GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The The GC1117 series of adjustable and fixed voltage regulators are designed to provide up to0.8A outputcurrent and to operate down to 1V input-to-output differential. The dropout voltage of the device is guaranteed maximum 1.3V, decreasing at lower load currents. On-chip trimming adjusts the reference voltage to 1.5%. Current limit is set to minimize the stress under overload conditions on both the regulator and power source circuitry. The GC1117 devices are pin compatible with other t hree-terminal SCSI regulators and are offered in the low profile surface mount SOT-223 package, in the 8L SOIC package and in the TO-252 (DPAK) plastic package.

概述
LM1117 是一个低压差电压调节器系列。其压差在 1.2V 输出,负载电流为 800mA 时为 1.2V。它与国 家半导体的工业标准器件 LM317 有相同的管脚排列。LM1117 有可调电压的版本,通过 2 个外部电阻可实 现 1.25~13.8V 输出电压范围。另外还有 5 个固定电压输出(1.8V、2.5V、2.85V、3.3V 和 5V)的型号。

The AS1117 is offered in a 3-pin surface mount package SOT-223, TO-252, TO-220, SOT-89 & TO-263. The output capacitor of 10µF or larger is needed for output stability of AS1117 as required by most of the other regulator circuits. Use of ALPHA Semiconductor’s design, processing and testing techniques make our AS1117 superior over similar products.

FUNCTION A resistor divider from this pin to the Vout pin and ground sets the output voltage (Ground only for fixed mode) The output of the regulator. A minimum of 10uF capacitor must be connected from this pin to ground to insure stability. The input pin of regulator .Typically a large storage capacitor is connected from this pin to ground to insure that the input voltage does not sag below the minimum dropout voltage during the load transient response .This pin must always be 1.3V higher than Vout in order for the device to regulate properly.
Note 1: See thermal regulation specifications for changes in output voltage due to heating effects. Line and load regulation are measured at a constant junction Temperature by low duty cycle pulse testing .Load regulation is measured at the output lead =1/18” from the package.
