Simon考官范文-雅思写作Task 2: problem/solution(问题与解决办法) essay

题目:In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations.范文:It is true that people in industrialised nations can expect to live longer than ever before. Although there will undoubtedly be some negative consequences of this trend, societies can take steps to mitigate these potential problems. As people live longer and the populations of developed countries grow older, several related problems can be anticipated. The main issue is that there will obviously be more people of retirement age who will be eligible to receive a pension. The proportion of younger, working adults will be smaller, and governments will therefore receive less money in taxes in relation to the size of the population. In other words, an ageing population will mean a greater tax burden for working adults. Further pressures will include a rise in the demand for healthcare, and the fact young adults will increasingly have to look after their elderly relatives. There are several actions that governments could take to solve the problems described above. Firstly, a simple solution would be to increase the retirement age for working adults, perhaps from 65 to 70. Nowadays, people of this age tend to be healthy enough to continue a productive working life. A second measure would be for governments to encourage immigration in order to increase the number of working adults who pay taxes. Finally, money from national budgets will need to be taken from other areas and spent on vital healthcare, accommodation and transport facilities for the rising numbers of older citizens. In conclusion, various measures can be taken to tackle the problems that are certain to arise as the populations of countries grow older.(265 words, band 9)。

剑桥雅思5TEST3写作TASK2题目+范文---------------------------------------剑桥雅思5TEST3写作TASK 2题目:Some people think that a sense of competition in children should be encouraged. Others believe that children who are taught to co-operate rather than compete become more useful adults. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.剑桥雅思5TEST3写作TASK 2范文:Nowadays, many education experts find that there are two ways to teach children. Some parents foco more on how to teach their children to learn competition. Others claim that co-operation is more useful in the future for a kid. Admittedly, both of them are reasonable. It can be known by many people that in modern society, if you want to achieve success, you have to learn how to compete with others in a correct way. For example, when you want to find a job, it is necessary for you to own some unique skills so that to prove you are the best. Who have strength, who will be the winner. So many people think that teaching children how to compete is the only method to guarantee that they can lead a comfortable life in the future. Otherwise, they may not enjoy themselve any more. However, opposite side also give their reasons. If you want to be a winner in a competition, you have to know how to get your goal with using others power, deal with a problem just by yourself is impossible to achieve your dream. Consequently, the importance of co-operation is seen by many parents, and many of them start to groom their children the quality of working in a team-work. The reason is to be better in competition.According what these two sides' arguments, we can see that both of them are justified. For my part, I advocate children should be brough up both kind of qualities. They have know the importance of competition, and also need to realise the nevessarity of co-operation. Both of these two qualities have their advantages in modern society, so be equiped by them at the same time, kids can lead a satisfied life when they grow up.这个暑期,来雅思封闭班,我们给考生最大的保障感谢阅读,欢迎大家下载使用!。

Simon考官范文-雅思写作Task 2:Crime话题范文(一边倒的写法)

题目:Some people who have been in prison become good citizens later, and it is often argued that these are the best people to talk to teenagers about the dangers of committing a crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?有些人进了号子之后放出来就变乖了,一些人觉得他们这伙人是最适合去给懵懂少年现身说法的。

多大程度上同意还是不同意?考官范文:1.开头段:完全同意题目的观点It is true that ex-prisoners can become normal, productive members of society. I completely agree with the idea that allowing such people to speak to teenagers about their experiences is the best way to discourage them from breaking the law.

In my opinion, teenagers are more likely to accept advice from someone who can speak from experience. Reformed offenders can tell young people about how they became involved in crime, the dangers of a criminal lifestyle, and what life in prison is really like. They can also dispel any ideas that teenagers may have about criminals leading glamorous lives. While adolescents are often indifferent to the guidance given by older people, I imagine that most of them would be extremely keen to hear the stories of an ex-offender. The vivid and perhaps shocking nature of these stories is likely to have a powerful impact.在我看来,骚年们更喜欢接受有实践经历的人来讲道理。

2023最新雅思写作Task 2范文

2023最新雅思写作Task 2范文题目:Some people believe that technology has made our lives more complicated, while others feel that it has had the opposite effect. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.雅思写作Task 2范文Technology has become an increasingly ubiquitous presence in our daily lives, and its impact on our wellbeing is a topic of much debate. While some individuals believe that technology has made our lives unnecessarily complex, many others argue that it has had a positive impact on our lives. This essay will examine both sides of the argument before drawing a conclusion. On the one hand, detractors of technology argue that it has made our lives more complicated. Firstly, they point out that social media and other forms of digital communication can be a source of stress, as people feel pressure to be constantly connected and responsive to messages. Secondly, they argue that the sheer amount of information available online is overwhelming, making it difficult to filter useful information from the noise. This can lead to anxiety and a feeling of being constantly bombarded with choices. However, supporters of technology argue that it has madeour lives easier and more convenient in a number of ways. For instance, technology has enabled us to work remotely, freeing us from the constraints of a fixed location and a rigid work schedule. Additionally, online shopping and the ability to access information from anywhere have become increasingly popular and convenient. Moreover, technology has enabled us to stay connected with friends, family and colleagues easily, even when separated by geography or time zones. In my opinion, while technology has certainly made our lives more complex in some ways, it has actually had a net positive impact on our wellbeing. The ability to communicate and access information from anywhere has given us greater choice and flexibility in our lives, and it has enabled us to work more efficiently and effectively. While it is true that some people may feel overwhelmed by the amount of information and communication options available through technology, this is ultimately a problem of moderation and self-control.In conclusion, while some people argue that technology has made our lives unnecessarily complicated, I believe that its benefits outweigh its disadvantages. Technology has had a positive impact on our lives by improving our ability to communicate, work, learn and stay connected, and it will continue to do so as long as we use it responsibly.。

参考范文一In many countries, young people are often seen as the driving force of the economy. Therefore, policies to increase birth rates are generally encouraged. But there are also a variety of potential social problems arising if the younger population keeps rising and exceeds the number that a country is able to sustain. It is true that a relatively large number of young adults may pose a threat to economic growth. The overcrowding of younger population inevitably leads to intense competition in the job market, and this would be followed by rising unemployment rate. Over the past few decades some developing countries like China adopted one-child policy in an effort to balance the population, and this effectively alleviated the pressure on the job market. If there were no such policy, there would be many unemployed young people, causing much pressure on economic growth. However, the advantages of having a larger younger population are also evident. In some countries, economic development is stifled due to lack of human resources, e.g. Singapore. Here the country has more than adequate job opportunities and resources and in fact must get much of its labour force from abroad. To solve this problem and hence invest in its own economy, Singapore is introducing polices to attract a much larger youthful population. Without the youthful population, the country would struggle to see economic development. In conclusion, I think that the large younger population can bring more advantages than disadvantages; however, it must be understood that too much of an imbalance can lead to difficulties in the future.参考译文一在一些国家,年轻人经常被视为经济的动力,因此提高生育率的政策为人们所提?。

In general, the modes are classified into two kinds in terms of average miles traveled per person per years: one enjoyed rising popularity while other decreasing. The travel modes which modes which gained popularity in the period included cars, long distance buses, train, taxis and other. Long distance buses and taxis seemed to be warmly welcomed by travelers so average miles traveled in the two modes almost tripled.Travels by walking, bicycles and local buses lost travelers’ favor in the one and half decade. Average traveling distance by local buses suffered the biggest decrease, dropping from 429 to 274, while the number of miles by walking and bike fell mildly from 255 to 237 and from 51 to 41 respectively. Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things we really do not need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives. Which viewpoint do you agree with?Model Answer 1:I think that everyone can divide all advertising products and services into useless ones and useful ones. It is like looking through an information desk when you pay attention to those messages that interest you. Take me for example.I do not like jewelry. It does not mean I do not have it at all, I have a couple of inexpensive rings as gifts from my parents. I just think, people pay too much attention to this stuff. I believe it is the result of mass advertising. Every day when I am watching TV, listening to the radio orreading the paper I notice many ads about getting an expensive ring, chain, necklace or ear-rings. From my point of view these kinds of advertising contaminate people's minds. In this case you are encouraged to buy things you do not really need. They make you believe you need such products in order to succeed or be happy. From the other side, I think that advertisements of the new detergents with up-to-date formulas to help you maintain your cloth in perfect conditions, the new cars with some extra futures that make your traveling more comfortable and sports goods that make your life healthier may help you to improve your life.Recently my husband and I saw an ad on the Internet about a very interesting and inexpensive vocation to Japan for a week. Is not it awesome? We like traveling. So now we are planning to find out more about it and, may be, make reservations. I believe that without advertisements we would be unaware about plenty of oppotunities that may make your life happier, easier and less stressful. My point is that every person has his own scale of values. So if he is vegetarian he will consider an ad about meat products useless for him.Model Answer 2:The purpose of advertising is to tell the consumer about any new product or service or any new promotion on the existing product and service. We need it so we can make good decisions when we go shopping. Advertising tells us when new and improved products become available and lets us know which ones have the best price.Through advertising we learn about new products. For example, many grocery stores now sell prepackaged lunches. These are very convenient for busy parents. They can give these lunches to their children to take to school. Busy parents don’t have time to look at every item on the store shelf, so without advertising they might not know about such a convenient new product.Even products we are familiar with may be improved, and advertising lets us know about this. Most people use cell phones, but new types of cell phone service become available all the time. There are different plans that give you more hours to talk on the phone, you can send text messages and photos, and next week probably some even newer type of service will be available. By watching advertisements on TV it is easy to find out about new improvements to all kinds of products.Advertisements keep us informed about prices. Prices change all the time, but everyone can look at the ads in the newspaper and see whatthe latest prices are. Advertisements also inform us about sales. In fact, some people buy the newspaper only in order to check the prices and plan their weekly shopping.Advertisements improve our lives by keeping us informed about the latest products developments and the best prices. Advertisements serve a useful purpose.。

Families who do not send their children to government-financed schools should not be required to pay taxes that support universal education.Model Answer 1: (Agree)Families who do not send their children to government-financed school should not be required to pay taxes that support universal education. When families send their children to non-public (that is, parochial and private) schools, they must pay tuition and other school expenses. Spending additional money to pay taxes creates an even greater financial hardship for these families. They must make sacrifices, trying to have enough money to pay for school in addition to other bills. For example, my friend Amalia is a single mother with an eight-year-old son, Andrew. Because they survive solely on her income, money is tight. Amalia works at least 10 hours of overtime each week to cover Andrew's school expenses. This gives Amalia and Andrew less time to spend together, and she is always so tired that she is impatient with him when they do have family time. Clearly, this extra expense is an unfair burden for hard-working parents like Amalia. While some people may consider parochial or private school to be a luxury, for many families it is essential because their community's public schools fail to meet their children's needs. Unfortunately, due to shrinking budgets, many schools lack well-qualified,experienced educators. Children may be taught by someone who is not a certified teacher or who knows little about the subject matter. Some problems are even more serious. For example, the public high school in my old neighborhood/neighbourhood had serious safety problems, due to students bringing guns, drugs, and alcohol to school. After a gang-related shooting occurred at the high school, my parents felt that they had no choice but to enroll me in a parochial school that was known for being very safe.Unfortunately, even when families prefer public schools, sometimes they can't send their children to one. These families are burdened not only for paying expenses at another school, but also by being forced to pay taxes to support a public school that they do not use.Model Answer 2: (Disagree)Families who do not send their children to public school should be required to pay taxes that support public education.Every child in my country is required to attend school and every child is welcome to enroll at his/her local public school. Some families choose to send their children to other schools, and it is their prerogative to do so. However, the public schools are used by the majority of our children and must remain open for everyone. For example, my uncle sent his two children to a private academy for primary school. Then he lost a huge amount of money through some poor investments and he could no longer afford the private school's tuition. The children easily transferred to their local public school and liked it even more than their academy. The public schools supported their family when they had no money to educate their children.Because the public schools educate so many citizens, everyone in my country-whether a parent or not-should pay taxes to support our educational system. We all benefit from theeducation that students receive in public school. Our future doctors, fire fighters, and teacherspeople whom we rely on everyday-are educated in local public schools. When a person is in trouble, it's reassuring to know that those who will help you-such as fire fighters-know what they're doing because they received good training in school and later. Providing an excellent education in the public school system is vital to the strength of our community and our country. Our government must offer the best education available, but it can only do so with the financial assistance of all its citizens. Therefore, everyone-including families who do not send their children to public school-should support public education by paying taxes.。

一.Some people contend(认为)that advertising has positive impact on society while others think it also has negative influence. Discuss.开头段⑴Advertising has become prevalent in the contemporary society and vast billboards, TV commercials and leaflets(传单)are all exerting profound impact on modern life. ⑵In the meantime, whether advertising is a blessing or a curse has sparked spirited (激烈的)debate. ⑶Some people argu e (认为)that advertising has only beneficial influence on our lives while many others contend that it has detrimental (有害的)effect as well. (改写原题观点,如果原题中只有一个观点,最好把相反的观点写出来。

)⑷Personally, I am in favor of the former (latter) view. (表示自己的观点)表示利与弊的英文:advantages and disadvantages strengths and weaknesses the upside and the downside / pros and cons / boons and banes主体段1Admittedly, advertising may also carry considerable potential drawbacks. ⑴To begin with, a vast number o f online advertisements may harm the Internet users’ lives. ⑵To illustrate, email spamming (群发)may fill up one’s email box with junk emails and worse yet, (递进)many of these junk emails could destroy PCs with viruses or Trojan horses. ⑶Moreover, a high percentage of advertisements in the media are misleading ones. ⑷Today, it seems that many drug companies give false information about their products, which has rendered (让……变成什么状态)a host of customers afraid to buy medicine.主体段2Despite this, advertising has brought numerous benefits. ⑴In the first place, advertisements inform us about the latest products on the market. ⑵In general, with the help of ads, customers can make shopping more economical and less time-consuming.⑶In the second place, elaborate (包含了很多劳动,变成了精心制作)advertisements can be a genuine art form. ⑷Indeed, instead of wasting our time, creative ads can afford us diverse amusements, thereby (后面是动名词)immensely brightening up our lives. ⑸Last but not least, some advertising in the media can motivate people to contribute to charities. ⑹As a matter of fact, I would be hard-pressed to imagine how charities can get enough funds without the help of non-profit ads. (我很难想象相反的事情发生)结尾段⑴In the final analysis, I concede that the proliferation (扩散)of the advertising industry does not come without any adverse effects. (概括让步段的观点)⑵However, the benefits created by advertising far outweigh the disadvantages. (说清楚自己更倾向的观点)⑶Overall, I am convinced that we should further promote the development of advertising and meanwhile get this industry better-regulated.二.Today PC games are very popular among teenagers. But some parents consider that these games are not instructive and that teenagers should be kept away from them. What do you think? As one of the products of modern technology, PC games have definitely become an indispensable part of most teenagers’ lives. Statistics show that teenagers are spending more time and money on entertainment items such as PC games than they did ten years ago. However, in my opinion, although PC games have certain positive effects such as giving teenagers relaxation and activating their imaginations, they have certain negative effects.First, PC games occupy the time when teenagers should be sitting in the classroom or studying in the library. The colorful pictures and vivid characters of PC games are far more exciting than the dull black letters in textbooks. Therefore, addiction to PC games is often accompanied by poor academic work.Furthermore, far from being instructive, some PC games contain violence and pornography, which are extremely harmful for the healthy growth of teenagers. It is said that most juvenile delinquents commit crimes just because their PC game heroes do so in a virtual-reality world. In addition, speaking from the physical aspect, PC games have contributed a lot to failing eyesight among teenagers in recent years. To sum up, despite their entertainment and relaxation values, PC games interfere with the education of teenagers. It would be better if teenagers could use such games in a more rational and controlled way, perhaps under the supervision of their parents.雅思考官九分范文Writing Task 2You should spend about 40 minutes on this task. Write about the following topic: Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish. Why do you think this is happening? What can governments do to reduce the amount of rubbish produced? It is true that in almost every country today each family produces a large amount of waste every week. Most of the rubbish comes from the packaging of the things we buy, such as processed food. However, even if we buy food without packaging, we still produce rubbish from the plastic bags that are used everywhere. The first reason why we have so much packaging is that we consume so much more every day than families did in the past. Also, convenience is very important in modern life; therefore, we buy packaged food that can be transported over long distances and store it until we need it, at first in the supermarket, then at home.Further, the amount of waste produced is also a result of our habit of using something once and throw it away. We forget that even the cheapest plastic bag has used valuable resources and energy. Above all, we also forget that it is a source of pollution and difficult to dealwith. Therefore, I think that governments need to raise this awareness in the general public. Children should be educated about environmental issues at school while adults need to take action. Governments can encourage such action by collecting taxes on packaging, such as plastic bags and fining families and shops that do not try to recycle their Waste.。
