本节课的教学内容是五年级上册第二单元Unit 2 Teachers的第二课时，即教材第16和17页内容：A Look, listen and answer, B Let’s talk, C Let’s write. A部分通过Yaoyao和Wu Peng在操场上看他们学校教师进行篮球比赛时的对话，情境化地呈现了本单元的目标功能句：What does he/she teach? 及其答语：He/ She teache s … B部分通过“说一说”的活动，练习新学功能句。
C部分是学生根据B部分谈话的内容，补充问句并写出答语。
二、学生情况分析
通过本单元第一课时的学习，学生已经能够听懂、会说wear glasses, slim, curly, straight, nice, young和teach这7个单词。
能够运用已学功能句，如She/ He is … She/ He has …对教师的外貌特征进行简单的描述。
这些知识的掌握，为本节的顺利学习做了很好的准备。
