From sushi and ramen to tempura and izakaya, the cuisine was a delight to the taste buds. I tried my hand at making sushi under the guidance of a skilled chef, an experience that was both fun and rewarding.Traveling to Japan was not just a journey of exploration but also a journey of self-discovery. It taught me about different cultures, histories, and ways of life.It broadened my horizons and made me appreciate thediversity of the world. I returned home with a heart fullof memories and a mind full of insights. The magic of travel lies in its ability to transport us to new places, introduce us to new people, and open oureyes to new perspectives. It is an adventure that takes us out of our comfort zones and challenges us to grow and learn. As I reflect on my journey to Japan, I am gratefulfor the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonders of this enchanted land.**旅行的魔力**旅行是一种迷人的体验,它为我们打开了一个充满奇迹的世界的大门。

英语外研版七年级下册第七模块作文

英语外研版七年级下册第七模块作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Title: My Wild Summer AdventuresHi there! My name is Tommy, and I'm a 10-year-old kid who just finished primary school. This summer was one of the most exciting and adventurous times of my life, and I can't wait to share my wild stories with you!It all started a few days after school ended. My parents decided to take me and my little sister, Lily, on a camping trip to the nearby national park. I was thrilled because I love being outdoors and exploring nature. We packed our tents, sleeping bags, and plenty of snacks, and hit the road. When we arrived at the campsite, the first thing we did was set up our tents. It was a bit of a struggle, but with my dad's guidance, we managed to get them up and running. After that, we went on a short hike along one of the trails. The scenery was breathtaking! Tall trees surrounded us, and the sound of a nearby stream added to the peaceful atmosphere. As we were walking, I noticed something moving in the bushes. I stopped and peered closer, and to my surprise, it was a family of deer! They were so graceful and beautiful. We watched them for a while before they disappeared back into the forest. That night, we sat around the campfire, roasting marshmallows and telling ghost stories. My sister got a little scared, but I tried to act brave, even though some of the stories gave me goosebumps too!The next day, we decided to go on a longer hike. We packed our backpacks with snacks, water, and other essentials. As we ventured deeper into the forest, the trail became more challenging. We had to climb over fallen trees and navigate through rocky terrain. But the breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys made it all worth it.At one point, we came across a shallow stream. My dad suggested we take a break and have a picnic by the water. As we were eating our sandwiches, I noticed something moving in the stream. I looked closer and realized it was a bunch of small fish! Without thinking, I took off my shoes and socks and stepped into the cool water. The fish swam around my feet, tickling them. It was such a fun and refreshing experience! After our picnic, we continued our hike. Suddenly, we heard a loud rustling noise coming from the bushes nearby. My heart started racing, and I clutched my dad's arm tightly. To our relief, it was just a harmless raccoon foraging for food. We watched it for a few minutes before it scurried away.As the day wore on, we decided to head back to our campsite. We were tired from all the hiking, but we had an amazing time. That night, we fell asleep quickly, exhausted but happy. The next day, we packed up our things and headed home. On the way back, we stopped at a local ice cream parlor and treated ourselves to some delicious sundaes. It was the perfect way to end our wild summer adventure.Looking back, I'm so grateful for the opportunity to explore nature and create wonderful memories with my family. I learned so much about the great outdoors and the amazing creatures that call it home. I can't wait for our next camping trip, where I'm sure we'll have even more wild and exciting adventures!篇2My Summer Vacation AdventuresHi there! My name is Emily and I just finished 5th grade. I'm going to tell you all about my super fun and exciting summer vacation! After the last day of school, my parents surprised me and my little brother Sam by telling us we were going on a big trip. They said to pack our bags because we were headed to...the Grand Canyon! I had learned about the Grand Canyon in school but had never been there before. I couldn't wait to see it in person. The drive from our house took forever - we were in the car for what felt like days. Sam and I asked "Are we there yet?" about a million times. Mom and Dad just laughed at our impatience. Finally, after hours and hours in the car, we arrived in Arizona near the Grand Canyon. Even the view from the parking lot was amazing - we could see the huge canyon stretching out before us.We stayed in a little cabin right near the canyon's edge. On our first morning there, we woke up bright and early to watch the sunrise over the canyon. The sight was breathtaking as the morning light slowly crept across the vast openness, bringing the colorful rock layers into view. I felt so small looking out at that immense natural wonder. That day, we went hiking part of the way down into the canyon itself on the Bright Angel Trail. Even though we only went a little way, it was quite challenging with the steep switchbacks and high temperatures. Every time we stopped for a break, I chugged tons of water from my CamelBak. The further down we got, the more astounding perspective we had looking up at the towering canyon walls above us. I couldn't imagine what it would be like to hike all the way across! The next few days, we drove to see some other cool attractions near the Grand Canyon. One day we visited an old mining town called Jerome that was built right into the side of a mountain. It felt like going back in time walking along the rustic streets lined with historic buildings. We went underground into an old copper mine and learned all about the hard life of the miners long ago.Another day, we toured some ancient Native American cliff dwellings nestled into rocky alcoves high up on the walls of another canyon. I was amazed that they built such intricate living spaces in those small spaces so long ago without modern tools or construction equipment. We even got to see some preserved artifacts and pottery left behind by the Ancestral Puebloans who lived there centuries ago.One of my favorite excursions was taking a rafting trip down a portion of the Colorado River that flows through the Grand Canyon. We had a hilarious guide who taught us how to paddle together as a crew. Even though the water was freezing cold, it felt amazing to be right down inside that massive, iconic canyon. We floated past millennia-old rock walls towering thousands of feet above us. I'll never forget that incredible perspective and scale. After nearly a week of exploring, it was sadly time to leave the Grand Canyon area and head for home. I had so many unforgettable memories - watching the sunrise, hiking the trails, learning about history, and so much more. I was really grateful my parents took us on such an awesome trip to experience one of America's most famous natural wonders firsthand. When we got back home, summer was in full swing and the neighborhood pool was open again. My friends and I spent most days swimming, playing pool games, and attempting flips off the diving board (some were more successful than others). We'd get snow cones from the snack bar and have contests to see who could stain their tongue the brightest shades of blue and purple.A few weeks into summer, my family went camping at a lake in the mountains for the 4th of July. We rented a smallmotorboat one day and puttered around the glassy water, trying (unsuccessfully) to do watersports. Tubing was basically just a lot of crashing into waves at high speed - I had a wipeout and launched off the tube into the chilly lake more than once! In the evenings, we made s'mores around the campfire and watched fireworks displays lighting up the night sky.Midway through the summer, Sam and I attended a weeklong day camp focused on outdoor adventures. We went rock climbing (terrifying at first but awesome once I got the hang of it!), mountain biking篇3My Summer Vacation AdventuresHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm going to tell you all about my exciting summer vacation. It was one of the best summers ever! I got to do so many fun things and go on some really cool adventures. The first adventure happened right at the start of summer break. My parents surprised me and my little brother, Tommy, with a trip to the beach! We packed our bags and hopped in the car for a three-hour drive to the coast. When we got there, the first thing we did was run straight into the ocean. The water wasa little chilly at first, but it felt so refreshing on that hot summer day. After splashing around in the waves for a while, we built the most amazing sandcastle. Tommy and I worked together to make it as tall as we could, with towers, bridges, and a moat all around it. We even found some seashells to decorate it. Unfortunately, a big wave came and knocked it all down, but we had so much fun building it.In the evenings, we'd have a bonfire on the beach and roast marshmallows. I loved watching the sunset over the ocean while we sang campfire songs and told spooky stories. One night, we even spotted a family of raccoons scavenging for food near our campsite! After a few days at the beach, we went on another adventure – camping in the mountains! We pitched our tent in a beautiful forest, surrounded by tall trees and the sounds of birds chirping. During the day, we went on long hikes and explored the woods, looking for cool rocks, pinecones, and animal tracks. One day, we came across a stream and decided to go wading in it. The water was freezing cold, but it felt so refreshing after our hike. Tommy and I had a blast splashing each other andtrying to catch little fish with our hands. We didn't have any luck catching fish, but we sure had a lot of fun trying! At night, we'd build a campfire and cook our dinner over the flames. My favorite was the s'mores we made for dessert. There's nothing quite like a gooey, chocolatey s'more made over a crackling campfire in the great outdoors. After our camping trip, we went back home for a few weeks. But our summer adventures weren't over yet! My parents surprised us again with a trip to an amusement park. I was so excited – I love rollercoasters and thrill rides! The first ride we went on was this huge, twisted rollercoaster called the Vortex. It had loops, corkscrews, and wentupside-down multiple times. I was a little nervous at first, but as soon as the ride started and we zoomed down that first big hill, I was screaming with excitement the whole way through! We also went on the Tilt-a-Whirl, the Scrambler, the Pirate Ship, and so many more rides. My favorite was probably the log flume ride, where you go splashing down a huge waterfall at the end. We got completely drenched, but it was worth it on such a hot day.Towards the end of the summer, my parents took us to visit our cousins who live on a farm a few hours away. I was really excited because I love animals and had never been to a real farm before. As soon as we got there, my cousins gave us a tour of the farm. We got to see the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses up close. The cows were massive! And the pigs were so cute and pink. The chickens ran around everywhere, clucking and pecking at the ground. My favorite were definitely the horses. My cousin let me brush and feed one of the horses named Daisy. She was beautiful, with a shiny brown coat and a white stripe on her face. I even got to go for a short horseback ride! It was a little scary at first being so high up, but Daisy was very gentle and well-behaved.In the evenings after helping my cousins do their farm chores like feeding the animals and collecting eggs, we'd have a bonfire and roast hot dogs and make s'mores again. I loved sitting around the flames, looking up at the bright stars that you could never see in the city where I live.My cousins also took us on a tractor ride around the farm one night. We went bumping along the dirt roads, taking in the sights and sounds of the countryside. I'd never realized howpeaceful it could be out in the country, away from the noise and busyness of the city.Well, those were the highlights of my incredible summer vacation! Between the beach, the camping, the amusement park, and the farm, I had the time of my life. I made so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget. I can't wait for next summer's adventures! What were your favorite parts? Did you go on any fun trips or do anything exciting over your summer break? I'd love to hear all about it! Thanks for reading, and have a fantastic rest of your summer!篇4Certainly! After a quick stretch and a yawn, I hop out of bed and head to the bathroom for my morning routine.Once I'm all freshened up, I dash downstairs to the kitchen, where the delightful aroma of my mom's famous pancakes fills the air. Here's to many more amazing days filled with knowledge, fun, and friendship!篇5My Unforgettable Summer VacationLast summer, I had the most amazing vacation ever! It was a trip that I will never forget for the rest of my life. My parents had promised to take me and my little sister somewhere special if we both did well in our exams, and we did! So, they decided to take us to a beautiful beach resort for a whole week. The journey itself was quite exciting. We had to take a long train ride, and then a bus to get to the resort. I loved looking out of the window and watching the scenery change as we traveled. The towns and cities slowly gave way to rolling hills and vastfields of crops. Finally, we could see the sparkling blue ocean in the distance! When we arrived at the resort, I was blown away by how beautiful it was. The hotel building was huge, with a fancy lobby and a massive swimming pool right in the front. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the beach, and we could hear the soothing sound of the waves crashing against the shore. The first thing we did after settling in was to head down to the beach. The sand was so soft and warm between my toes, and the ocean water was the perfect temperature – not too cold, but refreshingly cool. My sister and I spent hours splashing around in the shallow waters and building sandcastles. We even buried Dad in the sand at one point, much to his amusement! In the evenings, we would go for long walks along the beach, collecting seashells and watching the stunning sunsets. The colors in the sky were so vibrant and breathtaking, with shades of orange, pink, and purple all blending together. It was like a beautiful painting come to life. One of the highlights of the trip was the day we went snorkeling. We rented some snorkeling gear from the hotel and ventured out into the crystal-clear waters. Underneath the surface, it was like entering a whole new world! There were somany colorful fish swimming around us, darting in and out of the coral reefs. I even spotted a few sea turtles lazily floating by. It was an incredible experience that made me appreciate the beauty and diversity of marine life.Another day, we went on a boat tour to explore some nearby islands. The boat ride was a lot of fun, with the wind blowing through our hair and the spray of the ocean misting our faces. We stopped at a few different islands and had the chance to go hiking through lush tropical forests, spotting all sorts of interesting plants and animals along the way.In the evenings, we would often go to the hotel's outdoor restaurant and enjoy delicious seafood dinners while listening to live music. The atmosphere was so relaxing and enjoyable, with twinkling lights strung up overhead and the sound of the ocean waves in the background. All too soon, our week-long vacation came to an end, and it was time to head back home. As we packed our bags and said goodbye to the beautiful beach resort, I felt a mix of sadness and gratitude. Sadness because I didn't want the amazing experience to end, but gratitude for having had the opportunity to create such wonderful memories with my family. The journey back home seemed to drag on forever, as I kept reminiscing about all the fun times we had had. I knew that I would cherish those memories for years to come, and I couldn't wait to go on another adventure like that someday.Overall, my summer vacation was truly unforgettable. It was a chance to explore new places, try new things, and spend quality time with my loved ones. The beautiful beaches, the snorkeling adventure, the island exploration, and the delicious seafood dinners – all of it combined to create an experience that I will never forget. It was the perfect way to spend a summer break, and I can't wait to make more amazing memories like that in the future.篇6A Day in the Life of a Middle SchoolerHey there! My name is Emma and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. I thought I'd give you a peek into a typical day in my life as a middle school student. Just a fair warning, it's a bit of a rollercoaster ride!It all starts with the dreaded sound of my alarm clock blaring at 6:30 AM. I tend to be a bit of a night owl, so getting up that early is torture! But I know I have to get ready for school, so Ireluctantly drag myself out of bed. After getting dressed and grabbing a quick breakfast, I'm out the door by 7:15.The morning commute to school is actually one of my favorite parts of the day. I love walking through my neighborhood, feeling the crisp morning air and watching the sun rise. It's a peaceful way to start the day before the chaos of middle school kicks in!I arrive at school around 7:45 and head straight to my locker to get my books for my first few classes. The hallways are always buzzing with activity in the morning as everyone is catching up with friends. I try to keep my head down and avoid the masses –I'm honestly not a huge fan of crowds. The first bell rings at 8:00, signaling the start of 1st period. To be honest, this is one of my least favorite classes: math. I've just never been much of a numbers person. Fractions, equations, word problems...it all feels like a foreign language to me! I find myself constantly zoning out and doodling in my notebook instead of paying attention. Not my proudest moment, I know. After an hour of that torture, it's off to 2nd period English. Now this is more my speed! I'm a huge bookworm and I love analyzing literature and creative writing. My teacher always has us do these fun group activities to engage with the readings. Justyesterday, we acted out scenes from Romeo and Juliet. You can imagine how dramatic some of my classmates got with that!Once English is over, it's time for my favorite part of the school day: lunch! I meet up with my small group of friends and we head to the cafeteria. The food isn't exactly gourmet, but I've learned to never judge a tray of mystery meat. We always manage to find an empty table towards the back where we can hang out, laugh about the embarrassing things that happened in class, and just decompress for a bit. After lunch, it's back to the grind with 5th period science. I'll admit, science wasn't really my thing for the longest time. But this year we're learning about environmental science and sustainability, which I've actually found super fascinating! Did you know that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish if we don't make changes? Mind-blowing stuff.6th period is gym class, which is both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it's a nice break from sitting at a desk all day. We get to go outside, run around, and get our bodies moving. But on the other hand, I'm probably the least athletic person you'll ever meet. Trying to climb that dreaded rope or hitting a dodgeball always ends in total embarrassment for me. The struggle is real! Finally, the last bell rings at 3:00 and it's time to go home. Somehow I've managed to survive another day! Instead of walking, I usually take the bus home. It's a pretty rowdy scene, with kids yelling and goofing off after holding it together all day.I just throw in my earbuds, queue up my favorite playlist, and tune it all out.Once I get home around 3:45, I head straight to the kitchen for an after-school snack. Refueling with some cheese and crackers is crucial because the rest of my evening is prettynon-stop. I start off by working on any homework I have, trying my best to get it all done before dinner. Time management is definitely something I'm still working on as a middle schooler!Around 6 PM, we have dinner as a family. We actually have a pretty strict "no phones at the table" rule, so it forces us all to disconnect for a bit and chat about our days. I'll admit, it's nice to have that quality time, even if my little brother can be annoying sometimes. After dinner, it's back to the grind with any remaining homework and studying. The evenings can feel like a bit of a blur honestly, just constantly bouncing from one assignment to the next. I try to wrap up all of my work by 9 PM so I can have a little downtime before bed. Those last couple of hours are reservedfor watching Netflix, reading for fun, or video chatting with friends. Finally, lights are out by 11 PM to get ready to do it all over again tomorrow. Some nights I lie awake wondering what my future holds. Will I go to college? What career will I pursue? Will I make a difference in this world? Only time will tell, I guess. For now, I'm just taking it one day at a time and trying to survive middle school! It's a total rollercoaster of emotions, that's for sure. One minute you're laughing with friends and the next you're stressing over a huge test. But I wouldn't trade these days for anything. It's all part of the crazy journey of growing up!Well, there you have it - a day in my middle school life. It's equal parts stressful and sublime, challenging and rewarding. Catch you on the flip side!。
