Hello everyone! First of all, i wanna say that i really feel great honor to have the opportunity to enter this summer camp of ShanghaiTech University.
Now, let me introduce myself. I’m Tang guoqing from Hefei University of technology. My hometown is Qingdao, a beautiful coastal city in Shandong province, and I grow up in a happy family there.
Since i was in my high school, i became interested in chemistry. The mystery of the combination of basic elements really have attracted me.So i decided to have a further study of it in university. My major is polymer material and engineering. I really like it because it is the exact major that i wanna study.
During the 3-year university life, i try my best to use all of my time doing meaningful things. I studied hard in all of my courses and won the third prize scholarship in my first year and first prize in my second year.Also, i have conducted a creativity experiment as a group leader in my school. Through this process, i have a better understanding about the field i study, and that was also an evidence of my organizing and managing skill.I have a great talent in sport, and i really like the sense of achievement of winning prize for my faculty. I have also participated in a student volunteering organization and i have put my heart and soul in helping the kid in need . Those experience makes my campus life colorful and i made a lot of friends. The university life is really a vital part in my life. The colorful as well as meaningful three-year really taught me a lot. Finally, i wanna announce that the purpose that i applied to this summer camp is that i really wanna meet some teachers and friends in the same major with me. I wanna have a communication with them and learn from them.
