20000 years ago, the earth was entering an ice age. All kinds of animals began moving to the south. During the migration（迁徙）, Sid, Manny and Diego met. They together protected a baby whose mother was swept away by the river. After a lot of difficulties, they successfully brought the baby to his father.
This is Peach, Manny and Ellie’s daughter. She likes trying new things and meeting new feelings. Sometimes she makes her parents feel helpless.

Sid is a kind sloth（树 懒） and is always happy. Not only that, he also makes the others fun. He is a typical comedy image.
Ellie
This is the female mammoth. Her name is Ellie. She is grace（优雅）, wisdom（智 慧）, kind, and justice（正义）. Because of being adopted by the possum（负鼠） family when little, at first, she totally believed that she is a real possum. Later, with the help of Manny, she gradually adapted the fact that she was a mammoth and fell in love with him. At last ,they had a pretty gril named Peach.
Scrat
“Ice Age 4" story, began with the squarrel hiding his pinecone, which caused the continental drift. Then the seven continents and four oceans appeared, leading Manny, Sid Diego to a new adventure, which make their journey home add more frenzy...
Everybody who has ever seen the film must be left deep impression by the squarrel（松 鼠）, Scrat. Maybe he has nothing to do during his lifetime but protecting his pinicone（松果）. In order to hide the pinecone, he even smashed through the crust, and caused the continental drift （大陆漂移）!

Diego
At first, sabre wulf（剑齿虎） Diego is irritable（易怒的） and cunning（狡猾的）. With time going by, he was totally changed by his friends. Finally, he became kind and considerate.
Manny, Sid and Diego returned in another incredible adventure. The Ice Age was coming to an end, and the animals were delighting in their new world, a melting paradise of water parks, geysers （间歇泉）and tar pits （焦油坑）. But when Manny, Sid and Diego discovered that the miles of melted ice will flood their valley, they decided to warn everyone and figure out a way to escape the coming disaster.

However they were dinosaur eggs! Tyrannosaurus Rex mom found them and took her baby and Sid away. So Manny, Ali and Diego went to save Sid. And on the way to forest they met weasel Buck . With the help of Buck ,they finally rescued Sid and defeated the forest overlord Rudy.
