一．教材分析：
我所讲的内容是人教版七年级下Unit 7 It’s raining的第一课时，整个Unit 7 单元的核心话题是谈论天气和人们在干什么，因此如何问答“How’s the weather ? /What’s the
weather like? What are you doing? What ‘s he/she doing 是单元教学的重点，本节课的重点是学习描述天气的形容词，问天气的句式并复习现在进行时，要求学生熟练掌握并正确运用描述天气的词类和句式。
二、学情分析：
谈论天气与我们的日常生活有关，加以动画、图片、声音等多媒体素材形象配合，学习起来学生兴趣浓，比较直观易接受。复习“现在进行时”时师生可随时设置情景，贴近实际，学生在生动活泼的氛围中掌握教学内容。
三、教学目标：
依据本课教材的特点和培养学生听、说、读、写语言能力这个的总体目标的要求，将本课教学目标设计如下：
1. 知识目标：
（1）Master the vocabulary: rain, windy , cloudy, sunny , snow , weather.
（2）Master and use：How's the weather? / What’s the weather like today ？It’s raining/
windy…
2. 能力目标：
（1）通过对本单元的学习，学生能掌握本单元出现的表示天气的形容词。问天气的句式及灵活运用现在进行时态。
（2）通过丰富的课堂活动和创造性任务，把所学的语言与学生的生活实际结合起来，培养学生自主学习英语的能力,运用英语分析、解决问题的能力以及交流合作的能力。
3. 情感、态度和价值观 ：
（1）教育学生善于观察天气，善于描述周围的事物。

Teaching procedure
Step 1: Warming-up and Lead in
1. Ask the Ss randomly: What’s the date today? What day is it today? How are you?
2. Give a new expression which has the same meaning as How are you? : How’s it going? But
the new one has more answers.
Step 2. Presentation
1. (Show some pictures of the weather)
Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is.
Ss learn the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures.

一、单元整体设计思路
学情
分析 本单元的教学对象为七年级（3）班，全班50名学生，女生28人，男生22人。本班学生英语水平差异较大，参差不齐。半数学生对英语学习有着积极的态度和兴趣，但是也有部分学生的英语学习态度需要提高，需要教师提高课堂的趣味性，以吸引和鼓励学生。
经过Unit 6 I’m watching TV. 的学习后，同学们已经对现在进行时有一定的了解，具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。许多有关世界各国天气的信息能激发他们的好奇心，描述当前正在发生的事能引起学生较大的兴趣，有利于本课的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。
教材内容分析 本单元是Go for it!七年级下册第七单元Unit 7 It’s raining!。本单元的话题是“The weather(天气)”。功能项目是“Describe the
weather”(描述天气)和“Describe what you are doing”(描述正在做的事)。在整个初中三年的学习中，多个单元与本单元所涉及的语言知识相关联，如七年级下册Unit6 I’m watching TV.为本单元提供了话题和语法知识的支持。同时也为以后的学习如八年级下册Unit5 What were
you doing when the rainstorm came?提供话题及语法知识的支撑。本单元涉及中考24个话题中的第15个话题：天气（Weather）。其中， 三个子话题：天气情况（Weather conditions）、天气预报（Weather
report）、衣着与天气（Appropriate dressing for the weather）均有所涉及。Talk about weather是中考中常见的话题。所以学好本单元会为以后的学习打下基础。 本单元主要谈论描述天气及不同天气状况下所做的事。能描述各种常见天气。能正确使用现在进行时态（Present progressive tense）; 能用how引导的问句表达问候（How questions）. 关心与我们紧密联系的天气状况，以及如何在不同天气下如何应对，培养学生具有一定的环保意识、责任意识和关爱他人之心，达到人与自然的和谐。
