单元内容分析教材以故事作为每个单元的开始,使学生在有意义、有趣味的故事、体验语言理解、和体验的基础上,在后续的课时中再专项学习词汇、句型,做听说读写的技能训练。

本单元的话题是About me,语言的功能是打招呼、介绍自己。

第一、二课呈现本单元的主题故事,目的是使学生通过读故事、看故事、听故事,理解打招呼、询问别人姓名等表达方式的意思,体会语言使用的情景,渗透语用意识。

故事中,Mocky与Ann,Ken从不认识到认识,通过他们之间的对话呈现了打招呼、介绍自己的姓名、询问别入姓名的表达方式。

插图、情景、人物动作配合人物的对话,这样的呈现方式有利于学生达到《标准(2011 年版)》一级技能目标中“能在图片的帮助下读懂简单的小故事”的相关要求。

故事中多次复现了主要句型,例如图3-5,都是询问和说明姓名的内容,这是为了语言学习的需要,也符合儿童的学习特点。
