数字的14种英语口语说法
今年是哪一年?你一定会说“二零一五年”，而不是“两千零十五年”。
但是对于“2008”，我们既可以说“二零零八年”，也可以说“两千零八年”。
可见，在不同的情况下我们对于数字的表述方式是不一样的。
不仅在汉语中如此，英语中对数字的表达更是灵活多变，而且表达习惯也与汉语大相径庭。
不过，英语数字的口语表达绝不是杂乱无章，也不是如教科书那般死板复杂的，其中到底有哪些规律章法可循呢?
同样是1999，年份与数字的念法有何不同?都是0，但为什么007和0.07发音不一样?汉语中的万：10,000该如何正确表达?
口语中如何表达数字?
1. 个位数：说法很简单，就一个数字。

没有比这更简单的了吧?
2. 两位数：说法也挺简单，除了11-20是eleven、twelve、thirteen…之外，20以上就是“几十+几”的构成方式(和汉语一样)，比如：
21 = twenty one
40 = forty
88 = eighty eight
99 = ninety nine.
那么现在问题来了，三位数的英文怎么说?
3. 三位数：传统的教学中，老师肯定和你说是用“多少hundred and加上两位数”的说法。
比如250就是two hundred and fifty。
不过这只是正式的说法，但实际生活中需要这么正式吗?老外其实也觉得麻烦，所以实际生活中你会发现老外很多人其实是这么说的：
two fifty
简单吧?人家老外用的是“百位数的单个数字+两位数”的说法来简化的(当然整百的就不用简化了)，比如250就分成2和50来说。
我们来看看更多例子：
123 = one twenty three
240 = two forty
567 = five sixty seven
666 = six sixty six…
4. 四位数：在传统的教学中，老师也会和你说要用thousand，比如“多少thousand加上多少hundred and加上两位数”。
但这也是正式的说法。
如果一直都这么说，那一个商品在搞促销，以9998的价格出售，你岂不是要说“nine thousand nine hundred and ninety eight”这么一长串数字了吗?其实在生活中没有那么复杂，四位数和三位数一样以两位数为界限进行分隔。
比如9998这个数字，就可以分成99和98来念：
ninety nine ninety eight
你发现了吧，这组词的长度比课堂里老师教你的要短了一倍(不过整千的也不用简化)。
来看看更多的例子：

1200 = twelve hundred(整百可以这样表达)
6660 = sixty six sixty
8080 = eighty eighty…
5. 五位数及六位数：你会想，五位数不就是“万”吗?百是hundred，千是thousand，那么万是什么?这里让你失望了，英语里并没有“万”的概念，汉语里的“一万”在英语里就是“ten thousand(十千)”。
现在你明白为什么逗号要写在千位数上了吧?因为老外就是以千作为单位来算的。
不过，总是说thousand是不是感觉很麻烦?其实你在说话时可以用K来代替这个单词。
10,000 = ten K(一万)
15,000 = fifteen K(一万五千)
200,000 = two hundred K(二十万)
950,000 = nine hundred and fifty K(九十五万)
6. 七位数：前面说了，老外以四位数(千)作为大数字的基本单位，所以多于3个零时就会划一个逗号。
而七位数的后面正好有6个零，有两个逗号，不过它可不会因此被称为“千千”，而是进化成了“million(百万)”。
1,000,000 = one million(一百万)
10,000,000 = ten million(一千万)
100,000,000 = one hundred million(一亿)
7. 十位数：到了十位数，后头跟了9个零，这时候我们用的称呼又该进化了，成了“billion(十亿)”。
1,000,000,000 = one billion(十亿)…
再往后的数字就大得没底了，讲到地球毁灭华生都和你说不完，所以就此打住吧。
总之你记得英语中的习惯是以3个零为单位划逗号的就行。
不过我想，你在生活中能用到这么大数字的机会也很小……如果你是Bill Gates那就当我没说。
大数字这里说得差不多了，那是不是该实际用用看?比如英语里的年份该如何表达。
8. 三位数年：可以用书面语的方式表达，如：
the year 230 = the year two hundred and thirty
the year 999 = the year nine hundred and ninety nine
但同样可以遵从第3条的三位数简化法则，如：
the year 230 = the year two thirty
the year 999 = the year nine ninety nine
9. 四位数年：遵从第4条的四位数简化法则，如：
the year 1949 = the year nineteen forty nine
the year 1998 = the year nineteen ninety eight
10. 2000年至2009年的说法：由于只有个位数，所以就说成：
2000 = two thousand
2008 = two thousand and eight
11. 2010年以后的说法：由于又有了十位数，所以还是可以用和第9条一样的说法，如：
2010 = twenty ten
2015 = twenty fifteen
但也可以继续用10条的说法，如：
2010 = two thousand and ten
2015 = two thousand and fifteen
年份也说得差不多了，我们来看看其他的一些数字表达方式和法则吧。
12. 分数的说法：分数的口述表达法则是“分子+分母”，其中分母要用序数表示(像third, fourth, fifth这种)比如：
1/2 = one half(这个属于特例)
1/3 = one third
1/4 = one fourth
2/3 = tow thirds(分子不为1时要给分母的序数加s)
3/4 = three fourths
4/5 = four fifths…
13. 百分比的说法：百分比的英文单词是“percent”，是这么用的：
1% = one percent
10% = ten percent
99% = ninety nine percent
100% = one hundred percent
14. 零的英文发音：这个算是比较特别的数字了，因为零正常的英语发音是“zero”，但有时候它会被简化成字母“o”的发音。
不过，并不是所有的zero都可以这么简化。
表示精确数字的零要读zero：
0.5 = zero point five
0.14 = zero point one four
0C = zero degrees(零摄氏度)
号码中的零可以读成o：
110 = one one o
10010 = one o o one o
