五、教学过程
Step 1 Warming－up
1．游戏：出示某物品的局部图片，让学生猜。
引出单词bike，学习短语by bike。
造句：I come to school by bike.
2．游戏：听一听并猜一猜。
播放小汽车的声音，让学生去猜是什么交通工具。
同样引出单词car，学习短语by car。
造句：I come to school by bike.
3．讲解“by＋交通工具”的用法。
特例：步行on foot。
Step 2 Presentation
1．学习Main scene
(1)呈现图片，仔细观察图片，回答问题：Where are they？What can you see?
(2)学生仔细观察图片，展开合理想象并回答老师的问题。
Where are they？They are at a crossroad.
What can you see？Four people and a subway station.
(3)播放录音，学生模仿朗读，理解对话内容。
①学生朗读对话，并翻译重要的句子，掌握单词、句子的读法。
②教师领读对话，学生模仿，齐读练习，生生对话，小组表演。
③告诉学生应该遵守交通规则：红灯停，绿灯行。
2．学习Let's try
(1)教师引导学生看课本上Let's try 部分的内容，播放录音，学生带着问题听录音，在句子前打勾或画叉。
(2)教师核对答案。
再次播放录音，让学生听出录音原文
或复述原文。
3．学习Let's talk
(1)教师提问：Today I come to school on bus.I usually come to school on foot.What about you？Do you come by bike or by bus？Do you come on foot or by car?
(2)播放录音，学生跟读Let's talk的内容，注意纠正学生的发音。
(3)解释usually、often、sometimes的区别。
(4)快速反应游戏：出示on foot、by bus、by bike、by car 等短语卡片，让学生做相应的动作并说出其汉语意思。
(5)分角色表演对话。
先在小组内分角色表演对话，然后各小组选择代表上台表演对话。
(6)同桌间表演对话，培养学生学习语言、运用语言交流的能力，同时培养合作意识。
根据原对话进行创编及完成探究学习中的题目。

教师做动作，自问自答：How do I come to school？I come to school by bike.让某个小组内的学生复述教师说的对话，小组内接龙造句。
其他小组给该小组评分。

随着交通现代化进程的飞跃发展，人们对这个话题也越来越热衷，因而学生们也很感兴趣。
对于小学生来说，我们作为教育第一战线的英语教师更应该激发学生学习英语的兴趣、培养学生的英语语感以及观察、记忆、思维和想象能力。
因而在学习本课新单词、短语和句子时我加入了很多趣味性较强的的活动：如看图、绘画、游戏和唱歌等。
课时及内容分析：本案例是第一单元第一课时，主要内容是关于人们日常出行的各种交通工具及其短语的学习。
学生已经经过了三到五年级学习英语的过程，初步具备了一定的英语基础，因而掌握本课不难，所以学生需要掌握本课的新单词及短语，要求能听、说、读、写，在此基础上还要求学生要学会在日常生活中运用。
真正达到学以致用，而不是我们所说的哑巴英语。
学生分析：1：随着学生年龄逐渐长大和长期以来形成的读哑巴英语的习惯，很多学生不愿举手或是不敢举手回答问题。
原因是小学生在课堂上自信心不足，平时开口交流的机会又少，从而导致很多学生都不愿开口说英语。
2：经过了三年多的英语学习，学生们已经拥有了一定的英语基础和较强的自学能力，因而需要培养学生的自主学习能力和团队学习精神，激发学生多开口说英语。
