本单元对话内容很具有故事性，本课围绕去商场买包展开，内容趣味生动，贴近生活，整个知识重点始终围绕谈论物品的特征，表达自己对事物的看法。
该单元的课文情景是Lingling的行李箱坏了，Ms Smart要为她买一个新的，于是两个人一起去了百货商店。
Lingling看到一款黑色的提包，觉得它又大又好看，但Ms Smart 认为这个包对Lingling来说太重了；Ms Smart向Lingling推荐了一款绿色的提包，它不但很轻，而且有两个口袋，可以装雨伞，但Lingling觉得它太小；最后，Ms Smart看到一款蓝色的箱子，它又大又轻，还有四个轮子，用起来很方便。
Ms Smart最终给Lingling 买了这个蓝色的箱子，Lingling向Ms Smart表示感谢。
