八年级英语阅读竞赛方案

一、指导思想：

为提升广大学生学习英语的兴趣和热情，进一步打下坚实的英语基础, 提高英语综合能力，为爱好英语的学生提供展示的机会，特于第八周举行八年级英语阅读竞赛。

二．命题要求：全卷共100分，考试时间为1小时20分，试卷设置问卷和答卷，于第七周星期四前完成命题，并将电子稿发给文印室张健老师。

难易度：5:3:2

四、比赛时间和地点：

时间：第8周星期四18：00---19：20

地点：多媒体教室

（由各班英语教师负责通知、组织本班参赛学生于17:50到达多媒体室）

五、具体事项：

1、各科任教师择优选派部分学生参加年级竞赛。点班每班选派6名学生参赛，面班每班

选派2名学生参赛,火箭班每班选派20名学生参赛。共172名学生。（缺考以0分计算）

2、各班英语科任将参赛选手名单于第七周星期四前将参赛学生名单电子稿（含学生姓名

准考号辅导老师等）报备课组长汇总后将电子稿（按班级顺序）上传603办公室。

3.各科任老师应及早选定参赛对象，认真组织竞赛辅导，力求取得优异成绩。

六、竞赛奖励方法：

1、学生奖（按学校既定标准颁发奖状及奖品，设定奖励人数）

2、教师奖（按所教学生成绩平均分评奖）

一等奖：1人，200元

二等奖：2人，150元

三等奖：3人，100元

2014英语阅读竞赛总结

2014-2015学年第一学期白堡中学英语阅读比赛活动总结英（音）体组为了提高我校各年级学生学习英语的兴趣，提高学生英语阅读能力，让学生更加重视英语阅读的意义，加强英语阅读的意识，我校决定举行各年级英语阅读竞赛。一）活动收获本次竞赛试卷均选取了课外阅读材料，其中选词填空，补全对话，看图完成句子等不同题型，依据文章内容设计的练习题，主要考查学生的英语阅读理解能力（如概括句意，提炼重点词句，联系上下文理解语句等）。从竞赛情况看，参赛的大部分学生有良好的阅读习惯和理解能力，竞赛时能够做到静心读文，认真思考，答题思路清晰，表达流畅，个别学生思维活跃，想象丰富，答题有独到见解。但阅卷中也发现存在一些问题，在此提出几点建议，望在今后教学中加以注意： 1、习惯方面。一是静心阅读的习惯。有些学生不先通读文章，拿到题目就做，断章取义，造成答题的片面性。二是认真审题的习惯。有部分学生由于看不清题目要求而失分。因此，阅读习惯有待加强。 2、技巧方面。根据练习要求，联系上下文做出判断，从文章中迅速准确地捕捉和提取所需信息，是阅读中十分重要的技巧和能力。试卷中有些练习题，都可以用文中原句作答，但很多学生找不到或找不准而失分，因此要教给学生捕捉和提取有用的信息的方法技巧。 3、能力方面。一是联系上下文理解判断的能力，二是语言概括和语言表达能力，三是想象能力。从完卷情况看，这些能力不少学生还很欠缺，或判断有误，或概括不清，或表达不流畅，或想象不合理，这都需要教师在平时有意识地进行训练，提高学生英语阅读能力。通过这次比赛，不仅提高了学生学习英语的兴趣，而且培养了学生英语阅读的良好习惯，更开拓了学生学习英语的视野。让学生们意识到培养英语阅读的重要性，感受到学习英语的快乐，体验到英语学习的成功，进一步增强了学生自觉学习英语的意识。本次活动取得了良好的效果，在学生中激起了一轮英语学习尤
