I strongly disagree that it is more important for the government to spend money to build art museums and music performance center than do build recreational facilities. I think such recreational facilities as swimming pool, playground, are crucial to people as mass consumption. Therefore they are more important than art museums and music performance.Although art museums and music performance provide us one opportunity to escape the daily pressure and enter an aesthetic world of sensual pleasure, and also purify people’s spirits by striking their heart, art museums and music performance generally need certain appreciative ability to enjoy. For example, when you see the celebrated painting, Mona Lisa, you probably just consider the woman as a beauty rather than knowing how she is beautiful and why the painting is quite well-known. In contrast, everyone can enjoy in playground and most people can go to swimming pool. Hence, the government should gratify most people’s wish.I think recreational facilities are also fine means of relaxation and decompression despite your age, educational background and so on. They are more closely linked to our daily life. For example, when I feel depressed, I usually like to walk on the playground instead of appreciating masterpieces in an art museum; when I want to do entertainment, I probably prefer seeing a movie rather than watching a music performance. So the mass consumption for relaxation and decompression is recreational facilities. Art museums and music performance center are less important. In addition, we have the opportunity to play sports by a recreational facility, further helping us keep healthy. For instance, Swimming pools are essential in summer. People usually do not prefer playing sports such as running, playing basketball in a hot day. Therefore, they generally like to stay at home and open air-conditions. If things go on like this, they will inevitably get sick. But a swimming pool offers us a good facility to take exercise. Also, most swimming pools now are built indoor, so people could enjoy this sport all year around and keep healthy. On the other hand, swimming is so basic a skill that all people should master it in case. Hence the government should spend money on such a recreational facility first. As far as I am concerned, although there is no denying that art museums and art performance are beneficial to people to some extent, I think spending money on recreational facilities is more important.。

^| You have to believe, there is a way. The ancients said:" the kingdom of heaven is trying to enter". Only when the reluctant step by step to go to it 's time, must be managed to get one step down, only have struggled to achieve it.-- Guo Ge Tech

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? A job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than a job with a high salary but less vacation timeSome may hold the opinion that a job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than a job with a high salary but less vacation time, but others have a negative attitude. As far as I am concerned, I agree that a job with more vacation time but a low salary is better than a kob with high salary but less vacation time. There are several reasons and agreements to support my idea. Here, I intend to explain couple of reasons. On the one side, a job with more vacation but a low salary will contributes directly to our physical and mental healthy. According to a recent survey,60%percent of people have diseases linked to their working pressure. Majority of them have a job with high salary and less vacation time in the competitive society. So, we can exercise everyday and go to concert to relax our pressure if we chose a job with more vacation time.Although the first reason I mentioned above is probably the most important reason, it is not the only explanation for why I agree this point. On the other side, a job with more vacation but low salary contributes to family harmony. We have a lot of time together with our family. To support my idea, there is one good example. My old brother has a good job in a computer company and he has a long vacation time. Although the salary of job were not high, but he can use the vacation time to stay with his wife. They always go to some beautiful cities for travel and they never quarrel.quarrelAlso, a job with more vacation time let people have enough time to realize self-fulfilment. We can read more book and have more chance to know this world. Admittedly, a job with high salary also has its advantages. We can use the high salary buy many stuff. But , We must admit the fact that the quality of life is as important as life itself. In conclusion, after we take all I mentioned above into consideration, we can reach the conclusion that a job with more vacation time but low salary is better than a jbo with high salary but less vacation time. It will contributes to our health, family harmony, and realize the value of our life preferably。

2、说这种鸟飞是靠thermals help them to stay in the atmosphere,然后举例说其他的大型鸟condor, eagle use the same method to fly3、说flying 不是advantage是错误的,因为这种鸟是scavenge, which means they are feed on other dead animals, because they are too large, they need sufficient food.而flying can help them cover a larger area to find food.2. Task 2 INDEPENDENT It is important to have the rules about types of clothing that people are allowed to work and school, do you agree or disagree?。

1.what do you think is the most important quality of a working environment: good leaders, good colleagues, or flexible time?2.Agree or disagree: cell phone changes our lives greatly3.
男的人为,时间不够了,等书店有书了,已经开课很久了,会有什么reading problem.solution2: buy old books from the students of last year. The man thought the condition of the used book 0 ]0is not good. He doesn’t like.

1. What is a important opportunity in your life. Describe why it is important.
)2. do you agree or disagree with the following statement: student should not be allowed tobring cellphone into the class.3.
Some people believe that a college or university education should be available to allstudents. Others believe that higher education should be available only to good students.Discuss these views. Which view do you agree with? Explain why.
1. What is your favorite time of the year? Why?2. A conversation between a boy and a girl. The girl hurt her back and the doctor told hershe needs plenty of rest for a whole month. She is not getting better because she has tohaul the heavy textbooks around campus. The man suggests her that since she lives on campus, she can go back to the dorm to get the textbook for the next class withouth carrying them around. She did not want to do that because her dorm locates on one side of the campus andit takes extra 20 minutes for her to get her textbooks that way. The the man suggested her sharing textbooks with her classmates. She can explain that this is just temporary to her classmates. The girl did not like this idea either because she likes to take notes on themargin of the book so she can better review for the tests. The question is which solution do you prefer and why?3. About psychological term "extinction". When someone has an undesirable behavior, other people give what he wants in order to stop this behavior. However, intentionally or not, this is a reward for that person and he will continue doing this undesirable thing in the future. The listening passage gave an example about a mother taking her son to the grocery store. When they passed the cookie isle, her son started whining and crying because he wanted the cookie. The mother, in order to stop his embarrasing behavior, finally gave in and boughthim the cookie. She was not aware that she was actually rewarding the boy's undesirable behavior and he will repeat this in the future. What she should do is to ignore his whiningand crying. Therefore, his crying behavior is not rewards and this behavior is going todecrease untill it eventually disappears. And that is what's called extinction inpsychology.Basically the question of the speaking is to repeat the example given in the passage andexplain what is extinction.4. The school is not going to let first-year undergraduate to park on campus. Two studentswere discussing about this. The girl at first thought this is a good idea and the boy didnot. He believed that to cancel freshman parking on campus is not going to make a bigdifferent and according to his research, there were actually only 85 first-year undergraduates who actually applied for a parking pass. 85 spaces are not significantenought to solve the parking problem. He also suggested that the school should change thelot behind the football stadium into a parking lot and that is the long-term solution to the parking problem.5.About archetects. The article said that back in the 18th century, many archetects did notwant to build regular buildings(engineers build regular buildings). They only got involvedin huge projects like palaces. However, in the 19th century, the situation started thechange. Some archetects started to work with big companies, like Henry Ford. His company was very famous and it wouldn't hurt for archetect to work with his factories. The listening passage mentioned two famous archetects: Julius and Albert Zahn who are brothers. Julius invented steel bars in cement, making it more reliable. (我觉的就是我们国内说的钢筋混凝土)Thia invention made it possible to reduce the support structure space and provide moreinterior space for factories.
