本课时是对“birthday”话题教学下的拓展课。
学情分析学生已经通过前五个课时的学习，基本掌握了本单元的词汇和句型。

2．难点是January , February的发音和正确书写12个月份的简写形式。
教案背景
对于五年级学生来说，本单元学生正式学习12个月份名称，由于这些单词的学习有很大难度，再加上五年级学生对英语的了解较少，因此学习过程中很多学生感到很困难，这就要求在学习和操练时，要注意趣味性和简单性，使学生达到脱口而出的效果，从而为后面的学习打好基础。
教材分析
五年级上册的Recycle2 Let’s chant部分的歌谣，已为本单元这一教学内容做了铺垫，在一定程度上减轻了学生的学习难度。但因为12个月份的名称在同一课时中全部出现并要求听说认读，所以我注意了呈现方式的多样性和趣味性，避免一味的按序呈现、机械跟读。同时我考虑到了本单元的月份与前一单元的四季相辅相成，我可以采用以旧引新的方式，自然、流畅地引入新课。

能力目标
(1)能用When is your birthday?进行提问，并学会用My birthday is in…进行回答。
(2)能够理解Group work的内容并能按照要求完成游戏。
情感目标

MY BIRTHDAY教学反思
反思一：my birthday教学反思本节课讲解的是family birthday chart ，课前我复习了12个月的听、说、读、写，根据同学们的喜好出示了本班同学的照片，当我出示同学们的照片同时，让同学guess：when is ...s birthday? 同学们纷her irthday is in ...？或者是his birthday is in...?通过同学们的说，很自然的引入了本节课的主干句子的教学when is...s birthday? her/his birthday is in ... .我觉得最成功的的地方就是这里，学生们都很感兴趣自己和同学的生日，当猜对了，喜出望外，当猜错了，有一种越挫越勇的气势。
文本很自然就输出来了。
通过小组合作的方法，学生感悟到了合作的好处，相互帮助的益处，我特意设置了家有儿女的一家出现在我的课堂，学生们的热情又一次被调动起来了，纷纷讨论着他们的生日，有的同学还想到了夏雨过生日时的场面，我把课堂都完全交给了学生，顺势提出文本中的问题when is grandma’s birthday? whose birthday is in june?学生自己读书，找出问题的答案，然后分角色表演，学生的学习一点压力都没有的在学习，我比较不满意的地方时学生对人名的认读不好，尤其是aunt mary和 cousin alice及uncle bill的学习不好。
在以后的课我会加强人名认读的教学。
反思二：my birthday教学反思本节课是本单元的第一课时，教学内容是有关月份的单词和句型。
在本节课中，我注重激发学生的学习兴趣，使学生在情景中学习和运用语言，最后能用本节课所学的语言做事情，即调查同学的生日。
本节课的成功之处有以下几点：1、倡导自然、流畅的课堂教学过程在本节课上，通过重点把握复习、新知教学和拓展提高三个环节，面向全体学生，因材施教，关注学习过程。

《My birthday》教学反思凤城镇中心学校绿洲小学李晶晶本节课结束后，我对比备课时的教学目标与课堂的教学实施和效果，对本堂课的教学情况进行了课后反思。
教学反思一：用英语组织教学从本节课来说，我在课堂上尽量使用简单的英语组织教学。
无论课上时师生相互打招呼问候、道别，或是教师发指令让学生活动等，都用英语来说。
到目前为止，已有多数学生已经接受简单语句的说法，并逐步学会了其说法。
这样做有助于创造英语气氛，学生的学习积极性会更高，可以帮助学生通过英语直接理解教学内容的意思，养成用英语思维的习惯。
当然必要时也可适当的利用母语。
例如用英语难以理解的，较抽象的词句就可以用英语解释，以节省教学时间。
对于特殊的英语表达方式，也可作英语与母语对比，以加深理解，便于记忆。
教学反思二：鼓励鼓励是帮助初学者克服英语学习的良好方法。
而且任何鼓励都会使儿童感到高兴。
本节课我用的激励语言不够。
今后我应在课堂上大胆使用鼓励，可以鼓励全班，也可鼓励某一小组或某一学生。
学生在开展个人活动、小组活动时，可以到学生中间去，鼓励和帮助某一个学生、某两个学生、或某一组学生，以此带动学生，更好的深入课堂。
教学反思三：交际活动学习英语一个重要的目的是运用英语进行交际，两人之间的交际是活动的重要形式，因此，语言训练中应经常开展两人活动。
两人之间的对话活动是最常见的两人活动。
可以要求学生就某一话题、某一张图片、某一个人等进行一问一答形式的对话，也可要求学生开展一个发指令，另一个做的活动，还可以开展两人之间的讨论、辩论、商量等活动，小组形式乃至整个班级活动都可以，但是要有一定的范围，正如各位老师的评价反馈，我应该写出一些提示性的短语指引大家。
教学反思四：抓重点，促教学本节课内容冗杂，重难点不突出，复习导入时间过长，真正需要学习，展示的实践不够充分，教学目标没有很好的完成。
教学反思五：今后教学注意以下几点：1、坚持英语教学的实践性原则，改变过分重视语法和词汇知识的讲解与传授。

My Birthday Story学情分析学生的知识能力水平是学生达成目标的基础。
本课的教授对象是五年级学生，他们通过两年的英语学习,已经储备了一些英文词汇和重点句型，积累了一些英语学习的经验，能用简单的口语与他人进行交流，具备了一定英语思维的习惯和能力，对英语学习产生了浓厚的兴趣。
但少数学生对开口说英语信心不足，不敢开口说英语，学习效果差。
绝大部分学生的听说读写能力已经初步形成，这个阶段应该着重于培养全体学生的阅读能力和自主学习能力。
本节课是有关生日的，与学生的生活实际联系密切，学生更易与课文内容发生共鸣。
在授课时，我创设轻松、活泼的授课氛围，让全班同学都能参与其中。
首先，通过欢快的视频来活跃课堂气氛，既复习了本单元有关生日的词组，又引出本课主题，然后，采用互问互答的方式调动小学生情绪，并激活背景知识；在提高小学生的阅读水平活动中，我采用了略读、细读、观图设问、表演剧场、自制卡片等几个环节，设置由易及难的任务，每一小段后面都基于行为体验进行表演，学生在完成任务的过程中逐步加深对文本的理解，从而培养学生获取信息和处理信息的能力。
整堂课的教学，我都是基于行为体验创设真实的情景，帮助孩子们在亲身经历的过程中操练学到的语言，让知识点与“生活在线”相融合，使学生能在真实的语言环境中去学英语、用英语,真正提高孩子的语用能力，达到知行相应的目标。

通过这节课的学习,我认为学生顺利完成了本课的教学任务,达成了预定的教学目标,学习效果显著。
1、本课中我设计了watch and match，read in groups and answer, act it out,read and circle等环节。
从这些环节的完成效果,完成过程中学生的反应以及回答的准确性和流畅程度来看,学生能正确认读词汇,熟练朗读课文,知识点掌握扎实,能依托行为体验复述课文,课文内容理解较好,较好地完成了知识目标。
2、在Recite the passage.以及Let’s talk ：Talk about your birthday.等环节，学生能很好地进行谈论、交流以及展示生日聚会话题,能运用所学语言知识问答,具备了综合运用语言的能力,较好地完成了技能目标。
3、在观看Parties的环节以及观看沙画的环节中,同学们对中西方文化差异有所了解,并表达了自己爱母亲的情感,较好地达成了情感目标。
总之,这节课的各个环节齐全,学生在整个教学活动中,一直是教学的主体,体现了新课改的精神。
通过各活动的设计及练习，学生们课堂中精神状态投入,积极主动,整堂课的教学效果不错。
并且,我采用基于行为体验的“生活在线”策略教学,学生能够结合实际生活,达到了“用中学,学中用,学用结合,学以致用”的效果。
Unit 3 BirthdayTry yourself. My Birthday Story教材分析本节课的教学内容选自山东科技出版社《小学英语》五年级上册第三单元中的Try yourself。
本版块应是学生自主学习的板块，但是我考虑到话题与学生们的生活比较贴切，其中包含的情感教育比较好，所以就拿来当做绘本教授了。
通过本课的学习，我想让孩子们在行为体验的基础上多说、多练、勤思考，学习相关的阅读策略，在情感上帮助学生感知母爱的伟大，让学生体会被爱包容的幸福与快乐。
