Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor to be standing before you today to share some words of inspiration. As a famous individual, I have encountered my fair share of challenges, and I have learned the importance of perseverance, determination, and a positive attitude. I hope that my experiences and words of wisdom can inspire each and every one of you to reach for your dreams, no matter how big or small they may be.When I was growing up, I faced many obstacles and setbacks. I came from a humble background, and I had to work hard to achieve success. There were times when I felt discouraged and wanted to give up, but I refused to let those feelings define me. Instead, I chose to focus on my goals and to push myself to achieve them. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that failure is not the end, but rather a stepping stone to success. Each time I faced a setback, I used it as an opportunity to learn and grow. I refused to let failure hold me back, and I persisted in my efforts until I was able to overcome the obstacles in my path.I also believe that a positive attitude is key to achieving success. No matter how difficult a situation may be, I always try to maintain a positive mindset. I believe that positivity breeds resilience, and it allows me to tackle challenges with a sense of optimism and hope. I encourage each of you to adopt a similar attitude in your own lives and to remember that a positive mindset can make all the difference. In addition to perseverance and a positive attitude, I believe that it is important to have a clear vision for your future. Setting goals and working towards them with determination is crucial for success. Whether your goal is to excel in academics, pursue a career in the arts, or make a difference in your community, having a clear vision will help you stay focused and motivated.I also want to emphasize the importance of hard work and dedication. Success rarely comes easy, and it often requires a great deal of effort and determination. I have always been willing to put in the hard work necessary to achieve my goals, and I have found that my dedication has been rewarded with success. Finally, I want to encourage each of you to never lose sight of your dreams. No matter how big or small they may be, your dreams are what drive you forward and give your life purpose. It is important to pursue your dreams with passion and determination, and to never let anyone or anything stand in the way of your goals. In conclusion, I want to remind each and every one of you that you have the power to achieve anything you set your mind to. With perseverance, a positive attitude, hard work, dedication, and a clear vision, you can overcome any obstacle and achieve your dreams. I hope that my words have inspired you to reach for the stars and to never give up on your dreams. Thank you.。

To begin with ,I want to ask a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,today I want to talk about dreamwith you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night, but a dream—— about life.Everyone has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage, and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners(水手),we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction, with a direction, we were no longer confused. With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight. But I know, life is tough, and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims, and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always comfort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. IfI can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth."My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder."In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, lifeis a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's--- move ----out!Thank you for your listening! 3Someone said “we are reading the firs t verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all.We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of l ife, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see threelines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours? I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life istough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we fee l, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way. Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the fi rst verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owner s of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”。

Ladies and gentlemen,Good morning/afternoon! It is my great honor to stand before you today to share with you some inspiring stories of famous people who have overcome adversity and achieved remarkable success. These stories are not just about their achievements, but more importantly, about their perseverance, determination, and the indomitable spirit that led them to where they are now. As we are all in the second year of middle school, this is a critical time for us to cultivate our character, set goals, and work hard towards them. Let us take inspiration from these great individuals and strive to be the best versions of ourselves.First, let me introduce you to a man who was born into a poor family but went on to become one of the most influential figures in the world: Nelson Mandela. Mandela was an anti-apartheid revolutionary, lawyer, and the first Black President of South Africa. He spent 27 years in prison for his fight against racial segregation and inequality. Despite facing unimaginable hardships, Mandela never lost hope and never gave up.During his time in prison, Mandela read thousands of books, studied law, and even earned a bachelor's degree through correspondence. He used his time wisely and never allowed his circumstances to define him. When he was released from prison, Mandela did not seek revenge but instead worked tirelessly to unite the nation and promote reconciliation. His unwavering determination and compassion changed the course of history, and he became a symbol of hope and resilience for millions of people around the world.Mandela's story teaches us that no matter how difficult our circumstances may be, we must never give up on our dreams. We should always strive to be the change we wish to see in the world, and we should never allow our past to dictate our future.Next, let's talk about a woman who revolutionized the world of science: Marie Curie. Marie was a Polish physicist and chemist who conducted pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and remains the only person to win Nobel Prizes in two different sciences. Despite facing numerous challenges, including genderdiscrimination and financial struggles, Marie Curie never wavered in her pursuit of knowledge.Marie's determination was fueled by her passion for science and her desire to make a difference in the world. She once said, "One never notices what has been done; one can only see what remains to be done." This quote encapsulates her spirit of determination and her relentless pursuit of discovery. Marie Curie's story reminds us that passion and perseverance can lead us to accomplish the seemingly impossible.Moving on, we have the story of a man who changed the way we see the world: Albert Einstein. Einstein was a theoretical physicist who proposed the theory of relativity, revolutionizing our understanding of space, time, and gravity. Despite struggling with dyslexia and beingtold he would never amount to anything, Einstein never stopped questioning and seeking answers.Einstein's determination was driven by his curiosity and his belief that there was a deeper understanding of the universe waiting to be discovered. He once said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all that will be." This quote highlights the importance of imagination and curiosity in our journey towards success. The stories of Mandela, Curie, and Einstein teach us that determination and perseverance are key to overcoming obstacles and achieving our goals. But determination alone is not enough; we must also believe in ourselves and stay focused on our dreams. In the words of Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple Inc., "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way todo great work is to love what you do." Jobs overcame numerous challenges in his life, including being fired from Apple, but his love for technology and his unwavering determination led him to create some ofthe most iconic products in history.Jobs' story reminds us that passion is the fuel that drives determination. We must find what we are truly passionate about and pursue it with all our might. As we embark on our journey through middle school, let us take inspiration from these great individuals. Let us be determined to pursue our dreams, to overcome obstacles, and to never give up. Here are some tips to help us stay determined:1. Set clear goals: Define what you want to achieve and create a plan to get there.2. Believe in yourself: Your self-confidence is your greatest asset. Trust in your abilities and never doubt yourself.3. Stay focused: Stay committed to your goals and avoid distractions.4. Learn from failures: Every failure is a stepping stone to success. Analyze what went wrong and learn from it.5. Maintain a positive attitude: A positive mindset can help you overcome adversity and stay motivated. In conclusion, the power of determination is a force that can move mountains. By drawing inspiration from the lives of great individuals like Mandela, Curie, Einstein, and Jobs, we can cultivate our own determination and achieve our dreams. Remember, the only limit to our potential is the one we place on ourselves. So, let us embrace our determination, stay focused, and strive to be the best versions of ourselves.Thank you for your attention, and may we all find success andfulfillment in our lives.。

But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

We are heartened by the fact that the alliancebetween ourselves and the Party remains as strong as it —it always , the National Education Crisis Committee, the South African Youth Congress, the Transvaal and Natal Indian Congresses, and COSATU and the many other formations of the Mass Democratic Movement. I also salute the Black Sash and the National Union of South African Students. We note with pride that you have looked — that you have acted as the conscience of white South Africa. Even during the darkest days in the history of our struggle you held the flag of liberty high. The large?scale mass mobilization of the past few years is one of the key factors which led to the opening of the final chapter of our — Your organized strength is the pride of our movement. You, the young lions, have energized our entire struggle. I pay tribute to the mothers and wives and sisters of our nation. Without your support our struggle would not have reached this advanced stage. The sacrifice of the frontline states will be remembered by South Africans , black and white, recognize that apartheid has no future. It has to be ended by our own decisive mass action in order to build peace and security. The mass campaigns of defiance and other actions of our organizations and people can onlyculminate in the establishment of continent is in calculable. The fabric of family life of millions of my people has been shattered. Millions are homeless and unemployed. Our economy — Our economy lies in ruins and our people are embroiled in political strife. Our resort to the armedstruggle in 19xx with the formation of the military wing of the ANC, Umkhonto we Sizwe, was a purely defensive action against the violence of apartheid. The factors which necessitated the armed struggle still exist today. We have no option but to continue. We express the hope that a climate conducive to a negotiated settlement will be created soon so that there may no longer be the need for the armed , strategies, and , I feel duty?bound to make the point that a leader of the movement is a person who has been democratically elected at a national conference. This is a principle which must be upheld without any , I wish to report to you that my talks with the government have been aimed at normalizing the political situation in the country. We have not as yet begun discussing the basic demands of the struggle. I wish to stress that I myself have at no time entered into negotiations about the future of our country except to insist on a meeting between the ANC and the has gone further than any other Nationalist President in taking real steps to normalize the situation. However, there are further steps, as outlined in the Harare Declaration, that have to be met before negotiations on the basic demands of our people can begin.Negotiations cannot take place — Negotiations cannot take place above the heads or behind the backs of our people. It is our belief that the future of our country can only be determined by a body which is democratically elected on a non?racial basis. Negotiations on the dismantling of apartheid will have to address the overwhelming demands of our people for a democratic, non?racial and unitary South Africa. And this reality is that we are still suffering under the policies of the Nationalist , so that the process towards democracy is rapid and uninterrupted. We havewaited too long for our freedom. We can no longer wait. Now is the time to intensify the struggle on all fronts. To relax our efforts now would be a mistake which generations to come will not be able to role in a united democratic and non?racial South Africa is the only way to peace and racial harmony. In conclusion, I wish to quote my own words during my trial in 19xx. They are as true today as they were then. I spoke: I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and — and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die. 4This is the text of Earl Spencer's tribute to his sister at her funeral. There is some very deep, powerful and heartfelt sentiment. Would that those at whom it is aimed would take heed. The versions posted on several news services had minor errors. This is precisely as it was deliverd.I stand before you today the representative of a family in grief, in a country in mourning before a world in shock. We are all united not only in our desire to pay our respects to Diana but rather in our need to do so.For such was her extraordinary appeal that the tens of millions of people taking part in this service all over the world via television and radio who never actually met her, feel that they, too, lost someone close to them in the early hours of Sunday morning. It is a more remarkable tribute to Diana than I can ever hope to offer her today.Diana was the very essence of compassion, of duty, of style,of beauty. All over the world she was a symbol of selfless humanity, a standard-bearer for the rights of the truly downtrodden, a very British girl who transcended nationality, someone with a natural nobility who was classless, who proved in the last year that she needed no royal title to continue to generate her particular brand of magic.Today is our chance to say "thank you" for the way you brightened our lives, even though God granted you but half a life. We will all feel cheated, always, that you were taken from us so young and yet we must learn to be grateful that you came along at all.Only now you are gone do we truly appreciate what we are now without and we want you to know that life without you is very, very difficult. We have all despaired at our loss over the past week and only the strength of the message you gave us through your years of giving has afforded us the strength to move forward. There is a temptation to rush to canonize your memory. There is no need to do so. You stand tall enough as a human being of unique qualities not to need to be seen as a saint. Indeed to sanctify your memory would be to miss out on the very core of your being, your wonderfully mischievous sense of humor with the laugh that bent you double, your joy for life transmitted wherever you took your smile, and the sparkle in those unforgettable eyes, your boundless energy which you could barely contain. But your greatest gift was your intuition, and it was a gift you used wisely. This is what underpinned all your wonderful attributes. And if we look to analyze what it was about you that had such a wide appeal, we find it in your instinctive feel for whatwas really important in all our lives.Without your God-given sensitivity, we would be immersed in greater ignorance at the anguish of AIDS and HIV sufferers, the plight of the homeless, the isolation of lepers, the random destruction of land mines. Diana explained to me once that it was her innermost feelings of suffering that made it possible for her to connect with her constituency of the rejected. And here we come to another truth about her. For all the status, the glamour, the applause, Diana remained throughout a very insecure person at heart, almost childlike in her desire to do good for others so she could release herself from deep feelings of unworthiness of which her eating disorders were merely a symptom. The world sensed this part of her character and cherished her for her vulnerability, whilst admiring her for her honesty. The last time I saw Diana was on July the first, her birthday, in London, when typically she was not taking time to celebrate her special day with friends but was guest of honor at a fund-raising charity evening. She sparkled of course, but I would rather cherish the days I spent with her in March when she came to visit me and my children in our home in South Africa. I am proud of the fact that apart from when she was on public display meeting President Mandela, we managed to contrive to stop the ever-present paparazzi from getting a single picture of her. That meant a lot to her. These were days I will always treasure. It was as if we'd been transported back to our childhood, when we spent such an enormous amount of time together, the two youngest in the family.Fundamentally she hadn't changed at all from the big sister who mothered me as a baby, fought with me at school and endured those long train journeys between our parents' homes with me at weekends. It is a tribute to her level-headedness and strength that despite the most bizarre life imaginable after her childhood, she remained intact, true to herself. There is no doubt that she was looking for a new direction in her life at this time. She talked endlessly of getting away from England, mainly because of the treatment she received at the hands of the newspapers.I don't think she ever understood why her genuinely good intentions were sneered at by the media, why there appeared to be a permanent quest on their behalf to bring her down. It is baffling. My own, and only, explanation is that genuine goodness is threatening to those at the opposite end of the moral spectrum. It is a point to remember that of all the ironies about Diana, perhaps the greatest was this; that a girl given the name of the ancient goddess of hunting was, in the end, the most hunted person of the modern age.She would want us today to pledge ourselves to protecting her beloved boys William and Harry from a similar fate. And I do this here, Diana, on your behalf. We will not allow them to suffer the anguish that used regularly to drive you to tearful despair.Beyond that, on behalf of your mother and sisters, I pledge that we, your blood family, will do all we can to continue the imaginative and loving way in which you were steering these two exceptional young men, so that their souls are not simply immersed by duty and tradition but can sing openly as you planned. We fully respect the heritage into which they have both beenborn, and will always respect and encourage them in their royal role. But we, like you, recognize the need for them to experience as many different aspects of life as possible, to arm them spiritually and emotionally for the years ahead. I know you would have expected nothing less from us.William and Harry, we all care desperately for you today. We are all chewed up with sadness at the loss of a woman who wasn't even our mother. How great your suffering is we cannot even imagine.I would like to end by thanking God for the small mercies he has shown us at this dreadful time; for taking Diana at her most beautiful and radiant and when she had joy in her private life.Above all, we give thanks for the life of a woman I am so proud to be able to call my sister: the unique the complex, the extraordinary and irreplaceable Diana, whose beauty, both internal and external, will never be extinguished from our minds. 5Every era has its defining struggle and the fate of Africa is one of ours. It's not the only one, but in the history books it's easily going to make the top five--what we did or what we did not do. It's a proving ground, as I said earlier, for the idea of equality. But whether it's this or something else, I hope you'll pick a fight and get in it. Get your boots dirty. Get rough. Steel your courge with a final drink there at Smoky Joe's, one last primal scream and go.

I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you inkinde rgarten, or starting middle or high school, it's your first day in a new school, so it'sunderstanda ble if you're a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who arefeeling pretty g ood right now—with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you'rein, some of yo u are probably wishing it were still summer and you could've stayed in bed just alittle bit longe r this morning.

I know that feeling. When I was young, my family lived overseas. I lived in Indonesia fora few years. And my mother, she didn't have the money to send me where all the American kids went to school, but she thought it was important for me to keep up with an American education. So she decided to teach me extra lessons herself, Monday through Friday. But because she had to go to work, the only time she could do it was at 4:30 in the morning.

Now, as you might imagine, I wasn't too happy about getting up that early. And a lot of times, I'd fall asleep right there at the kitchen table. But whenever I'd complain, my mother would just give me one of those looks and she'd say, "This is no picnic for me either, buster."

”So I know that some of you are still adjusting to being back at school. But I'm here today because I have something important to discuss with you. I'm here because I want to talk with you about your education and what's expected of all of you in this new school year.

Now, I've given a lot of speeches about education. And I've talked about responsibility a lot.

I've talked about teachers' responsibility for inspiring students and pushing you to learn.

I've talked about your parents' responsibility for making sure you stay on track, and you get your homework done, and don't spend every waking hour in front of the TV or with the Xbox.

I've talked a lot about your government's responsibility for setting high standards, and supporting teachers and principals, and turning around schools that aren't working, where students aren't getting the opportunities that they deserve.

But at the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, the best schools in the world—and none of it will make a difference, none of it will 2matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities, unless you show up to those schools, unless you pay attention to those teachers, unless you listen to your parents and grandparents and other adults and put in the hard work it takes to succeed. That's what I want to focus on today: the responsibility each of you has for your education.

I want to start with the responsibility you have to yourself. Every single one of you has something that you're good at. Every single one of you has something to offer. And you have a responsibility to yourself to discover what that is. That's the opportunity an education can provide.
