Rules in school life——PEP6 Unit6 Part B Let’s learn【教材解读与学情分析】本课选自人教版PEP小学英语五年级下册,Unit6 Part B的Let’s learn部分,文本内容是关于校园规则(school rules),新授的目标语言是‘Keep to the right!’和‘Take turns!’。
教材将文本的情境设定在一节美术课上,通过本课的学习,学生能正确理解及运用文本里的规则及其对应的图标(signs)。
除了上述语言学习的目标,这节课还应考虑文本自身所承载的社会文化功能,在设计中增加学生的学习体验。
也就是说,学生不仅能关注到校园规则和图标的学习(学了什么),还应关注如何参与有效的学习活动(怎么学)、以及学习校园规则的重要性(为什么学),进而培养他们的合作意识、责任感和关心他人等方面的人文素养,这也恰恰与目前国家教育部强调的,培养学生的核心素养这一理念相契合。
我校五年级学生已经具备一定的语言容量和同伴合作能力。
而就本课而言,教材解读时必须首先考虑,如何将学生的真实学情与他们已有的相关旧知,进行有效的关联。
在前一课时,学生刚刚学习了部分校园规则:‘Work quietly! ’,‘Talk quietly!’和‘Keep your desk clean!’。
同时,学校政教处现阶段正在五年级和一年级之间,推行“大手拉小手”的行为规范帮扶活动。
因此,实际上我校五年级的学生对于这个话题并不陌生,甚至已有了相当程度的认知和语言上的积累。
在设计学习活动时,教师也充分考虑到了学习主体的适切性,故将本课的语言学习,与学校这一德育活动结合起来,从教材里的“一节美术课”,延伸到校园的不同场所里。
还需注意到,本单元A部分的核心语言是动词的现在进行时,如果把这部分旧知也滚动进来,刚好能用来演绎校园不同场合下,一幕幕“不文明行为”!这不仅能大大增强学习的趣味性,让学生参与到符合其自身经验的真实情境中,更利于学生对本节课核心语言的体验、理解与灵活运用。
