Topic: Some people believe that children should learn to how to compete in their early years while others think that children should be taught to cooperate.(一)Nowhere in the world has the issue of competition and cooperation been so much debated as in our society. Nowadays, the competition is more and more furious between different groups, but many people think that parents teach competition to children that it will be bad for their growth, let them learn how to cooperate that is the most important. Above point is certainly true; this essay will outline three reasons. The main reason is that children' intellect is not enough capable to analyze right and wrong competition. If children do not have correct teaching, the competition easily leads children to a wrong way. For instance, children usually pay attention to match their clothing and toys; in fact, it is really worth competing thing that their study is being ignored.Another reason is that if children work together, they could easily find out and supply their gaps. Because of limit of age, in order to children's knowledge is limited so that they have the different strongpoint. When they work together, they can learn the merit from others, and quickly correct their mistakes.Last but not the least reason is the cooperation means common progress. A people's ability is limited, but group's power is unlimited. Lots of things are really difficult to complete by personal power. Nevertheless, people work together to solve problems that will become really easy and simple. Thus, it is important to let children get to know signification of cooperation. In conclusion, children ought to learn signification of cooperation and how to work together, in order to their better future.(二)I hold the opinion that children should learn to compete. As we all know, success is about competition learn is to compete at all early age will help children adapt to real world situations and deal with the challenges later on.For example, they will competer in the football match, swim, race and try to win. To succeed is the ultimate goal of any effort. As an old saying goes, competition and cooperation are twin brothers. It is difficult to say which one is more important. In modern society, students have to study hard for more chances to enter good schools, parents spur us to be more outstanding than others. Everyone is eager for success and a good life. However, students also need to cooperate with others because we will not study alone, work alone, or even spend our free time alone. If we don’t know how to cooperate with our classmates, our family members or other people, then we will not live happily. In a word, both competition and cooperation are common elements in our life and we'd better make good use of them.(三)In contemporary society, our world is becoming an intricate matrix of interdependent relationships, in which all individuals must depend on many others for their survival. Meanwhile, when it comes to whether children should acquire the ability to compete or cooperate, people hold different views. I fundamentally agree with the notion that children must know how to compete when they grow up and enter society. This point of view is elaborated below. It is manifest that, by learning to compete with other individuals, children can achieve more success in the future. The cases of this point of view are diverse. In the first place, competition is the essential driving force of each individual. Therefore, desire for excellence enhances our individuals’competitive impulse –that is to say, the heavier the pressure of competition, the greater the subsequent improvement a child can make. Furthermore, competition could enable him or her to find satisfactory jobs immediately upon graduation. More precisely, a strong sense of competition makes children more competent for certain jobs.On the other hand, I concede the notion that cooperation also plays a vital role in individuals’success. Indeed, children surely learn efficiently with their peers for the simple reason that learning is not a solitary activity but one that requires collaboration among people. Consequently, by learning to cooperate and communicate with other people, learners of all ages will benefit if they work frequently in groups. Yet, it is competition that is the major factor in children’s education because our world is full of competitions. Finally, we may conclude that colleges, universities and other educational institutions should enhance the sense of competition of students, since this practice is the best interest of individuals and our society as a whole. However, it is crucial for competitors to keep it in mind that the ultimate outcome of competition is also a self-improvement.(四)One of the problems which raises concerns among parents as well as educationalists these days is the question as to how to teach children in the best way. Various statements have been made, and one claim says that children should be taught to compete each other to encourage them to make every effort to study in a better way. This proves to be a piece of reasonable advice. The people who advocate the view mentioned earlier can justify their belief and the main argument can be that only with competitions can children try their best to study hard to catch up with their friends in school due to the fact that these children more often than not have a tendency to feel frustrated when they get lower scores than others. One more plausible explanation is that they will not be anxious or less confident when they have to face the big competitions in the future because they have been familiar with them since they are in school. There are, just the same, many believe that in order to make children become the useful adults in the future, they should be taught to cooperate rather than compete. And they can give the convincing arguments somehow, their strongest point is that these children will tend not to ignore their friends when they are in the midst of difficulties and furthermore try to help them solve those problems or to put it another way, they will not leave their partners back in the competition. Another view worth taking into account is that the children who work in supportive a way, for definite, as often as not do have many good friends so they may support each other to deal with any troubles and problems as well in their lives. All things considered, the answer to the question as to whether children should be taught to compete or cooperate depends on children 's character. I personally think that children should be led to be cooperating people to contribute more to the society.。

Fromthen on, they may start to struggle to be ideal wife and ideal husband. As for me, I expect my future husband to be responsible, reliable and diligent.C.However, it is not an easy thing for them to be an ideal wife or anideal husband. Like the people in the stories, they have to meet either difficulties which are unknown to all of us or exceptional set of circumstances calling for exercise of great courage and skill.D.Besides, it is the time that they begin to think for each other and giveunconditional love and care to each other. They have been relatives, not only lovers. Couples should look on each other as their partner and friend, rather than their dependent.A.Yes, that’s qu ite true. Little girls and boys are so childish. They mayregard beautiful appearance as the most important characteristic of ideal wife or ideal husband. But when they grow up, they may realize their mistakes. They all should have a strong sense of responsibility and endure hardships and failures.B.Year, for an ideal wife, firstly, she should be warm-hearted , intelligentand have some similar interests with her husband. While an ideal husband should be capable of supporting a family, it is basic element.C.E n…You are right. Look, I am interested by this passage.According to a recent research, many teachers who thought they were nonsexist were amazed to see how biased they appeared in class.C.En… let me see. They were shown to call on males in class far morethan on female students, this takes place even from nursery school to postgraduate course. Some people think it was not because teachers liked boys better, but because they think girls are afraid of losing face.D.Yes, as a matter of fact, the classroom is a man’s world, where boysget two-thirds of the teacher’s atte ntion even when they are in a minority. They are allowed to tease the girls and they receive praise for sloppy work that would not be tolerated from girls.A.Besides, the research also showed that sometimes teachersunknowingly prevented girls from participating as actively as boys in class by assigning them different takes in accordance with stereotyped gender roles. This may have a great impact on girls.B.I quite agree! Then it’s up to parents and teachers to work with the children to develop the thoughts into workable ideas.Experts say it’s important to create an atomosphere in whi ch there is no risk in being creative.B . They are always the focus of attention, we can watch their performance on TV or read about them in the newspapers. We can talk about them with our friends. Acturally, they have made a subtle influence on our decisions.C.I also have the same idea, most athletes are examples of good qualities. We can learn a lot from them, such as: being tough, strong willpower, self-confidence, a great sense of responsibility, In order to win and adjust ourselves to this increasingly competitive world,we need these qualities.D.Stop a minute, you have a positive mind. But we can see, someathletes, however, do not measure up to our expectations. There are many stories about the criminal activities of athletes, some even take advantages of stimulants or drug to win.A.Correctly, what is role model? What it means to people, especially tothose young people? They consider the successful athletes as superstars in mind, but now many athletes not accept the responsibility of being role models while they accept all the glory and the money. Sometimes they can inspire us by theircourage and determination when we are discouraged.C.So in my opinion, we should choose the better athletes as role models. At least athletes are public people we can benefit as much as we can from their good qualities.
