Summer Camp Diary。
Day 1:
Today was the first day of summer camp and I was so
excited to meet new friends and try new activities. The
camp was located in a beautiful wooded area with cabins, a
lake, and a bonfire pit. After settling into our cabins, we
had a welcome ceremony where we learned the camp rules and
met our counselors. I quickly made friends with a girl
named Sarah and we decided to explore the camp together. We
played games, went swimming in the lake, and roasted
marshmallows over the bonfire. I can already tell that this
is going to be an amazing week.
Day 2:
Today was filled with exciting activities. In the
morning, we went on a nature hike and learned about the plants and animals in the area. We also did some team-building exercises and trust falls, which helped us bond as
a group. In the afternoon, we had a talent show where
everyone got to showcase their skills. I sang a song with
Sarah playing the guitar, and we received a lot of applause.
It was so much fun to see everyone's talents and creativity.
After dinner, we had a campfire sing-along and told stories
under the stars. I feel so lucky to be a part of this
amazing camp.
Day 3:
Today was adventure day at camp and we got to choose
from a variety of activities. Sarah and I decided to go
kayaking on the lake, which was so much fun. We paddled
around, exploring the shoreline and spotting wildlife. In
the afternoon, we went rock climbing and challenged
ourselves to reach the top of the cliff. It was a bit scary
at first, but with the encouragement of our counselors and
friends, we made it to the top. I felt so proud of myself
for overcoming my fears. In the evening, we had a campfire
cookout and made s'mores. I can't believe how fast this week is going by. I never want it to end.
Day 4:
Today was our last full day at camp and we made the
most of it. We started the day with a sunrise hike to watch
the sun come up over the lake. It was so peaceful and
beautiful. After breakfast, we had a scavenger hunt around
the camp, searching for clues and solving puzzles. It was a
great way to explore the camp and work together as a team.
In the afternoon, we had a water balloon fight and cooled
off in the hot sun. We ended the day with a campfire talent
show, where everyone got to perform one last time. I sang a
solo this time and felt so proud of how far I've come. I'm
going to miss this place and all the friends I've made.
Day 5:
Today was the last day of summer camp and it was
bittersweet. We packed up our things and said goodbye to
our counselors and friends. I exchanged phone numbers and
promised to keep in touch with Sarah and the others. As the bus pulled away from the camp, I felt a mix of sadness and
gratitude. I will always cherish the memories I made here
and the lessons I learned about friendship, teamwork, and
facing my fears. Summer camp was truly an unforgettable
experience and I can't wait to come back next year.

that have taken place in Beijing. And they said Beijing was quite
different from what they had heard of and it was very beautiful.

Today was Thursday. We went to the McDonald’s for lunch.
We got there by school bus. On the bus we were very excited. We
couldn’t stop talking. Liz told us some jokes, we all laughed.
Twenty minutes later, we arrived at the McDonald’s. We saw so
many delicious food, hamburgers, chicken wings, French fries
and so on. We all like them very much. The teachers offered us a
hamburger, some fries and a cup of cola each. We enjoyed them
very much. Then the teacher said, “If you are not full, you can
buy it yourself”. So some students bought some other food
again.
About one hour later, we finished our lunch. And we took the
school bus back to school.
