元宵节（Lantern Festival ）
The lantern festival, celebrated on the 15th of the first lunar month of Chinese Calender every year. It’s also known as lamp(灯节). On this day people will do many interesting activisities to celebrate it. For example,, A series of activities such as lion dancing lion dancing, dragon lantern dancing, lantern festivals(演社 火), guess lantern riddles(猜灯谜) and temple fairs(逛庙会) will be held for days.

There are three ideas about the Double Ninth day. Firstly it can be date back to pre-Qin period. Secondly, rituals of ancient sacrificial fire is the prototype of it. Lastly it is related to Mrs.Qi who is a wife of Liubang.

The Double ninth day is the traditional festival of China. It is also known as oldmen Day and Chrysanthemums [krɪˈsænθəməm] Day. On this day, people usually go hiking or walking in the countryside.
