The Magical TreehouseOne day, while Sara was playing in her backyard, she discovered a small and peculiar treehouse. She had never seen it before. It was covered in vines and had a mysterious aura.Sara climbed up into the treehouse and found herself in a magical world. The walls were covered in colorful drawings, and there were shelves filled with books and toys. She couldn't believe her eyes!As she explored further, Sara noticed a tiny doorway that led to another room. Inside, she found a group of talking animals. 绘本“My friend”与译林版《英语》三(上)Unit 3融合教学设计

小学教学计·英语2021/07“合理开发和积极利用课程资源是有效实施英语课程的保证”(教育部,2012)。

作为教材的有益补充,绘本图文并茂,情节生动,学生读起来朗朗上口。

“与教材相比,绘本在培养学生英语阅读素养方面有明显的优势”(王蔷,敖娜仁图雅,2017)。

利用其丰富的图文资源,绘本能激活学生思维,促进心智发展;其次,绘本教学还能引导学生关注阅读方法,形成阅读策略,助力自主学习,最终形成阅读品格,提升阅读素养。

绘本“My Friend ”选自《攀登英语阅读系列分级阅读》第二级,本文以此绘本为例,试析绘本与教材融合的教学实践。

一、绘本与教材融合视角(一)基于语言认知的融合1.知识复现的融合绘本“My Friend ”采用了一般现在时,虽然生词较多,但大多都能根据图片推理猜测,出现最多的句型She is...是本单元的教学重点。

整个故事围绕friend 展开描述,但没有直接呈现朋友是谁,而是在逐步描述中让学生领会原来主人公的朋友就是自己的影子,故事情节趣味性十足。

2.语言拓展的融合学生在教材中已经学会用句型He/She is...介绍自己的朋友,而绘本“My Friend ”更侧重于用句型表达朋友的特征,如Sometimes my friend...这些都是对教材内容的扩充,能丰富学生的口语表达,提升学生的综合语用能力。

(二)基于主题意义的融合1.话题贴切,激发童趣小学低年级学生刚开始学习英语,尽量为他们选择一些图片童真、内容简单、语言重复的绘本(王英,2013)。

教材三(上)Unit 3单元话题是“朋友”,绘本故事“My Friend ”则进一步描述了朋友的特征,两者话题有一定的关联性。

相同话题不同内容的故事表达,能让学生产生好奇心,激发他们的阅读兴趣。

2.角度互补,激发思考教材中谈论的朋友是身边的同学,而绘本故事“My Friend ”谈论的朋友是主人公的影子。

教材和绘本从两个不同的角度讲述“朋友”的故事,拓展了学生的视野,原来朋友可以来自不同的形式,可以有不同的定义,这为学生表述这一话题提供了多样视角。
