2.2 短语的分译 同词的分译一样,带有明显的感情色彩的短语不应该简单地字面翻译,而应把 它们翻译得更加具体。 2.2.1 分译分词短语 分词短语在句中可以作主语、定语、宾语等成分。在翻译的过程中,如果原作 者强调了短语所表示的动作,译者则应该将短语译成两个或两个以上的句子。如: She sat with her hands cupping her chin, staring at a corner of the little kitchen. 她坐在那儿双手托着下巴,眼睛凝视着小厨房的一角。
