12英语A1 费文雅20124870852How to Deal with Discrimination and Injustice? From my point of view, it is hard to tell justice from injustice or distinguish discrimination from respect absolutely. Sometimes, it is quite a personal judgment to say whether one thing is unfair or not and whether one person is discriminated or not. But one thing is sure that discrimination and injustice are existing in everything, especially in many slight daily aspects. For example , we are more likely to be judged by appearance in the first sight.Nowadays, many people promote equality, respect and justice in our society .Men and women are required to be treated equally .Laws are issued to assert justice .Therefore, it is necessary for us to learn how to deal with discrimination and justice.First of all, we must massively assert our dignity and worth. Dignity is the soul of the body and the mind which support people to live with faith and love. A person without dignity will also lose his personality, principle and bottom moral line. Reports show that many poor people who are struggling to make a living are always at the high risk of homicide and committing criminal. So, to deal with discrimination and justice, people must stick to their dignity and develop the sense of values.Secondly, the pursuit of happiness will transform the discrimination and injustice into power. Motivation and enthusiasm will overwhelm despair .People try their best to overcome difficulties. The discrimination and injustice are just a stepping-stone on the way to success, freedom and peace. In history, the black strived to change the unchangeable situation of racial discrimination and struggled against the unfair treatments like the unbalanced payments. They broke the routine, show -ed their intelligence and strengthened their ability. And, many excellent black people stood out in the mainstream of the American history. So, never lose faith and never give up, although things might be unexpected, unwanted or uncertain. The pursuit of happiness will bring us the peace in the heart. To sum up, discrimination exactly exists in daily life. But it depends on our own attitudes and feelings when dealing with it. Dignity and happiness have the dominant influence in the whole life.。

Okhla, when we reached it, proved to be a scatter of huts with earthen walls plastered with cow-dung which kept the interiors cool during the day and was used as fuel when it had dried. There was an absurdly tiny shop whose proprietor was a member of the village panchayat—the five men who are traditionally elected as governors of the village. He acted as the village bank as well as the village
letter-writer. Like all Indian villages Okhla was deserted at that time in the morning. Most of the people were working in the fields, and the women had gathered at the well which was their meeting place and center of gossip. As we turned up the dry
earth track towards the school, the women stood with their terracotta urns on their heads watching us.
