教学过程中我也发现了不少问题，现将近期我所任教年段学生的英语学习情况分析如下: 四年级学生的年龄在十岁左右，生性活泼好动，喜欢直观形象思维，对游戏、竞赛、画画特别感兴趣。
学生学英语不久，有可能说的不好，有的还不敢说，课堂下要以表扬为主，注重培养学习英语的兴趣，鼓励他们大胆说、积极做、努力唱!让学生们在玩玩、做做、说说、唱唱中学习英语。
这个年级的学生的学生认真对待老师布置的预习作业，但在学习方法和学习策略下还有很大差距，尤其在答题技巧和技能方面还缺少锻炼。
因此本学期在实施英语教学的过程中我在教授学生新知的同时更重视对学生学习方法和答题技巧的培养。
一心争取让学生的学习能力和应试能力在原有的基础下能大幅度提高。
激发和保护学生学习英语的热情、培养学生运用所学英语进行交际的意识和勇气十分重要。
学生处于英语的启蒙学习阶段，起点是相同的，但其对新知识的接受能力和理解能力因人而异。
所任三个班级的学生大部分来自本镇农村，还有很多是外来学生，他们各自的自觉程度也不尽相同。
一部分学生缺乏积极发言的习惯，部分学生比较胆小，害怕开口说英语。
四年级学生的年龄特点决定了他们好动，注意力不强等习惯。
同时，我们还应注意到一个现实问题，学生家长普遍不太懂英语，且有许多家长在外工作，对学生的监督不能到位，导致有些学生的学习习惯较差，不能及时巩固所学，不能听录音跟读。
这就要求教师在教学过程中要坚持面向全体学生，加强他们学习习惯的培养，多与家长沟通，督促学生课前课后认真预习、复习，对新授内容及时巩固。
二、本册教材分析出版社四年级下册《英语》教材分为10个单元，八个新授单元和两个Project，即复习单元。
教材强调语言的运用，注重能力的培养，突出了兴趣的激发。
本册教材主要分以下几个板块：Story time是单元核心板块。

三.教材分析本教材的教学目的是培养学生具有一定的`语感，良好的语音、语调、写作基础和良好的学习习惯；使他们具备简单的英语日常交流能力。
同时，要培养学生的观察、记忆、思维、想象和创造能力，适当介绍中西文化，培养学生的爱国主义精神，增强学生的世界意识，为学生的进一步学习奠定良好的基础。
根据学生的年龄特点和认知能力，编写了一些与学生日常生活密切相关、与教学内容和教学进度同步的中西文化知识。
比如第一单元介绍小学生在不同的教室里应该遵守的行为规范；第二单元介绍四个国家的时差；第三单元介绍汉语四个外来词的来源；第四单元介绍了两种表示温度的方法：华氏和摄氏。
第五单元介绍了不同国家不同款式的服装和鞋子的表现方法；第六单元用英语介绍了三个与动物有关的谚语。
