一般过去时的英语作文50字六年级全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Summer VacationLast summer was the best summer ever! School had just ended and I was so excited for the long break ahead. My parents promised we would go on an amazing trip this year. The first couple weeks, I just spent time hanging out with my friends. We would meet up at the park and play games like tag and hide and seek. When it got too hot outside, we'd go to the movies or hang out at each other's houses playing video games. My best friend Jake and I really got into this new game called Stellar Explorers. It was a space adventure game where you could build your own rocketship and travel to different planets. We spent hours trying to unlock all the different parts needed to create the coolest ship. Finally, it was time for our big family trip! My parents surprising us by saying we were going to Florida. I had never been there before. The morning we left, I could barely sleep from excitement and anticipation. We drove for what felt like forever, but I didn't mind because I was just so thrilled about our destination. When we arrived in Florida, the first place we went was the hotel right near the beach. I had seen beaches in movies, but walking up to the real thing that first time was breathtaking. The bright blue water seemed to stretch on forever, gently crashing against the soft white sand. I kicked off my shoes and let the warm grains run between my toes. That first day, we just relaxed on the beach, swimming, building sandcastles, and soaking up the sun.The next few days, we went to all the big theme parks and attractions. My favorite was easily Disney World. I felt like I had been transported into another world full of fairy tales and magic. We rode so many thrilling rides - from rollercoasters that looped upside down to simulated rocket ships that blasted off into space. I got to meet all the famous Disney characters like Mickey, Cinderella, and Buzz Lightyear. One of the highlights was the spectacular fireworks show they put on every night over the castle.Another fun place we went was Universal Studios. They had this amazing new Harry Potter themed area that made you feel like you were really at Hogwarts. The Forbidden Journey ridetook us soaring over the grounds of the wizarding school on broomsticks. There were also lots of cool shops and restaurants themed around the books and movies. My other favorite stop was the Kennedy Space Center. As someone who dreams of becoming an astronaut, this place was like a sacred temple to me. We got to tour the launch pads and control rooms where historic space missions were conducted. I even got to meet a real astronaut who had been to the International Space Station! He told me all about what it's like to live and work in outer space. I left feeling more inspired than ever to pursue that goal.Unfortunately, the vacation couldn't last forever and all too soon it was time to head back home. As we drove back, I stared out the window at the passing scenery, holding all the incredible memories in my mind. What had once felt like an endless summer had flown by in the blink of an eye. I knew I would never forget the experiences and the sights of this incredible trip. It gave me a whole new perspective and made me realize how big and wondrous the world really is. I vowed that when I grew up, I would travel and see as much of it as I possibly could. But for now, I was content to start preparing for the new school year and all the new adventures that would await me there.篇2My Exciting Summer VacationLast summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did a ton of cool things. It all started on the last day of school. I was so happy when the final bell rang because that meant no more homework or waking up early for three whole months! The first week of summer, my family just relaxed at home. We slept in late every morning and stayed in our pajamas until lunchtime. My little brother and I played lots of video games and watched cartoons. We also went swimming in our backyard pool almost every day since it was so hot outside. The next week, we went to visit our cousins who live on a farm a few hours away. I had forgotten how much fun it is there! We got to feed the chickens and collect the eggs from their coop. We also petted the friendly barn cats and horses. One day, we even went on a long hike through the woods and saw a family of deer! After visiting the farm, we took a road trip to the beach for a week. We stayed in a big beach house right by the ocean. Every morning, my brother and I would run down to the beach andplay in the waves for hours. We also went fishing off the pier and caught a bunch of small fish which we tossed back into the water. My favorite part was learning how to boogie board - I wiped out a few times but eventually got the hang of it!One night, we had a big bonfire on the beach and roasted marshmallows. We told spooky ghost stories and looked at all the bright stars in the night sky. Another night, we went mini golfing at this really cool glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course shaped like a pirate ship! It was so much fun trying to putt through all the obstacles in the dark. After our beach vacation, we visited my grandparents who live on a lake house a few states away. We went tubing and knee boarding behind their boat which was a blast! One day, we rented jet skis and took turns driving them around the lake - that was probably the most fun water activity we did all summer. We also went fishing a couple times off my grandpa's dock and actually caught some big bass and trout which we had for dinner one night. My brother was so grossed out when my grandpa showed us how to gut and clean the fish, but I thought it was cool to learn. In the evenings after dinner, we would have big bonfires in my grandparents' backyard overlooking the lake and makes'mores. We would stay up late playing board games and card games as a family. Before bed every night, we sat out on the dock and watched for shooting stars. I saw a couple which was awesome!Towards the end of the summer, we went camping for a few days at a national forest nearby. We hiked part of the Appalachian Trail one day which was really tiring but had some amazing views! That night, we cooked our dinner over the campfire and told camp stories. I fell asleep easily in our tent listening to the crickets and coyotes howling in the distance. On our last day of camping, we went whitewater rafting down a river which was so exhilarating! The rapids were intense and our raft bounced up and down like crazy - luckily none of us fell out. After that adventure, it was time to head back home and get ready for the new school year. The night before school started, I was feeling a little sad that summer was over. But I reminded myself what an epic andfun-filled few months it had been. We did so many cool outdoorsy things that I'll never forget. I can't wait to make more awesome summer memories next year!篇3Last summer was the best summer ever! It started off with me being really excited because my family and I were going on a big trip to Disney World in Florida. We had been planning and saving up for the trip for over a year.A few days before we left, my mom took my sister and me shopping to get some new clothes and souvenirs for the trip. I got a really cool Disney t-shirt with Mickey Mouse on it. I was so excited to wear it at the parks! Finally, the day came for us to leave on our trip. We woke up super early to go to the airport. I had never been on a plane before, so I was a little nervous but also really eager to experience it. The plane ride was about 3 hours long. I watched a movie and played games on the little screen on the back of the seat in front of me. Before I knew it, we were landing in sunny Orlando! As soon as we got to our hotel room, we quickly dropped off our bags and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom park. It was so amazing seeing Cinderella's castle in real life! The whole park was decorated so beautifully and there were tons of fun rides and characters walking around. We rode classics like It's A Small World, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and the Haunted Mansion. My favorite though was Space Mountain - it was a super fast indoor roller coaster and I had so much fun on it.The next day, we went to Epcot. This park was all about celebrating different cultures and countries around the world. We got to walk through replica buildings and try delicious foods from places like Mexico, Japan, Morocco, and more. I loved tasting all the different snacks and dishes. We also got to watch some really cool shows and street performances throughout the day.One of the highlights was getting to meet loads of Disney characters and get their autographs. I was so starstruck meeting Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and all the princesses. They were so nice and gave great big hugs!At the end of the night, we would stay at the parks until they closed to watch the fireworks shows over the castles. The fireworks were absolutely breathtaking and magical. Bright colors would light up the sky as classic Disney songs played in the background. The whole experience was pure magic. We also spent a day at the animal parks like Animal Kingdom and Disney's Blizzard Beach waterpark. At Animal Kingdom, we went on a simulated safari ride and saw live animals like lions, elephants, and giraffes up close. Blizzard Beach had awesomewater slides and a whole section to relax under palm trees. We cooled off from the hot Florida sun by splashing around all day.On our very last day, we did some souvenir shopping and picked up gifts for friends and family back home. I got a stuffed Pluto dog and Aladdin lamp as my special souvenirs to remember the trip forever.Saying goodbye to Disney was really hard, but we had so many wonderful memories that would last a lifetime. From meeting my favorite characters to experiencing thrilling rides and fireworks shows, it was a dream vacation. I was so grateful my parents saved up and made this amazing trip happen for us. It's a summer I'll never forget!篇4My School Field TripLast month, our 6th grade class went on a really fun field trip! We had been studying about the Revolutionary War in our history class, so our teachers planned a trip to visit some historical sites from that era. I was super excited because I love learning about history. The day before the trip, my mom helped me pack a bagged lunch, some snacks, and a reusable water bottle to bring. I could hardly sleep that night because I was so eager for the adventure. Finally, the morning arrived and I hopped on the bus bright and early with my classmates. Our first stop was the Betsy Ross House in Philadelphia. Betsy Ross was the seamstress who sewed the first American flag back in 1776. We got to go inside her little house and see the upstairs bedrooms where she lived with her husband and kids. Downstairs, there was a tour guide dressed up like Betsy herself! She showed us the tiny parlor room where Betsy ran her upholstery business and sewed the first flag. I tried to imagine what it must have been like for her nearly 250 years ago. After the Betsy Ross House, we walked over to Franklin Square which is one of the five original public squares laid out by William Penn when he founded Philadelphia. There were lots of fun carnival games and activities set up just for our field trip group. I won a little stuffed liberty bell playing skee ball. My friend Sam and I raced each other through a life-sized game of Chutes and Ladders. He beat me, but it was still super fun!Next, we reboarded the buses and drove to Valley Forge National Historical Park. This was the site of the ContinentalArmy's camp during the brutal winter of 1777-1778. Our teacher had prepped us all about the horrific conditions the soldiers faced that winter - not enough food, supplies, clothing or shelter. Thousands of men died from disease, malnutrition and exposure to the cold.At Valley Forge, we hiked part of the Joseph Plumb Martin Trail and saw the reconstructed log cabins that provided a glimpse into the rustic shelters the soldiers lived in back then. We even encountered some re-enactors along the trail portraying Revolutionary soldiers going about their camp duties. One man was cooking a stew over an open fire just like soldiers would have done. The smoky smell made my stomach growl! I was glad I had snacks to munch on.Our last destination was the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia. This was probably my favorite part because there were so many awesome artifacts and interactive exhibits. We saw weapons, clothing, and all kinds of objects actually used by soldiers and patriots during the war. One of the coolest things was the medieval toilets - yes, you read that right! Back in those days, they called them "necessaries" and wealthy families had to have them inside their homes. I don't know how people survived using those scary-looking contraptions! We also got to experience the brilliant "Lights of Freedom" show. It combined lights, sounds, and digital projection mapping to immerse us in the epic battles of the American Revolution. Smoke filled the theater as we witnessed the bombardment of Quebec, and our seats rumbled during the intense exchange of cannon fire. It felt like we had traveled back in time and were right there on the battlefields. So incredible! On the bus ride back to school, I was completely tuckered out but full of newfound knowledge about this pivotal era of American history. My favorite founders were John Adams and Benjamin Franklin - two super smart and determined patriots who played huge roles in our nation's independence. Maybe someday I'll grow up to be a historian who studies the Revolutionary War. This field trip definitely inspired me to keep learning as much as I can about the amazing people and events that gave us the liberties we enjoy today. What an awesome experience!篇5My Sixth Grade YearLast year was my sixth grade year in elementary school. It was a big year for me with many new experiences and challenges. At the beginning of the school year, I was really nervous. Sixth grade seemed so grown up compared to the younger grades. I worried that the work would be too hard and that I wouldn't make any friends.Luckily, my fears went away pretty quickly. On the first day, I met Jessica who lives down the street from me. We clicked right away over our love of reading and anime. Jessica introduced me to her friend group and just like that, I had an awesome group of friends to hang out with. The schoolwork itself was challenging at first, but not impossible. Math with fractions and algebra concepts was the hardest for me. I spent a lot of time after school working on math homework and getting help from my parents. English class was my favorite because I loved the novel studies and creative writing assignments.About halfway through the year, our class went on a big field trip to an outdoor education camp for a whole week. We learned about nature, hiked in the woods, canoeed on the lake, and did fun team building activities. Being away from home was hard, but I made so many great memories with my friends. We stayed up late whispering and giggling after lights out. I'll never forget that week of camp. When we came back from the trip, the countdown was on for the end of elementary school. There was a lot of excitement and anxiety about moving on to middle school next year. Would I still have my friends? What would the bigger school be like? So many questions! To get us ready, we had tours of the middle school and meetings about scheduling classes for 7th grade. We also had a special 6th grade graduation ceremony at the end of the year. I got to dress up and walk across the stage to get my graduation certificate. My parents were so proud of me.After the ceremony, we had an awesome 6th grade party to celebrate making it through elementary school. We played games, ate pizza, signed each other's yearbooks, and watched a slideshow looking back at all our school years together. It was really bittersweet saying goodbye to teachers I had since kindergarten. Elementary school had been my life for so long and now it was over. When I look back on 6th grade, I have so many good memories. I matured a lot that year and became way moreresponsible and independent. I made incredible friends who liked me for who I am. I discovered interests like reading, writing, art, and tennis that I'm still passionate about today. While it was hard at times, 6th grade prepared me well for middle school and life beyond elementary school.Overall, my 6th grade year was one I'll never forget. It marked the end of an era but also an exciting new beginning. I'll always cherish the experiences, growth, and friends I made that year.篇6My Summer Vacation AdventureLast summer was the best summer ever! I went on an amazing adventure with my family that I'll never forget. It all started a few weeks before school got out. My parents sat me and my little brother down and told us we were going on a big road trip. I was so excited! We were going to drive across the country to see the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. My dad spent weeks planning our route and all the cool places we would stop along the way. He made us road trip bingo cards to keep us entertained in the car. My mom packed so manysnacks and activities to keep us from getting bored. Finally, the last day of school arrived and we were ready to hit the road! The first couple days were just driving, driving, driving. But my brother and I didn't mind too much because we loved blasting our favorite music and playing road trip games. We stopped at weird roadside attractions like the World's Largest Twine Ball and the Biggest Bucket of Dinosaur Nuggets. We also got to swim in some hotel pools which was awesome. After a few days, we made it to our first big destination - Mount Rushmore! Seeing the huge carved president heads up close was even cooler than in pictures. We went on a hiking trail and learned all about how the monument was built. My cheeks hurt from smiling in all our funny family photos. From there, we drove through some beautiful green hills and stopped at Wall Drug, a totally wacky highway pit stop. You could spend hours just wandering around looking at all the goofy signs and stores. We ate hot donuts and banana bread that melted in our mouths. Finally, we reached the Rocky Mountains in Colorado! I had never seen real mountains before and they were even bigger and more incredible than I imagined. We stayed in a cabin right in the heart of the Rockies for a whole week. Every day we went onawesome hikes to see rushing waterfalls, sparkling lakes, and incredible views. One morning, we woke up super early to watch the sunrise over the mountains. The colors were breathtaking - vibrant pinks, oranges and purples painted across the rocky peaks. Sitting there cuddled in a warm blanket with my family was pure magic. We also went whitewater rafting one day which was a huge adrenaline rush. Our guide told corny jokes the whole time but it was still the coolest thing I've ever done. We got totally drenched from the splashing rapids and laughed our heads off.Another day, we took a jeep tour up an old mining road. Our jeep bumped over massive boulders as our guide told tales of the gold rush days. At the top, we could see for miles and miles across the sweeping, majestic Rockies. I felt so small but in a good way - like I was connected to something bigger than myself. On our last night in Colorado, we had a cowboy cookout in a meadow at sunset. We line danced around the campfire, made s'mores, and stargazed as the inky sky came alive with more stars than I knew existed. It was the perfect ending to our western adventure. The drive home felt so fast after our epic trip. We played car games and listened to playlists of our favorite new songs and podcasts. We tallied up our snack scores and joked about the hilarious inside jokes we had made along the way. Those two weeks went by in a blink but gave me memories to last a lifetime. I know I'm really lucky to have parents who value experiences over things and want me to see the world. This trip grew my curiosity about different cultures and landscapes. It opened my eyes to the beauty that's out there if you go looking for it.Most of all, it gave me dedicated quality time with my family. We grew closer from being cooped up in the car for so many hours, suffering the same discomforts but sharing the same thrills. I came home with an overflowing heart, recharged from soaking in Mother Nature with my favorite people by my side. This trip was one for the books and I'm already dreaming of our next big adventure!。

小升初英语过去式模板作文My Experience of Using the Past Tense in English Composition for the Entrance Examination to Junior High School。

As a primary school student, I have been learning English for several years. In order to prepare for the entrance examination to junior high school, I have been working hard to improve my English skills, especially in writing. One of the most important aspects of writing in English is the use of the past tense. In this article, I would like to share my experience of using the past tense in English composition for the entrance examination to junior high school.First of all, I have learned that the past tense is used to describe actions that have already happened. In English, there are several different forms of the past tense, including the simple past tense, the past continuous tense, the past perfect tense, and the past perfect continuous tense. Each form has its own rules and usage, and I have been practicing using them in my writing. For example, when using the simple past tense, I have learned to add "-ed" to regular verbs to indicate that the action has already happened. For irregular verbs, I have memorized their past tense forms and used them correctly in my compositions. In addition, I have also learned to use time expressions such as "yesterday," "last week," and "two days ago" to indicate when the action took place.Furthermore, I have practiced using the past continuous tense to describe actions that were happening at a specific point in the past. I have learned to use the past continuous tense to show that an action was in progress at a certain time in the past, and I have also learned to use time expressions such as "at 3 o'clock yesterday" and "while I was studying" to indicate the duration of the action. Moreover, I have studied the past perfect tense, which is used to show that one action happened before another action in the past. I have learned to use the past perfect tense todescribe the sequence of events in the past, and I have practiced using time expressions such as "before," "after," and "by the time" to indicate the order of the actions. Finally, I have familiarized myself with the past perfect continuous tense, which is used to show that an action started in the past and continued up to a certain point in the past. I have learned to use the past perfect continuous tense to describe the duration of an action before another action in the past, and I have practiced using time expressions such as "for two hours" and "since last year" to indicate the length of time the action had been happening. In conclusion, my experience of using the past tense in English composition for the entrance examination to junior high school has been challenging but rewarding. I have learned the rules and usage of the different forms of the past tense, and I have practiced using them in my writing. I believe that my improved understanding and application of the past tense will help me to write better compositions and achieve success in the entrance examination. I am confident that I will be able to demonstrate my English writing skills effectively and impress the examiners with my use of the past tense. I am looking forward to the opportunity to showcase my abilities and pursue further studies in junior high school. Thank you for reading about my experience, and I hope that it has been informative and insightful.。

有关于一般过去时的英语作文(六年级)全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1The Past Tense: Where Did the Time Go?English can be a really tricky language sometimes, don't you think? There are so many little rules and exceptions that we have to remember. But one of the most important things we need to learn is how to talk about the past. That's what the past tense is all about! The past tense is a special verb form that tells us an action or event happened before now. It's kind of like a time machine for words. Instead of just saying "I play soccer," we can use the past tense to say "I played soccer" and everyone knows we're talking about something that already happened. There are a few different ways to make the past tense in English. The first way is what we call the "regular" past tense. For most verbs, we just add -ed to the end. Like:I walked to school this morning. She danced at the recital last night. They planted a garden yesterday.See how walked, danced, and planted have that -ed ending? That's the regular past tense right there! But of course, English likes to keep us on our toes with some irregular verbs too. These are verbs where the past tense doesn't just add -ed. The past tense is a totally different word! Here are some examples:I ran around the park. (Not I runned!)She wrote a story last week. (Not she writed!)They went to the movies. (Not they goed!)Crazy, right? We just have to memorize these irregular ones along the way.Another past tense form you might see is the past participle. This gets used to talk about things that had already happened before something else. Let's say I missed the bus this morning. I could say:"I had missed the bus, so I had to walk to school."You see? I used "had missed" to show that missing the bus happened before the walking to school part. The past participleis made by adding -ed to regular verbs (like "missed") or using irregular forms (like "had gone" instead of "had goed.")Using the right past tense verbs is so important for telling clear stories about the past. Like if I said:"I am going to the park yesterday and play on the swings."That just sounds wrong, doesn't it? I should say:"I went to the park yesterday and played on the swings."See how using "went" and "played" in the past tense makes it obvious I'm talking about something that already happened? Using the present tense verbs "am going" and "play" doesn't work for past events. The past tense can also help us understand when one event happened before another one. Like if I said:"After I finished my homework, I played video games."You know that me finishing the homework had to happen first, since I used the past tense "finished" and then "played" after that.I have to work really hard on learning all the past tense forms and rules. But it's important because it allows me to share my experiences and tell stories about the past clearly. Like how lastsummer, I went to camp and learned archery. Or how I baked a cake for my mom's birthday and accidentally used salt instead of sugar! Oops!Without the past tense, it would be so hard to talk about those events in the right order and make sense. That's why I'm determined to keep practicing my past tense verbs. Because telling interesting stories about the past is a huge part of really learning English well.I still have a lot more to learn when it comes to the past tense and all its forms. But I'm making progress every day. If you see me on the playground and I say "I goed to the movies last night," you'll know I need to work on my irregular verbs some more! But at least you'll understand that I'm talking about an event that already happened. Thanks to the mighty past tense, of course!篇2My English Writing on the Past TenseHi everyone! Today I'm going to write about something super important in English - the past tense! We use it to talk about things that already happened. Get ready because this is going to be a long essay all about the past tense!First, we need to learn the regular past tense verbs. These are the ones where you just add -ed to make them past tense. Like:Play - playedWalk - walkedListen - listenedSuper easy, right? You just tack that -ed on the end and bam - it's in the past tense! For words that end in -e, you only add a -d. Like:Smile - smiledWave - wavedThose regular past tense verbs are pretty straightforward. But of course, English has to make things tricky with the irregular past tense verbs. These are the ones you just have to memorize because they don't follow any pattern. Some examples are:Go - wentSee - sawRun - ranEat - ateYeah, those are weird. They don't add -ed or anything, they're just totally different words! You gotta put in the work to memorize all the irregular ones.Okay, now that we know the different types of past tense verbs, how do we actually use them? Well, we use past tense to talk about things that happened before now. Like if I want to tell you what I did yesterday, I would say:"Yesterday, I played basketball after school. I scored two points!"Or if I'm telling a story about when I was little, I might say:"When I was five years old, I went to Disneyland with my family. I saw Mickey Mouse and it was so cool!"See how I used the past tense verbs played, scored, went, and saw? That's because I'm talking about stuff that already happened in the past.We can also use past tense to tell jokes or riddles! Like:"A monk fell off his bike once. Why? Because the chain broke!"Get it? Chain broke is past tense because the action of the chain breaking already occurred in the little story.Sometimes we need to make negative statements in the past tense too. That just means saying what didn't happen. To do that, we use didn't + the verb. Like:"I didn't go to soccer practice yesterday because I was sick.""She didn't call me last night like she promised."And for questions in the past tense, we switch around the subject and verb. So instead of:"You played video games?"We ask it like:"Did you play video games last night?"By putting the "did" first, it turns it into a past tense question! There's also the present perfect tense, which is like a mix of past and present. We use that when we're talking about an action in the past, but it's still kind of connected to now. Make sense?Like if I say "I have played soccer," that means I played soccer in the past, but I'm still a soccer player in the present. To form present perfect tense, we use have/has + the past participle of the verb. Past participles are ones that end in -ed (for regular verbs) or have a third form (for irregular ones). For example:I have played soccer (play - played - played)You have gone to the park (go - went - gone)See? Have/has + that -ed ending or irregular third form.Wow, that's a lot of stuff about the past tense! This is super important in English because we use it, like, basically all the time when talking about stuff that already happened.Just practice using different past tense verbs when you're telling stories or talking about your day. Soon it will be simple to switch between present tense: "I play soccer" and past tense: "I played soccer last weekend."With time and repetition, all those irregular past tense ones will get burned into your brain too. You got this! The past tense is just one of those key building blocks you gotta master to really speak and write good English. So study up and keep working on it. Before you know it, you'll be zipping through past tense like a total pro!Alrighty, I think that's enough out of me for today's essay. Thanks for reading, and happy learning!篇3My Amazing Summer VacationLast summer was the best summer ever! I had so much fun and did a lot of cool things. It all started at the end of the school year. I was so excited for summer vacation to begin. On the last day of school, my teacher Ms. Johnson gave us our final assignments. I worked really hard to finish all my homework that day because I didn't want anything getting in the way of my summer fun. When I got home from school that day, my mom surprised me with the news that we were going to go on a big road trip! She said we were going to drive across the country to California to visit my aunt, uncle and cousins. I was really excited because I had never been to California before. The next day, we all piled into our car and started driving west. My little brother and I fought a few times about silly things like who got to control the radio or pick the next movie to watch. But my parents just laughed it off. They were used to us bickering on long car rides. After driving for what felt like forever, we finally made it to California five days later. I was so happy to get out of the car and stretch my legs. My aunt and uncle live in this really cool city called San Diego right near the beach. As soon as we got to their house, my cousins took me down to the beach so we could go swimming in the ocean. The water was freezing cold at first, but after a while it felt refreshing. We spent the next week hanging out at the beach pretty much every day. We went boogie boarding and built awesome sand castles. My cousins taught me how to surf too! It was really hard at first and I fell off my board a lot. But eventually I got the hang of it and could ride some small waves. One day we went on a really cool boat tour of the San Diego harbor. We got to see huge naval ships, as well as lots of sea lions just lounging on the rocks. The sea lions were so funny and goofy looking! At one point, the tour guide let me steer the boat for a few minutes. It was awesome.Another day, we visited the world-famous San Diego Zoo. I had been to our local zoo back home before, but the San Diego Zoo was unlike anything I had ever seen. It was so huge and they had every type of animal you could imagine. My favorite wasdefinitely the giant pandas. They were just lazily munching on bamboo and didn't have a care in the world.Towards the end of our trip, we drove up the Pacific Coast to Los Angeles. My uncle took us on a tour of Hollywood. We got to walk along the Hollywood Walk of Fame and see all the stars on the sidewalk with celebrities' names on them. We also went to the TCL Chinese Theatre and got to see the handprints and footprints of famous actors in the cement. That was pretty neat.On our last day in California, my parents surprised me again by taking me to Disneyland! I had been begging them to take me to Disneyland for years. We spent the entire day riding thrilling rollercoasters and meeting Disney characters. It was a dream come true. By the time we left the park that night, I was completely exhausted but incredibly happy. The drive back home across the country seemed to go by faster. I spent most of the time reminiscing about the amazing vacation we had just experienced. I made so many incredible memories that I will never forget. Getting to see the Pacific Ocean and swim in it was really cool. Learning how to surf was definitely a highlight. And of course, going to Disneyland was magical. When we finally made it back home, I was kind of sad that the trip was over. But I was also excited to tell all my friends about the awesome adventures I had been on. I couldn't wait to go back to school and write about what I did that summer. This was a vacation I would remember forever. So while it's fun to make plans and look ahead, it's also important to take time and appreciate the amazing experiences you've already had. The memories you make on trips and during events become some of the most special moments of your life. That's why I always take the time to look back and be grateful for the incredible adventures, big and small, that I've been lucky enough to experience.篇4My Life Story (So Far!)Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 11 years old. I'm in the 6th grade now, about to start middle school next year. Wow, I can't believe how quickly time has flown by! It feels like just yesterday I was a tiny little kid. A lot has happened in my life so far, so I thought I'd tell you all about it.I was born on May 18th, 2012 in a city called Portland. That's in the state of Oregon, which is on the west coast of the UnitedStates. My parents' names are Jessica and Michael. I'm an only child, but I've always wished I had a brother or sister. My parents say I kept begging them for a sibling when I was really little! Some of my very first memories are from when I was 3 years old. We lived in a small yellow house back then. I remember I had a big fuzzy stuffed bear named Teddy that I took everywhere with me. He was my best friend! I also loved watching movies like Finding Nemo and The Lion King over and over again. When I turned 4, a huge thing happened - I started going to preschool! I was so nervous on my first day. I remember holding my mom's hand tightly and not wanting her to leave. But I made friends pretty quickly and ended up loving preschool. We got to sing songs, do crafts, and play on the playground every day. So much fun! After preschool, I went to a different school for kindergarten the next year. I had a really nice teacher named Mrs. Franklin. She helped me learn how to read and write. Kindergarten is when I first remember really enjoying school and learning new things.First grade was also a great year. One of the highlights was when we went on a field trip to a farm and got to pet animals like cows, pigs, and baby chicks. At recess, I loved playing on the big toy structure that had swings, monkey bars, and a slide. Myfriend Lily and I would race each other to the top almost every day.The summer after first grade, my family went on an amazing vacation to Hawaii! We stayed in a hotel right on the beach in an area called Waikiki. I had never seen an ocean before, so I was in total awe. We went swimming, built sandcastles, and I even took a surfing lesson. We also went on a tour to see volcanoes and waterfalls. It was the trip of a lifetime! In second grade, I started taking dance classes after school. I loved learning all the different styles like ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. Dancing allowed me to express myself and make even more new friends. To this day, it's still one of my favorite hobbies.Third grade is when I really started to get serious about school. I distinctly remember working so hard to improve my writing skills that year. We had to write persuasive essays, short stories, poems, and more. Looking back, third grade is probably when I first discovered my love for reading and creative writing. The summer before fourth grade, my parents finally gave me my first pet after years of begging! We adopted the cutest little puppy named Daisy from an animal shelter. Having a dog was a huge responsibility with feeding her, walking her, and cleaning up after her. But it was all worth it because she brought me somuch joy and companionship. Daisy is still my furry best friend to this day.In fourth grade, my class took a field trip to the state capital where we got to learn all about how laws are made. We even met the governor! That same year, I decided to run for student council and ended up getting elected as treasurer. It felt amazing to have a leadership role in my school.Fifth grade was definitely one of my most memorable years so far. Our big event that year was putting on a performance of the play "Annie." I played one of the orphans and had a solo singing part. It was so nerve-wracking but exhilarating to be up on stage in front of so many people. After months of rehearsals, the show was a huge success! So that's my story up until now - the first 11 years of my life! From starting school, to amazing vacations, to joining activities like dance and student council, it's been quite the adventure. I've learned and grown so much, but I know there's still so much more to come.Middle school is right around the corner, with all sorts of new challenges and opportunities ahead of me. I'll be taking more advanced classes, joining new clubs, and getting closer to becoming a teenager. While I'm nervous for what's next, I'm alsoreally excited. After everything I've been through and accomplished so far, I know I can take it all on.I hope you enjoyed hearing a little bit about my life story up to this point. Even though I'm still just a kid, I've done a lot and made so many incredible memories already. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me. Whatever it is, I'll be sure to make the most of every moment!篇5My Life in the Past Simple TenseHi there! I'm going to tell you all about my life, but I'm going to use the past simple tense. That means I'll be talking about things that happened before, using verbs like "went", "saw", "did" and so on. Get ready for a trip down memory lane! When I was really little, maybe 3 or 4 years old, I lived in a small house with my mom, dad, and older sister Jessie. We had a big backyard where I played a lot. I remember I loved digging in the dirt and making mud pies. My parents bought me a cute little play kitchen one year for my birthday, and I spent hours "cooking" mud patties and leaves. My sister and I got along pretty well when we were little. We shared a bedroom and she helped me learn to read before I evenstarted school. On weekends, we watched a lot of cartoons together like Spongebob and The Fairly Odd Parents. Our favorite was Avatar: The Last Airbender though! When I turned 5, I started going to kindergarten. I was really nervous on my first day, but I made a friend named Emma during circle time. Emma and I did everything together back then – we colored pictures, played on the playground, and ate snacks side-by-side. My teacher's name was Mrs. Robertson and she was really nice. She read us stories every day after nap time. After kindergarten, I went on to 1st grade. That's when I learned to read and write for real. It was hard at first, but my mom and dad worked with me every night. They bought me little books about animals and helped me sound out the words. Pretty soon, I could read easy books all by myself! Math was harder for me, but I worked really hard and eventually got better at adding and subtracting. One of my favorite memories from 1st grade was our class pet. Our teacher adopted a guinea pig from a local pet store and we all took turns feeding it and cleaning its cage. I named him Teddy and loved petting his soft fur. On weekends, one of the students got to take Teddy home as a temporary class pet. I wasso excited when it was finally my turn! Teddy stayed at my house for a whole week and I played with him constantly. In 2nd grade, I joined a daisy scout troop with some of my friends from school. We went on cool field trips and did badge activities. I earned my first few badges that year – one foretting, one for making my own snacks, and one for planting flowers. My mom was one of the scout leaders, so she came with us everywhere we went. It was really fun getting to do special activities with my mom there.3rd grade is when I took up a new hobby – playing the violin! My older sister had been taking violin lessons for years, and I thought it looked really cool. So for my 8th birthday, my parents signed me up for lessons too. It was super hard at first and my arms got really tired from holding up the violin. But my teacher was patient and helped me practice every week. After a while, I started to get the hang of it! My first recital was prettynerve-wracking but I played my song perfectly. The summer after 3rd grade, my family took an awesome vacation to California. We drove all the way from our house in Ohio – it took almost two full days in the car! In California, we went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, the San Diego Zoo, and even the beach. My favorite was definitely Disneyland though. Ihad been dreaming of going there ever since I was a tiny kid watching Disney movies. It felt like walking into a fairytale when we entered the park! I went on tons of rides like Splash Mountain, the Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain. We also met tons of Disney characters and I got their autographs in a special book.4th grade was the year I finally convinced my parents to let me get a pet. We adopted the cutest little puppy from the animal shelter – a beagle mix named Daisy. I had been bugging them for a dog for ages, so I was incredibly excited! Daisy was full of energy and loved playing fetch in the backyard with me after school. She was pretty naughty sometimes too though, like when she chewed up my dad's favorite slippers. But I loved her to pieces anyway. In 5th grade, my dad got a new job in Texas so our whole family had to move there over the summer. It was really sad having to leave my friends and say goodbye to my old house where I had lived my whole life. The hardest part was leaving my grandparents, who lived in the same town as us in Ohio. I cried so much when we moved away from them! But starting at a brand new school in Texas ended up being a lot of fun. On my very first day of 5th grade, I met my new best friends Hannah and Sophie. We had so much in common – we allloved reading, swimming, and telling jokes to make each other laugh. Hannah, Sophie and I created our own secret club and gave it a name: The Sunshine Squad! We made up a special handshake and everything. We did tons of fun things together that year like having sleepovers, taking our bikes to the park, and going to the pool almost every weekend in the summer. One time, Hannah's mom even took us to get mani-pedis and made us feel like fancy grown-ups. The three of us joined the school choir too, so we got to sing and perform together in concerts. That's a look at some of the biggest moments from my life so far – all told using the past simple tense! Of course there's still so much more to come in middle school, high school, and beyond. But those were some of the highlights from my earliest years. I had a pretty great childhood filled with friends, family, new experiences and lots of fun memories. Even though those times have passed, I'll never forget them!。
