他们回家不爱背句子、不记单词、不听磁带、不按时交作业。
因此，分层教学显得尤为重要。
对于每一位孩子的学习过程，学习情况，及学习中所存在的问题教师都要了如指掌，对于孩子不同层次的进步我们要给与及时的表扬和奖励让他们体会到成就感，以便激起他们更大的求知欲，让他们积极参与到教学活动中来，从而对英语学习投入更多的情感。
对于这个阶段学生的英语学习，既应该遵循语言学习的规律，又应该把握儿童的心理特点，使英语学习成为一种愉快的学习体验。
