No Drugs依据《高中英语新课程标准》中提出的理念:“高中英语课程应根据高中学生认知特点和学习发展需要,在进一步发展学生基本语言运用能力的同时;……逐步培养学生用英语进行思维和表达的能力;为学生进一步学习和发展创造必要的条件”。
成功的英语课堂教学教师应该为课堂内创设更多的情景,让学生有机会使用已学过的语言材料。
通过给学生创设问题情境,图文并茂,充分调动学生的积极性,使学生自主学习,让学生成为问题的发现者,然后学生与学生进行合作性的探究,让老师成为问题的点拨者。
并根据语篇文本特点,设计和实施一堂阅读理解及词汇认读课。
二、内容分析:本模块以“No Drugs”为话题。
学生通过本模块的学习,要对drugs和smoking有所了解,并通过深人探讨认识到drugs和smoking对身体健康的害处,以及它们引发的社会问题。
学生通过学习可以树立远离香烟和毒品的意识,养成良好的生活习惯,关爱社会,关心他人,并可以运用所学知识以恰当的方式来规劝他人远离香烟和毒品。
Reading and V ocabulary学习一些毒品的名称及相关的词汇。
通过学习一篇外国年轻人吸毒、戒毒的文章和另外一篇关于毒品危害性的文章让学生掌握这些相关词汇;通过完成相关的阅读练习来培养学生的阅读能力,让学生深刻体会到毒品对人心身的危害。
三、学情分析:文章整体难度对高一学生来说基本适中,学生已经储备了一定的英语基础,能较好的展开话题讨论,恰好又与我校十一月主题教育“远离毒品、珍惜生命”的话题相符,有一定的背景知识,降低了难度。
但文本内容编排是乱序的,又增加了阅读的难度。
故本人做了整合,采用多媒体教学,通过创设多种情景活动,使学生积极参与课堂活动,激发学生交流和学习兴趣,希望学生处于积极思考、主动探究的状态中,创造充满活力的课堂气氛。

三、设计思路本堂课我采用任务型教学,我本着以人为本的教学理念,学生从用中学,学以致用。
学生带着任务去阅读课文,在完成任务的过程中学习知识,获得技能。
从而达到课堂教学的目标。

三、学情分析当前在中学生中吸烟现象比较常见,课本内容接近学生生活,对学生有教育意义,容易激发学生的学习热情,易于展开讨论。
另外,经过一段时间高中英语的学习,学生已经初步掌握了落度、跳读等一定的阅读技巧,能够分析读懂本课课文,但大部分灵活运用英语的能力较差,因而要加强此方面的训练。
只要因材施教,设置学生感兴趣的活动,就能让他们积极参与到课堂中来。
四、教学策略选择与设计本课主要采用任务型教学法,为用而学,在用中学,学了就用。
