Today, most people are very busy because of long hours’ work, so fast food becomes their first choice most of the time. These might be the food with high calories and sugar, like hamburgers, fried food and soft drinks. We also see them as junk food.
Our bodies will make a special chemical (化学物质) when we eat junk food. It can make us feel good. But it doesn’t go long. About an hour later, we feel tired and hungry again. Some people solve this by having more junk food. The same things will happen the next day and never end. These eating habits can bring serious health problems. We may start having problems with our sleep. And we may not remember things well. Doctors tell us to eat less junk food. However, when we feel better, it’s easy to forget doctors’ advice.
Changing our habits is difficult, but we can try it. If we want some chocolate, have a little. Choose black one—it has less sugar. If you usually go to fast food restaurants, cook the week’s meals on weekends instead and keep them in your fridge. Then, even if you are busy, you can still have a healthy meal.

They spend about 75% of their time sleeping every day! As you get older, you need less sleep. Children need about eleven hours and adults sleep for eight hours every night.
So, yes, you spend many hours a year doing nothing-sleeping in bed!
But you’re not just asleep-you’re not really doing nothing. Your body and your mind relax during this time, but a lot of things happen during sleep. Dreams are one way that the mind relaxes after a busy day. A person spends about 20% of every night dreaming. That means yo have about four or five dreams every night or about 1,600 dreams a year.
