We can all make a difference by conserving energy, using public transportation, recycling,and supporting sustainable practices. Governments must enact and enforce policies that promote clean energy, protectforests, and regulate pollution. Businesses can reduce their environmental impact by adopting sustainable technologies and practices.Furthermore, it is important for us to support and invest in renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, and to advocate for the protection of natural habitats and wildlife. 不仅是语言，我们国家和西方国家在文化背景上也有着巨大的差异。
(下面就请听英语知识园地节目)我国素称礼仪之邦，其重视礼节程度不亚于欧美任何一国。
但是由于中西风俗习惯有很大的差异，如果我们对此不了解，在与英美人进行交往时，就会引起对方的误会，发生不必要的误解。
今天我们就把英美人在问候上的礼节习惯介绍给大家，以便有助于大家的英语学习和同外国朋友的交往。
B．一、Greetings 问候我们中国人见面打招呼时习惯说：您吃过了吗？（Have you eaten? / Have you had your meal?）或者说：您上哪去？（Where are you going? ）。
而英美人见面时如果是上午则说：Good morning. 如果是在下午则说：Good afternoon, 在傍晚就说:Good evening. 如果与熟人打招呼则说：How are you? 如果是与较熟的人或朋友打招呼则说：Hello, 或Hi. 如果用我们中国人见面打招呼时常说的"Have you eaten？"去问候英美人，就会引起对方的误解，因为"Have you eaten？"在英语里不是打招呼用语，而是"邀请对方去吃饭"。
如果见到英美人时说："Where are you going？"他们会很不高兴。
因为"Where are you going？"对英美人来说则是"即干涉别人的私事。
"提起fish，它给人们的第一印象便是指“鱼”，实际上它的用法并非如此简单。
fish用作可数名词指“鱼的条数”时单数和复数形式相同（two fish两条鱼），指“鱼的种类”时复数形式才为fishes （two fishes两种鱼）；fish用作不可数名词时无复数形式，应作“鱼肉”解（Help yourself to some fish．随便吃些鱼。
）；fish用作动词时，它的含义又与“钓（捕）鱼”有关（go fishing 去钓鱼）。
在英语口语里，fish还常常被用来指“人”，类似于汉语里的“家伙、东西”等。
如：a poor fish（可怜虫），a big fish（大亨），a cool fish（无耻之徒），a strange fish（奇人、怪人），a loose fish（放荡鬼）等。
但必须注意的是，fish用来指人时形象虽然鲜明，但往往含有贬义。
