在英语知识方面要求大家掌握:1.单词和词组:celebrate, labour (AmE labor), season, vacation, while, ending, list, promise, zero, Labour Day (May Day), as soon as, all over, depend on, count down, get together, a list of, help out, promise to do sth.,2.语法:由while, when, before, after, until, as soon as等引导的时间状语从句。

二、重难点知识讲解off在这里表示“不上班,免于正常的工作”。

e.g.I’m taking a week off over Christmas. 圣诞节期间我会休假一星期。

I’m going to have some time off to work on my house.我准备休假一段时间收拾房子。

He’s off at the moment—I think he’s ill again.这会儿他不在,我想他又病了。
