课程学习体会：
我是电会的一名学生，对于英语总是不敢开口讲，现在英语作为我们的一种必修语言，我们必须要学好这门课程。
为了增加自己对英语课程的认识我就报修了这门课程。
通过一个学期的学习，我们不断视、听、说使我学习了很多英语语言知识与应用技能、学习策略和跨文化交际等内容。
也拓宽了我们的知识面，培养了我们的文化素质，用语言载体让我们了解到了科学技术、西方社会文化。
这门课程使我们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效的进行口头和书面的信息交流，增强了我们的自主学习能力。
在课堂上，我们亲身参与，又有机会听到其他同学的见解，充分的开拓了自己的思路。
课堂上活跃的气氛也是我们有勇气自己开口说英语。
同时我也深刻地体会到学习英语的难度，也切实感受到英语这门语言所带给我的快乐与欣慰，发音问题一直很困扰我，在课上，我有更多的机会听到各种各样的发音，然后找出自己发音的不足，及时进行纠正。
一学期下来，我发现我主要是自己词汇量太少，不善于利用已有的知识，而且有些音标发音不太标准，这些都需要我在课余时间多加练习和交流。
并且我发现，了解西方文化对学习外语很重要。
因为，我们在学习中可以将它们与我们本国文化作对比，找出其中的差异，这样能帮助我们更好的理解英语语言文学，也就能更好的掌握它了。
在这方面我还有很多不足。
所以我决定积极参加英语方面的演讲等活动，促进与他人的交流。
运用自己的知识，积极在课堂上发言，敢于说出自己的观点和看法。
到现在为止，我很欣然的发现我的发音已经提高了很多，发音不是一蹴而就的，而是一个慢慢改善的过程。
流利的口语是必不可少的，现在的社会，不只是是笔头上的交流，更多的是口头上的交流。
只有一口流利的口语才能更容易彰显我们的优秀和与众不同，这样，我们才会拥有更多的机会获得我们理想的工作，完成我们追求的梦想。
所以我们需要有这样一种技巧，有这样一种自信，在公共场合，我们能够毫无畏惧的，坦然的，流利的用英语表达出自己的观点，并且做到游刃有余。
然而这次的公共选修课程正好使我在了解和掌握英语口语的基础上，加强英语口语句型的学习和应用，进一步熟悉常用句型，进而培养我们的口语表达能力和交际技巧。
