学习用单词、短语描述各种动物的特征,熟练运用What、W h y、Where引导的特殊疑问句询问和表达喜欢的动物是什么、为什么、地点在哪里。

通过学习,能掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词,学会使用情态动词can、must、一般疑问句、否定疑问句和祈使句来表达动物的外貌特征、习性、面临的处境和正确的做法,学会用能自主的去搜寻关于珍稀动物的资料,提高学生关心动物和爱护自然的认识。

学情分析本单元的主题是描述动物的外貌特征和谈谈自己的喜好,围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动,使学生正确使用What、W h y、Where 引导的特殊疑问句来询问并正确回答关于的动物的话题。

在对话操练的时候会使用许多形容词,可以回顾以前学过的单词。

并使用情态动词can、名词的复数形式以及单三形式表达动物的习性和生存环境,这些内容学生之前有接触过,但是有部分同学掌握的不是很好,所以要用对话操练的形式多加练习,达到巩固的目的。

通过对动物的描述,让学生从从潜意识意识到动物的重要性,让学生自觉的爱护动物,保护动物,进而激发学生对大自然的保护意识,有利于帮助学生树立环保意识,增强环保观念。

【学情分析】我校地处城乡结合部,班级学生是以中等生为主的七年级新生,他们学习英语有很大的学习兴趣,有较强的记忆力和模仿能力,并有较强的求知欲和表现欲,因此课堂教学中我尽量让他们参与到活动中来,让他们有更多的机会来说英语用英语。
