Antithesis（对偶）
1 Definition: to replace one sentence or a part of one sentence against another with an opposed meaning. It’s similar to contrast. But it focuses on the parallel structure. Its features are tidy. Its contrasting senses are apparent. 2 Its function: to strengthen the tune, to increase humor and satire. It’s often used in speech, literature . it can attracted readers’ attention. • 尺有所长，寸有所短。 • 近朱者赤，近墨者黑。 • 金玉其外，败絮其中。 • 挂羊头，卖狗肉。
