It's the only place we know of that has people, animals, trees, oceans, and everything else we love. But sadly, our planet is getting sicker and sicker because of some not-so-great things that humans have been doing. That's why we all need to be Environmental Heroes and make some changes to help heal the Earth! What's Making the Earth Sick? The biggest problem is something called pollution. This happens when we release too many dirty gases and chemicals into the air, water, and soil. It comes from factories, cars, trash, and other stuff we make or do. Pollution is pretty much like giving the Earth a horrible cough or fever that doesn't go away.Another issue is that we're using up the Earth's resources way too quickly. We cut down trees and dig up coal, oil and other fuels faster than nature can make new ones. Trees are like theplanet's air fresheners - they help clean the air we breathe. And those fuels like coal and oil put out terrible smoke and chemicals when we burn them. Not cool!Climate change is one of the worst side effects of all this pollution and over-using resources. It's making the whole planet get warmer in a bad way. The warmer temperatures are melting the ice at the North and South Poles, causing seas to rise up, creating crazy storms, and disrupting plant and animal life all over. Yikes! So How Can We Be Environmental Heroes? The awesome news is that there are lots of fun and easy ways we kids can help nurse the planet back to health! We just need to have an "Eco-Friendly Lifestyle" - that means making choices that don't hurt the environment. At Home:• Unplug electronics like TVs, computers and video games when you're not using them so they don't waste energy• Take short showers instead of baths to save water• Recycle paper, plastic, glass and metal stuff instead of throwing it away• Eat more fruits, veggies, grains and plant-based foods instead of meat (cows produce a lot of pollution)• Use both sides of paper before recycling itAt School:• Pack a litter-less lunch using reusable containers instead of disposable bags and bottles• Borrow books from the library instead of al ways buying new ones• Reuse plastic folders, binders and notebooks year after year• Walk, bike, ride the bus, or carpool to school instead of getting rides in a carOut & About:• Pick up litter when you see it at parks, beaches, etc. and put it in the trash/recycling bin• Plant trees, flowers or foods like veggies, herbs or fruit to create new green spaces• Volunteer for park/beach/community clean-ups and conservation projects• Spread the word about protecting the planet by making posters and telling friends/familyThese are just some ideas, but I'm sure you creative kids can think of many more ways to go green and reduce waste! Every little eco-friendly act adds up to make a huge difference for the health of our one-and-only Earth. The most important thing is that we don't give up. Healing our sick planet won't happen overnight, but if we all work together as Environmental Heroes, we can totally do it! Let's keep our air, land and water clean and protected for all the future kids, animals and plants. The Earth is our one-and-only home in the whole universe, so let's take really good care of it!篇2Let's Go Green: A Kid's Guide to Saving the PlanetHey friends! Have you ever thought about how much trash we make every day? Or how much energy we use just by leaving the lights on? Well, it's time we all did something to help take better care of our planet Earth. The environment is super important and we need to protect it by living a low-carbon life. Don't worry, it's not as hard as it sounds! What is a Low-Carbon Life?Basically, it means making choices that don't create as much pollution or greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide. These gases are making our planet warmer, causing crazy weather, melting icebergs, and hurting animal habitats. Not cool! By using less energy from fossil fuels like oil, gas and coal, we can reduce our carbon footprint. That just means the amount of carbon we put into the environment. So how can kids like us help? There are actually lots of easy, fun ways to go green at home, at school, and while playing outside. Let me share some awesome tips to protect the environment and live a low-carbon lifestyle. At HomeDid you know that our houses use tons of energy for heating, cooling, lights and electronics? And a lot of that energy comes from fossil fuels that pollute the air. The good news is we can cut down our carbon footprint at home by following some simple steps:Lights Out! Make sure to turn off lights when you leave a room. You can also open blinds for natural light instead of flipping on lamps.Thermostat Smarts. In winter, put on a cozy sweater and keep the heat a little lower. In summer, don't blast the AC too much. Making small adjustments can save energy.Unplug It. Battery chargers, computers and other electronics still use energy when plugged in. Unplug them when you're done to stop wasting power.Recycle Cycle. Don't just toss out bottles, cans, paper and plastic. Separate your recyclables so they can be reused and made into new products.Stop Leaks. Dripping faucets and running toilets can waste tons of water. Be a leak detective and fix them to conserve water.Easy peasy, right? By doing these simple things at home, you're already helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Give yourself a high five!At SchoolSchools can be pretty wasteful places with all the lights, computers, cafeteria trash and buses running all the time. But there are ways we students can make our schools greener:Ditch The Disposables. Bring a reusable lunch bag, water bottle and utensils instead of using paper, plastic and styrofoam. Less trash is always best!Share Smarts. Teach your classmates about conservation. Make posters, give presentations and share tips on reducing, reusing and recycling.Green Outdoors. If your school has a garden, help plant trees, flowers and vegetables. Plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen.Walk This Way. Walk, bike or carpool to school instead of getting dropped off. It's excellent exercise and cuts down on car emissions.Save Power. Unplug computers, turn off projectors and lights, and close blinds when you're the last one out of a room. Saving energy rocks! When we all work together at school to reduce waste and save power, we can cut our carbon footprint big time. How's that for being an eco-warrior?Outdoor ExploringOne of the best ways to appreciate nature is to spend time outside. And the cool thing is, you can still be environmentally-friendly while having fun! Here are some tips for low-carbon outdoor adventures:Waste-Free Exploring. Pack snacks and drinks in reusable containers, not disposable ones. And bring a bag to collect any trash you find for proper disposal later.Recycled Playtime. Get creative and build forts, toys and artwork using natural materials like sticks, leaves and rocks. Way better than plastic!Park Smart. Walk, bike or take public transportation instead of driving to parks or hiking trails. You can even organize a neighborhood clean-up day.Water Wisely. Turn off sprinklers when it rains and only water plants in the early morning or late evening to prevent evaporation.Plant Pals. Put some seedlings or flowers in the ground to attract birds, bees and butterflies. They're important plant helpers!Spending time outdoors reminds us how amazing nature is and why we need to take care of the air, land and water. Plus, all that fresh air and exercise is just what you need!So there you have it - easy ways to live a low-carbon,eco-friendly lifestyle right from your home, school and the great outdoors. Every little step makes a difference for our planet. If weall work together and make some small changes, we can fight climate change and have a cleaner, greener Earth. What are you waiting for? Go green today and help spread the word! The future of our planet is kind of a big deal. I know we can do this, friends! Let's make the world a better place and save the Earth, one low-carbon action at a time.篇3Say No to Pollution, Yes to Clean Air and Water!Hi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something super important - taking care of our planet Earth. You see, Earth is like a big spaceship and we're all crew members flying through space. Just like we need to keep our spaceship clean and working right, we need to keep our planet healthy too.The big problem is pollution. Pollution is all the yucky stuff that gets released into the air, water, and land that makes it dirty and unsafe. Things like smoke from factories, trash in the ocean, and chemicals sprayed on plants. All that pollution is really bad news for the plants, animals, and even us humans! One of the biggest causes of pollution is burning fossil fuels like oil, gas, and coal. We use fossil fuels to power our cars, heat our homes, and make electricity. But when we burn them, itreleases greenhouse gases into the air. Greenhouse gases cause climate change by trapping heat in our atmosphere, making the whole planet get warmer over time. You've probably heard about climate change on the news. It's making the polar ice caps melt, sea levels rise, weather get more extreme with hurricanes and droughts, and animals' habitats disappear. If we don't stop climate change, many animals could go extinct and people won't have clean air or water. That's really scary! So what can we do to help? We need to reduce our carbon footprint. Your carbon footprint is how much greenhouse gas emissions are caused by your lifestyle - like driving a gas car or leaving lights on when you're not using them. The smaller your footprint, the better for the planet! The best solution is choosing a low-carbon lifestyle. That means making choices that don't release as much carbon pollution and greenhouse gases. It's actually pretty easy if we all pitch in! Here are some tips:Save energy by turning off lights, unplugging electronics, and keeping rooms at reasonable temperatures. Energy saved means less coal and gas getting burned.Reduce, reuse, recycle! Cut down on plastic waste, reuse items instead of throwing them out, and recycle paper, bottles, and cans. Manufacturing new stuff releases a ton of emissions.Eat more plant-based foods like fruits, veggies, beans, and grains. Raising cows and animals for meat causes a lot of greenhouse gas emissions.Walk, bike, take public transportation or carpool as much as you can instead of having your parents drive you everywhere. Gasoline vehicles pollute the air.Plant trees! Trees absorb carbon dioxide from the air and give us clean oxygen to breathe.Pick up litter and don't litter in the first place. Keeping our neighborhoods clean helps prevent pollution from ending up in waterways.Spread the word! Tell your friends and family about reducing their carbon footprints too. The more people who make an effort, the bigger difference we can make.It might seem like just a few small kids can't do much to help the planet. But if we all make little changes, it adds up to something huge! Imagine how amazing it would be if every school, every town, every country took steps towards low-carbonliving. We could make such a wonderful green world for animals and people. So what do you say, friends? Will you join me in taking the Low-Carbon Lifestyle Challenge? We can be Earth superheroes! Let's work together to reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. We only have one planet, so we need to take really good care of it. The future is in our hands!篇4Title: Let's Save Our Planet Together!Hi friends! My name is Alex and I'm here to talk about something super important - taking care of our amazing planet Earth! Our planet is like a huge spaceship sailing through the universe, carrying all of us humans along with billions of awesome plants and animals. But recently, us Earthlings haven't been very good crew members. We've been making a real mess by burning too much fuel from cars, factories and power plants. This releases bad gases that get trapped in the atmosphere, causing the whole planet to heat up - kind of like putting a big blanket around the Earth! This "global warming" is causing big problems like melting ice caps, rising sea levels, crazy weather, and animals losing their homes. It's a huge bummer. But don't worry, there's still time for us kids to turn things around and be environmental heroes! All we have to do is make some simple changes to reduce our "carbon footprint." That's just a fun way of saying we need to cut back on the amount of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases we release into the air. Ready to get started? Here are some easy tips:At Home:• Turn off lights when you leave a room - this saves energy!• Unplug electronics like TVs, computers and phones when not in use so they don't waste power.• Ask your parents to set the heat and AC a few degrees cooler in winter/warmer in summer.• Take shorter showers to save hot water.• Eat more fruits, veggies, grains and plant-based foods instead of meat and dairy.• Start a compost bin f or food scraps instead of throwing them in the trash. At School:• Pack a litter-less lunch in reusable containers instead of disposable baggies and wrappers.• Recycle paper, plastic and cans in the proper bins.• Bring a refillable water bottle instead of disposable plastic bottles.• Walk, bike, carpool or take the bus instead of getting rides in separate cars.• Join (or start!) an environmental club to raise awareness and do community projects.Out & About:• When shopping, say "no thanks!" to unnecessary plastic bags. Bring your own reusable totes.• Buy secondhand clothes, toys, books and other items when possible instead of buying new.• Pick up litter whenever you see it to keep your neighborhood clean.• Plant trees, flowers or an edible garden to absorb carbon dioxide and beautify your community.See, it's really easy when we all pitch in! And along with reducing greenhouse gas emissions, these habits will also reduce waste, conserve resources and prevent pollution. That's a huge win for our planet's air, land and water.I know change can be hard at first. You might have to remind your parents, teachers or friends about your green routine. But before you know it, these earth-friendly behaviors will become second nature. Just keep spreading the word and setting a good example for others to follow!Looking around at all the beauty and diversity our world has to offer, it would be an absolute tragedy to lose it to environmental damage. This is our one and only home in the entire universe. So let's take care of it, starting right now! I'll do my part if you do yours, friend. Deal? The future of planet Earth is in OUR hands!篇5Let's Be Green Heroes and Save Our Planet!Hi friends! I'm here to talk to you about something super important - taking care of our amazing planet Earth. You've probably heard about things like pollution, climate change, andprotecting the environment. Well, it's time for us kids to step up and be real-life green heroes! Our planet is like a huge camping site, and we're all sharing this one tent called Earth. If we make too much of a mess and waste lots of things, pretty soon there won't be any space left to live comfortably. That's why we need to go green and live alow-carbon life. Let me explain what that means. You know when your parents drive a car and it lets out smoke from the exhaust pipe? That smoke has something called carbon dioxide in it. Carbon dioxide is a gas that traps heat from the sun and makes our planet warmer - kind of like a big cozy blanket. A little bit of that heat-trapping is okay, but too much can cause big problems like melting ice caps, rising sea levels, extreme weather, and animals losing their homes.A low-carbon life means doing things that don't release as much carbon dioxide and other gases into the air. By going green, we can be superheroes protecting the Earth! Here are some ways we can cut down on carbon:Reducing, Reusing, RecyclingThose 3 R's are so important! We need to cut down on waste by reducing how much stuff we use and buy. Reusing things likebags, bottles, and containers instead of throwing them out. And recycling paper, plastic, glass, and metals so they can be made into new products instead of ending up in landfills.Save Energy, Save Our PlanetElectricity comes from power plants that burn fuels and release carbon dioxide. We can save energy by turning off lights when leaving a room, unplugging chargers when not in use, and using fans instead of air conditioning when possible.Energy-saving lightbulbs are also a bright idea!Go Veggie-LiciousDid you know that raising animals for meat releases a lot of greenhouse gases? Cutting back on meat, even for a day or two per week, can reduce your carbon footprint. Load up on delicious veggie dishes and plant-based meals instead!Leave the Car at HomeOne of the biggest sources of carbon emissions is gasoline from driving cars and vehicles. Whenever possible, we should walk, bike, take public transit or carpool to cut back on pollution from too much driving. It's great exercise and way more fun than being stuck in traffic!Be Conservation ChampsWe can protect forests, wetlands, and habitats for plants and animals by conserving resources like water, paper, and electricity. Taking shorter showers, fixing leaks, recycling paper, and turning off electronics when not in use are super ways to conserve.Plant for the PlanetTrees are like superhero filters that take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen for us to breathe. The more trees and plants we have, the better! We can plant trees, start a community garden, and take care of houseplants to do our part.Spread the Green MessageFinally, we can encourage our families, friends, classmates, and communities to live a low-carbon lifestyle too. We're all in this together, so we need to share tips, make green choices, and inspire others to care for our planet.I know it might seem like a lot, but taking small green steps can make a huge difference when millions of kids join in. We have a powerful opportunity to create a cleaner, healthier, and safer world for ourselves and future generations.Just imagine - by going green and cutting carbon, we can be real-life environmental heroes! We can help stop climate change, protect animals and their homes, and make sure the air, land, and waters stay clean and healthy for everyone to enjoy. We can be the generation that saves the planet! So what do you say, friends? Are you ready to take thelow-carbon challenge and live a greener life? Let's make a pinky-swear promise to do our part, have fun while being green heroes, and keep our one-and-only Earth safe for all! Our future is counting on us!。

Let's work together to keep our planet healthy and happy for future generations. Remember, every little action we take can make a big difference. Let's go green and save our planet! Thank you!篇10Hey guys,I want to talk about something super important today - protecting our environment! We only have one planet, so we need to take care of it. Here are some ideas on how we can protect the environment:1. Reduce, reuse, recycle: Let's try to use less plastic and paper. We can bring our own reusable bags to the store, use a water bottle instead of buying plastic bottles, and recycle our old items.2. Save energy: Turn off the lights when you leave a room, unplug chargers when you're not using them, and useenergy-efficient appliances.3. Plant trees: Trees are so important for our environment. They give us oxygen, clean the air, and provide a home for animals. Let's plant trees in our neighborhood and take care of them.4. Clean up litter: If you see trash on the ground, pick it up and throw it away in the proper bin. We can also organize clean-up events with our friends and family to make our community cleaner.5. Spread the word: Let's tell our family and friends about the importance of protecting the environment. The more people know, the more they can help.Remember, every little thing we do makes a difference. Let's work together to protect our planet and make it a better place for everyone.Love,[Your name]。

英语高考关于保护环境的倡议书作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Green World for Green KidsMy name is Emily and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. I love playing outside, climbing trees, and exploring nature. The woods behind my house are my favorite place in the whole world. But I'm really worried that the beautiful forests, rivers, and animals I love so much are in danger because of pollution and people not taking care of the environment. That's why I'm writing this to ask everyone to please protect the planet and go green! It makes me so sad to see trash on the ground when I go to the park or the beach. Why do people just throw their plastic bottles, bags, and wrappers on the floor instead of in the trash can? Don't they know that plastic doesn't dissolve and can hurt animals who might eat it or get tangled up in it? My mom always makes sure to recycle our plastic, glass, and metal at home. It's not that hard to do the right thing! The oceans are also getting really dirty from oil spills, sewage, and garbage being dumped into them from ships and storm drains. Have you seen those awful pictures of birds and fish covered in thick black oil? It breaks my heart. Marine life is precious and we need to protect it. My dad is a marine biologist and he's very worried about coral reefs dying and entire ecosystems collapsing because of water pollution. But the biggest threat to Mother Nature is definitely climate change and global warming caused by humans burning oil, gas, and coal for energy. My teacher showed us a video about polar bears struggling to survive because the ice caps are melting from rising temperatures. Their homes are literally melting away! If we don't stop pumping out greenhouse gases soon, scientists say many animals could go extinct and coastal cities could get flooded from higher sea levels.I know it's not fair to expect kids like me to solve this huge environmental crisis all alone. But every little bit of effort helps and we can push the grown-ups to do better by setting a good example ourselves and speaking up. Here are some things I think kids and families should do to protect the planet:Reduce, reuse, recycle! Cut down on plastic use by carrying a reusable water bottle and saying no to straws and plastic bagswhen possible. Recycle any plastic, glass, metal and paper you do use. Repurpose items rather than just throwing them out.Save energy by turning off lights, electronics, and heat/AC when not needed. Take shorter showers. Walk, bike or use public transportation instead of driving when you can. Push your parents to use LED bulbs and energy efficient appliances.Choose sustainable and locally-grown foods when possible. Processed snacks create a lot of waste from packaging. Growing fruits and veggies in your own garden is best! Eat less meat, which has a bigger environmental impact.Reduce water use by taking shorter showers, fixing leaks, and not wasting water carelessly. Collect rainwater to use for plants.Don't litter! Pick up any trash you see on the ground and dispose of it properly. Organize community clean-ups for parks and beaches.Plant trees and gardens to support biodiversity and create habitats for animals. Let lawns grow longer to support bees.Join an environmental club at school or in your community. Some groups do things like beach clean-ups, recycling drives, and letter-writing campaigns.Be vocal! Write letters to government leaders and companies pushing them to prioritize renewable energy and sustainability. Organize rallies and protests to raise awareness.Start simple habits at a young age like turning off lights when leaving a room, bringing reusable bags for shopping, and throwing away trash properly.I try my best to do all of these things, but my family still has a long way to go to being really green. It's not always easy to change habits. But we have to try for the sake of the beautiful world we live in!I recently saw a quote that said "Environmental protection isa universal responsibility." That's so true! Every single person needs to do their part. We can't just think "I'm just one person, it doesn't matter what I do." Because when billions of humans don't care and are wasteful, it creates a massive篇2倡议书:保护我们的环境,让地球更美好!亲爱的同学们:大家好!我是你们的好朋友,今天我想和大家谈一谈保护环境的重要性。

垃圾分类保护环境英语作文倡议书全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1Recycling is Super Important for Our Planet!Hi everyone! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to talk to you about something that is really, really important for the Earth and for all of us - recycling!I'm sure you've all heard about recycling before. It's when we take things that we've already used, like plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, and glass, and put them into special bins instead of just throwing them into the trash. Then, those recycled materials get taken away and turned into new products again instead of ending up in landfills or the ocean.Recycling is so great because it helps protect the environment in a few different ways. First, when we recycle things, it means we don't have to go out and use new raw materials from the Earth to make new stuff. We can just re-use the old materials over and over again! This helps save trees, metal ores, oil and other natural resources that get used up when we make products from scratch.Second, recycling cuts down on pollution and waste. Making products from recycled materials creates way less air and water pollution compared to making things from new raw materials. And of course, all that recycled stuff doesn't end up getting buried in landfills or floating around in the ocean as litter.Third, recycling saves energy! It takes a lot less energy and electricity to recycle and re-use materials compared to having to extract new raw materials from the ground and then process them into new products. Just think about how much work and energy it takes to drill for oil, mine for metal, cut down trees, etc. Using recycled stuff avoids all that hard work!I could go on and on about the benefits, but I think you get the idea - recycling is amazing for the planet! However, sometimes it feels like people don't take it seriously enough. My friends and I see people at school, at restaurants, at parks and other places just tossing away plastic, cans, paper and glass into the regular trash all the time without even thinking about it.That's why I'm here today - to convince all of you how wildly important it is that we make recycling a way bigger priority! The Earth is our home and we have to take really good care of it. If we keep wasting resources, creating pollution, and letting plastic and garbage pile up, it's going to make the planet a real mess. The air could get too polluted to breathe easily, the water could get too dirty to swim or fish in, the land could get covered in trash, and animals could get really sick from eating plastic and other garbage. Yuck! We're the future of this planet, so we have to be the ones to step up and make positive changes happen through recycling. Imagine how much better the world could be if everyone made an effort to recycle as much as possible. The air would be fresher, the water would be cleaner, the land would have way less litter, and the animals would be healthier. What's not to love about that future?!So here's what we need to do. First, we all have to get into the habit of always looking for recycling bins, no matter where we are. Don't be lazy and just toss that can or bottle into the trash - take a few extra seconds to find the recycling bin. If there isn't one around, take your recyclables home with you.Next, we need to make sure our families are also being smart about recycling at home. Get separate recycling bins for different materials, and make sure everyone in your house knows what can and can't be recycled. Things like paper, plastic bottles and containers, aluminum cans, glass jars and bottles, and cardboardboxes can usually all be recycled. But you have to rinse them out first before putting them in the recycling bin.We can also encourage our schools, towns and communities to have more and bigger recycling programs. The more convenient and easy it is for people to recycle, the more likely they'll actually do it. We could get our class or school to run a recycling drive or campaign. Or we could write letters to our community leaders saying we want more public recycling bins in parks, on sidewalks, at the town pool and other places.Another thing we can all try to do is cut back on using things that can't be easily recycled or reused, like single-use plastics. Bringing reusable water bottles, grocery bags and lunch containers is a great way to cut down on waste. Buying products with less plastic packaging is another smart move.If we all make an effort and work together, I really believe we can make the world a much better, cleaner, healthier place through the power of recycling! We've got to be environmentally superheroes and save the day. The Earth is counting on all of us to step it up and get serious about recycling. Who's with me?!篇2My Plea for a Clean World: Why We Must Sort Our TrashHi friends! My name is Tommy and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary School. I've got something really important I want to talk to you about today – taking care of our beautiful planet Earth!Have you ever thought about where your trash goes after you throw it away? I used to just toss everything into the same bin without a second thought. But then I learned that trash doesn't just disappear into thin air! It has to go somewhere. And a lot of the stuff we throw out can actually hurt Mother Nature if we're not careful. You see, some things we throw away are made of materials that can be recycled and reused over and over again to make new products. That's awesome because it saves energy and natural resources. But other stuff we toss out is made of plastics, chemicals, and other yukky materials that can pollute the air, water, and soil when they're just dumped into a landfill. That's why it's so important for all of us to sort our trash properly and put different kinds of waste into separate bins –one for recyclables like bottles, cans, and paper, and another bin just for typical household garbage that can't be recycled. That way, the good stuff can get turned into new things and the yukkystuff can be disposed of properly so it doesn't make a gross mess in nature.I know what you might be thinking – sorting trash sounds like a lot of extra work, right? Believe me, I get it. When I first learned about the importance of garbage sorting, I wasn't too excited about having to separate out my juice boxes from my banana peels. It seemed like such a hassle! But then my teacher Ms. Roberts showed us some really sad pictures of marine animals caught in plastic garbage floating in the ocean. We saw birds with bellies full of bottle caps they had accidentally eaten. We saw seals and turtles all tangled up in plastic soda rings. It was heartbreaking! Suddenly, taking a few extra seconds to sort my trash didn't seem like such a big deal.Ms. Roberts also explained how improperly disposed trash can contaminate the soil and water, making it dangerous for people, animals, and plants. Toxic chemicals and pollutants can even get into the food we eat and the air we breathe if we're not careful about managing our waste responsibly. No thanks! I definitely don't want to get sick from eating a contaminated burger or taking a deep breath of smoggy air. Do you?The more I learned, the more I realized that sorting our garbage is one of the easiest and most important things we canall do every single day to take better care of the environment. It's such a simple habit too – at home, school, or out running errands, we just need to take a few extra seconds to separate paper from plastic, compost from aluminum, and so on. If all of us do our part, it adds up to make a huge positive impact. We're the future inheritors and protectors of this planet, so it's up to us kids to lead the way in showing our families and communities how to be more environmentally responsible. We have to speak up and take action now before it's too late!I recently started a Garbage Sorting Club at my school to help spread awareness and get more students on board with proper waste disposal. A few of my buddies and I made posters and gave presentations in each classroom, explaining the basics of sorting trash into different bins. We even got permission to place dedicated recycling and compost bins around campus so it's easy for everyone to sort their waste. It's been awesome to see my friends, teachers, and the whole school really embrace garbage sorting over the past few months. Almost everyone is on board now and it's becoming a good habit. The best part is knowing that we're doing our part to reduce litter, conserve resources, and protect animals and ecosystems from pollution. Just imagine how incredible it wouldbe if every single school, household, and business properly sorted their trash! What a cleaner, greener world we could create for ourselves and future generations. So that's my passionate plea to all of you – please, please, PLEASE start sorting your trash properly if you aren't already doing so. Put recyclable items in one bin, compostable stuff in another, and regular garbage in a third. It's such a simple thing that takes just a few extra seconds but makes a world of difference for the health of our planet.Don't just take my word for it though. I encourage you to do your own research and see the staggering statistics on waste pollution and its harmful effects. Learn about how the simple act of sorting trash reduces greenhouse gas emissions, conserves natural habitats, and prevents animals from getting sick or injured from eating and getting tangled in plastic waste. You'll be shocked and motivated to change once you see the cold, hard facts. We all need to be environmental superheroes and take responsibility for the trash we create every single day. Sorting our garbage is something we can all do lickety-split to reduce waste, reuse valuable materials, and recycle stuff instead of just burying it underground in a landfill and forgetting about it. Everybit of sorted and diverted waste makes a positive impact and brings us one step closer to a cleaner, healthier planet for all.I truly believe that if we all work together on this, we kids can show our families the right way to sort trash. Then our families can inspire our communities, our communities can motivate entire cities, and cities can inspire states and countries to properly handle waste disposal. Before you know it, good garbage sorting habits could spread to every corner of the globe! It all starts with each of us making that conscious choice to sort our trash, though. It starts with taking those extra few seconds instead of tossing all our waste into one big bin. We've got to look at garbage sorting not as a chore, but as a chance to be environmental superheroes and clean up our planet, one bag of sorted trash at a time.Who's with me? Let's get sorting and make the world a tidier, greener, more beautiful place for all living things! The future of planet Earth is in our hands, so lets join together and take that first crucial step towards preserving it. Sort your trash today to ensure a clean tomorrow! Thanks for listening, friends!篇3Saving Our Planet by Sorting Our Trash!Hi friends! My name is Tommy and I'm here to tell you about something super important - protecting our planet Earth! Have you ever thought about where your trash goes after you throw it away? Well, a lot of it ends up in big smelly landfills or even worse, in our beautiful oceans and forests. This is really bad for the environment and all the plants and animals that live there. But there's something we can do to help - garbage sorting! By putting different kinds of trash in separate bins, we can make sure it gets recycled or disposed of properly instead of polluting our earth. Sounds pretty cool, right? Let me explain a little more. There are usually a few different bins for sorting trash. One is for plastic bottles, cans, and other recyclable materials. When you recycle these items instead of just throwing them away, they get made into new products! That means we save energy and natural resources. Pretty neat!Another bin is for food scraps and yard waste like grass clippings or leaves. This "organic" trash can be turned into compost, which is super nutritious soil that helps plants grow big and strong. Doesn't that make you want to compost your banana peels and apple cores? Then there's a bin for paper products like newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes and so on. Like plastic and metal, this paper can be recycled into new paper goods instead of being wasted. Recycling one ton of paper can save 17 trees! Talk about being an environmental superhero. The last main bin is for general trash - anything that can't be recycled or composted. Things like plastic wrappers, styrofoam, and broken toys. We want this bin to be as empty as possible to reduce waste going to those yucky landfills.By putting each type of trash in its proper place, we make sure valuable materials get reused instead of being wasted. And we cut way down on the pollution that's hurting our planet's forests, rivers, oceans and air. The Earth is our home and we need to take good care of it!Sorting our garbage is such an easy way for kids like you and me to make a big difference. At home, at school, at the park - we should always try to recycle and compost as much as possible. It's good for the environment and it feels good to do the right thing, doesn't it?Just imagine, if everybody sorted their trash carefully, how much cleaner and greener our world would be! We could save millions of trees, tons of plastic would never reach the ocean, and our drinking water and air would stay fresh and pure. Animals would have nice healthy habitats to live in safely. What a beautiful world that would be! One where trees and flowers can bloom, fish can swim without getting tangled in trash, and birds have plenty of room to fly free. A world with clean parks to play in and fresh air to breathe. This is the world I want for me, for you, for all of our families and friends. So let's get sorting! At home, ask your mom or dad to get some separate bins for recycling, composting and regular trash. At school, make sure you use the right bins and encourage your classmates to do the same. Every bottle or can you recycle, every banana peel you compost, every little bit helps! We're all Planet Protectors working together. It's up to us kids to take care of the Earth. The grown-ups haven't done a great job so far, but we can show them how it's done. Let's make the world clean and green again, one sorted bag of trash at a time! Who's with me?If we all do our part with garbage sorting, we can create a beautiful healthy planet for ourselves and every living creature. So let's get started today, Planet Protectors! Our future is counting on us.篇4Saving the Earth by Recycling!Hi friends! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about something super important - taking care of our beautiful planet Earth! We only have one Earth, so we need to protect it. One of the best ways we can help is by recycling our trash properly. What is recycling? It's taking materials that we usually throw away, like plastic bottles, cans, paper, and cardboard, and turning them into new products instead of just putting them in the trash. This saves energy and natural resources that would be used to make new products from scratch. Why is recycling so important? Well, when we don't recycle and just throw everything away, it creates a huge problem called pollution. All that trash has to go somewhere, so it often gets buried in big holes in the ground called landfills. But landfills are really yucky and cause lots of pollution that's bad for the Earth. The trash in landfills produces something called methane gas as it rots. Methane is very smelly and harmful to the environment. Landfills also leak nasty chemicals called leachate that can get into the soil and water supply. This pollutes the airwe breathe, the water we drink, and the ground that grows our food. No thanks!Landfills also take up a ton of space that could be used for nicer things like parks, forests, or homes for people and animals. Can you imagine if we just kept burying trash everywhere until there was no room left for anything else? What a mess!Another big problem is that when we throw away things made from natural resources like trees, oil, aluminum, and other minerals, we have to keep chopping down more forests and digging deeper to find new resources to make fresh products. This damages the environment and wastes limited natural resources that took millions of years to form. But by recycling, we can use those same materials over and over again instead of just throwing them out after one use. Things like plastic bottles, glass jars, aluminum cans, paper, and cardboard can be recycled into new products. We even recycle some types of electronics now! Recycling helps reduce pollution, conserves resources and energy, and protects nature. So how can we recycle properly? Well, first we need to separate our trash into different bins - one for plastics, one for paper and cardboard, one for glass and metals, etc. Then therecycling truck takes those bins to a facility where all the materials get sorted even further. The sorted items are then processed in different ways to remove any contaminants and get prepped for reuse. Finally, the processed materials go to manufacturing plants where they are turned into fresh new products! How cool is that? Some of the awesome things made from recycled materials include playground equipment, park benches, furniture, shoes, bags, bottles, cans, paper, and even roads! Just look around and you'll start noticing recycling symbols on tons of products. Those little symbols of three arrows going in a circle mean the item was made from recycled stuff. An easy way to recycle at home is to have separate bins for trash, recycling, and maybe even compost for food scraps that can be turned into healthy fertilizer for gardens. We can also save up gently used items in good shape to donate so someone else can reuse them instead of throwing them out.At school, we can make sure to recycle our snack wrappers, bottles, cans, and paper instead of just tossing them into the trash. We can also remind our parents, teachers, and friends to recycle as much as possible.Every time we recycle one little item, it adds up to make a huge positive impact on our planet. The more people recycle, the less trash ends up in landfills creating pollution. It's such an easy thing we can all do every single day to give back to the Earth.Let's all be Recycling Superheroes and use our awesome recycling powers to combat pollution and waste! We can save energy, protect natural resources, prevent littering in our communities, and preserve nature for all the cool plants and animals. An Earth with less pollution is a happier, healthier, and more beautiful place for everyone.Recycling is easy, it's fun, and it's the absolute best thing we can do to take care of our one and only Earth. Let's work together to reduce, reuse, recycle, and make our planet proud! Who's with me?篇5Let's Save Our Planet by Recycling!Hi friends! I'm going to tell you about something really important that we all need to do. It's called recycling and it's super good for the environment and the whole planet. Recycling means reusing things instead of just throwing them away astrash. When we recycle, it helps protect the Earth and all the plants, animals, and people living on it. How cool is that? You might be wondering why recycling is so great. Well, let me explain! When we just toss out things like plastic bottles, aluminum cans, paper, cardboard boxes and other stuff, it ends up in big smelly landfills or incinerators. Landfills are these huge holes in the ground where all our trash gets buried. But landfills are really bad because they pollute the soil and water around them with nasty chemicals called leachate. No one wants polluted water! Incinerators burn up the trash, but that releases pollution into the air which makes it harder for us to breathe clean air.But when we recycle, it's way better for the environment! The bottles, cans, paper and other materials get turned into brand new products instead of becoming waste. This saves natural resources like trees, oil, aluminum and other raw materials that would have been used to make new things. Using recycled materials also causes way less pollution and mess than making things from new raw materials. Recycling just one aluminum can save enough energy to run a TV for 3 hours! How awesome is that?Unfortunately, a lot of people still don't recycle. Way too much trash ends up in landfills and incinerators every single day. In the United States alone, over 250 million tons of trash gets tossed out each year instead of recycled. That's almost a ton of trash per person! Imagine how much better it would be if we all recycled as much as we could. We absolutely have to take care of the planet we live on. The Earth is our one and only home in the whole universe. If we ruin it by polluting and wasting resources, we'll be in huge trouble because we have no other planet to live on. Recycling is an easy way we can all pitch in to protect the environment. It's our responsibility! It's actually pretty simple to recycle. Most towns and cities have special recycling bins or recycling pick-up programs. My family and I recycle bottles, cans, paper, cardboard boxes, and a lot of other things. We just toss them into the recycling bin instead of the regular trash can. Some things we can't recycle in our town though, like plastic bags or Styrofoam containers. You just have to check what your area recycles. At school, we also have recycling bins for things like bottles, cans and paper. I always make sure to recycle my snack packaging, papers, and drink bottles. It's so easy to do! But I'venoticed that some kids carelessly toss recyclables into the regular trash cans instead of the recycling bins. I get so frustrated when I see that happening because it's just laziness. Don't be lazy - recycle! We really need to get better at recycling at my school and in my town. I'm going to start encouraging more people to recycle and talk about how important it is. I'm even going to ask my teacher if our class can have a recycling drive or campaign to make sure everyone knows what can be recycled and why we need to do it. The more people who recycle, the better for our planet!Recycling is something kids can definitely do to make a difference. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. Just get a recycling bin or bag for your home. When you go to toss something out, stop and think "Can I recycle this?" If it's a bottle, can, paper, or cardboard box, put it in the recycling instead of the trash. Make it a habit! If every single person made an effort to recycle everything they could, it would make a huge positive impact. We'd have a lot less trash filling up landfills and polluting the environment. Recycling protects forests, conserves natural resources, saves energy, cuts air and water pollution, and reduces greenhouse gasemissions that cause climate change. Why wouldn't we want to do something so beneficial for the planet?I really hope I've convinced you that recycling is super important. The Earth is our one and only home. We need to take good care of it so it remains a healthy and beautiful place for us to live, and for plants and animals too. It's not that hard to recycle - just put your recyclable items into the proper recycling containers instead of putting them in the trash. Every little bit really does help!We kids are the future of this planet. As we grow up, we'll be the grown-ups in charge of protecting the environment. But we can start being responsible right now while we're still kids. Recycling is something simple we can all do every single day to make a difference. Let's all work together to reduce waste and take care of our one and only Earth. Our amazing planet is totally worth saving through recycling!。

保护校园环境从我做起的英语作文倡议

保护校园环境从我做起的英语作文倡议全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Let's Protect Our School Environment Together!Hello everyone! My name is Lily, and I am a student at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I want to talk to you about something very important - protecting our school environment. It's our duty to take care of our school and make it a clean and beautiful place for everyone to study and play.First of all, we should always remember to throw our trash in the proper bins. When we have finished eating our snacks or lunch, we can look for the recycling bins and put our empty bottles and cans in them. By recycling, we can help reduce pollution and save our precious resources. Also, let's make sure we don't litter on the school grounds or in the hallways. We can carry a small bag with us to collect any trash we find and throw it away in the designated bins.Another way we can protect our school environment is by saving water and electricity. We should turn off the faucets tightly after using them and report any leaky taps to our teachersor the janitor. Remember, every drop counts! When we leave a room, we should switch off the lights and fans to save electricity. If we all do our part, we can make a big difference in conserving these valuable resources.Planting trees and flowers is another great way to beautify our school environment. We can organize tree-planting activities with the help of our teachers and parents. Trees not only provide shade but also help to clean the air we breathe. We can also create a school garden where we can grow vegetables and learn about nature. Let's take turns watering the plants and make sure they receive enough sunlight to grow strong and healthy.Reducing paper waste is also important for protecting our school environment. Instead of using new sheets of paper for every little thing, we can try using both sides of a page or use scrap paper for rough work. We can also use technology to share information and assignments, which will help save trees and reduce the amount of paper we use.Lastly, let's be mindful of our actions towards animals and insects on our school campus. We should treat them with kindness and respect. If we see any injured or sick animals, we should inform our teachers or the school staff so that they can get the help they need. Remember, we share our schoolenvironment with these creatures, and it's our responsibility to take care of them too.In conclusion, as students of Sunshine Elementary School, we have the power to make a positive impact on our school environment. By following these simple steps, such as throwing trash in the proper bins, saving water and electricity, planting trees, reducing paper waste, and being kind to animals, we can create a clean, green, and beautiful campus that we can be proud of. Let's work together and inspire others to join us in protecting our school environment. Remember, every small action counts, and together we can make a big difference!Thank you for listening, and let's start protecting our school environment today!篇2Let's Protect Our School Environment, Starting with Me!Hi everyone! I'm Lily, a 4th grade student here at Sunshine Elementary. Today, I want to talk to you all about something really important – taking care of our school environment.Have you noticed how much trash is lying around our campus sometimes? Empty juice boxes, candy wrappers, andplastic bags scattered on the grounds or flying in the breeze. It makes our beautiful school look so messy and ugly. And it's really bad for the environment too!Littering is just one of the ways we're hurting our school's environment though. I've also seen kids intentionally damaging trees by carving into the bark or breaking branches. Some even stomp on garden beds, crushing the plants. Why would anyone want to do that? Plants and trees are living things that make our world prettier and provide us with fresh air to breathe. We need to respect nature, not destroy it.I'm sure none of you would ever dream of trashing your own home. So why treat our school, which is like a second home to us, any differently? This campus belongs to all of us and we need to take good care of it.The poor environment around Sunshine Elementary isn't just an eyesore though. It's causing real harm to the plants, animals, and even people here. Litter can injure wildlife that may eat it by mistake or get tangled up in it. Sharp objects like broken glass could cut someone's hand or foot. The chemicals from some trash can also contaminate the soil that our gardens grow in, making the plants unsafe to eat.And let's not forget about that big issue affecting our whole planet – climate change. Throwing away too much trash that doesn't biodegrade means more garbage ending up in landfills and releasing greenhouse gases. We're contributing to global warming just by being inconsiderate litterbugs!I know what you're thinking - isn't this the school's janitorial staff's job to clean up after us? Well, yes, they do work really hard to keep our school nice and tidy. But they shouldn't have to! We students are responsible for the mess. It's only fair that we pitch in to solve the problem ourselves instead of leaving it all to the hardworking janitors. We can't expect adults and teachers to do everything for us. As Dr. Seuss said, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." Change starts with each one of us!So what exactly can we do? It's really quite simple:Use the many trashcans and recycling bins around campus to properly dispose of any waste. Let's make a habit of holding onto those drink cartons and snack wrappers until we can toss them where they belong.Appreciate nature and be gentle with trees, flowers, and plants. They make our school look vibrant and beautiful! Don't damage them in any way.Participate in the school's regular recycling drives, green community service events, and campus clean-up days. The more helping hands, the better!Speak up whenever you see someone littering or mistreating the environment. Remind them nicely how those bad habits hurt our school.Come up with your own creative ideas to reduce waste, conserve resources, and make our campus greener!I'll give you an example of something I've started doing. Instead of using a disposable lunch bag, I've switched to a reusable lunch box and set of containers. It's better for the environment and my mom doesn't have to keep buying new bags!Small, thoughtful actions from each of us can make a huge difference when we all work together. Our school will look so pretty without litter everywhere. The plants and trees can thrive. We'll even be doing a tiny part to fight climate change on a global level! Doesn't that make you feel proud?Just look at how much neater and fresher the areas of campus are where students, teachers, and staff have been putting in the effort. We can achieve that for our whole school if we all commit to taking care of our environment. Our future depends on it!Who's with me? Let's show that we take pride in our school by cleaning up our act. We'll set an example for other schools and communities to follow. A cleaner, greener, and more beautiful Sunshine Elementary is possible, but only if each of us makes taking care of the environment a priority. Change starts small, so let's get started today!I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes about environmental conservation from the wise Teddy Roosevelt: "The nation behaves well if it treats the natural resources as assets which it must turn over to the next generation increased, and not impaired in value." Pretty inspiring, right?Let's be the generation of Sunshine students who enhances and protects our school's environment. We've got this! Who's going to join me?篇3Protecting Our School Environment Starts with Me!Hello everyone! My name is Lily, and I am a student at Sunshine Elementary School. 世界环境日的倡议书英语作文李华全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Passionate Plea to Save Our Precious PlanetHi everyone! My name is Li Hua and I'm a student in primary school. Today I want to talk to you about something that is really, really important to me - protecting our beautiful planet Earth. Every year on June 5th, we celebrate World Environment Day to remind everyone how crucial it is that we take care of the environment. I may be just a kid, but I feel like I have to speak up and do my part because the environment is something that affects all of us, no matter how old we are.I love the world we live in with all my heart. I love watching the sun rise over the mountains in the morning and seeing the pretty colors in the sky. I love hiking in the forest and seeing all the different plants and animals. I love swimming in the ocean and lakes and feeling the cool, refreshing water. The Earth is just so vibrant, lush and full of life! It makes me sad to see humans篇2A Call to Action for World Environment DayHi friends! My name is Li Hua and I'm a 5th grader at Springdale Elementary School. Today I want to talk to you about something really important – taking care of our planet Earth for World Environment Day on June 5th.The environment means everything around us – the air we breathe, the water we drink, the soil that grows our food, and all the amazing animals and plants that live alongside us. The environment gives us everything we need to live, but it's in big trouble because of how poorly humans have treated it.Pollution is one of the biggest problems facing our world today. Do you know what pollution is? It's when yucky stuff like chemicals, garbage, and smoke gets into our air, water, and soil and makes it dirty and unsafe. Just think how bad you would feel if you had to breathe in smoke and chemicals all day instead of fresh air!Pollution happens in lots of different ways. Factories release tons of smoke and chemicals as they make products like cars, toys, and electronics. Cars and trucks spew out exhaust fumes as they drive around. Trash and plastic waste gets thrown into rivers, lakes and oceans instead of being recycled or put in the trashproperly. Even spraying chemicals from bug spray or weed killers can pollute the soil. All this pollution is really hurting plants, animals and people. Air pollution makes it hard to breathe and causes lung problems. Water pollution kills fish and other creatures that live in the water by choking them with garbage or poisoning them with chemicals. Soil pollution prevents plants from being able to grow big and strong, which is bad for the animals that eat them and the people that need them for food too.Global warming is another huge environmental problem caused by pollution. Has it felt hotter to you than it used to be in past summers? That's because Earth's temperature has been slowly rising, causing more extreme heat waves, droughts, storms and other crazy weather patterns. Most scientists think global warming is happening because humans keep releasing tons of gases called greenhouse gases into the air by burning fuels like coal, oil and gas. These greenhouse gases get trapped in our atmosphere and act like a big thick blanket, trapping in heat from the sun and warming up our planet over time.Besides harming people by causing heat waves, drought and stronger storms, global warming also melts glaciers and polar icecaps. This raises sea levels and floods coastal areas where many people live and animals make their homes. It also endangers animals like polar bears whose icy homes are disappearing. So what can we do to take better care of the environment and planet Earth that we all call home? The great news is that even kids like us can take action! Here are some simple things we can do:• Reduce, reuse and recycle! Cutting back on waste is one of the best things we can do. Use less plastic by carrying a reusable water bottle instead of buying bottled water. Reuse containers and bags instead of throwing them away. And make sure to put paper, cans, bottles and other materials in the recycling bin instead of the trash.• Save energy by turning off lights when leaving a room, taking shorter showers to conserve hot water, and unplugging electrical devices you aren't using. Energy takes lots ofnon-renewable natural resources like coal to produce, creating more pollution.• Walk, bike or take public transportation instead of driving when possible to cut back on exhaust pollution from cars.• Pick up litter whenever you see it on the ground, at parks or beaches. That prevents it from getting into waterways and nature.• Plant trees! Trees are amazing because they absorb carbon dioxide (a main greenhouse gas) from the air and give us fresh oxygen to breathe.• Learn about and support companies, organizations and laws that protect the environment. We can use our voices and consumer choices to push businesses to be more eco-friendly.• Educate others on why taking care of our planet is so crucial. Sprea篇3Certainly! Here's an essay advocating for World Environment Day, written in English from the perspective of a primary school student, approximately 2000 words long.A Call to Protect Our Planet: An Essay for World Environment DayHi there, friends! It's me, Li Hua, and today I want to talk to you about something really important – our beautiful planet Earth and why we need to take care of it.Have you ever stopped to think about how lucky we are to live on this amazing planet? It's the only home we have, and it provides us with everything we need to survive – fresh air to breathe, clean water to drink, and all sorts of plants and animals that we rely on for food and so much more. But here's the thing: our planet is in trouble, and it's up to us to help save it.You might have heard about things like climate change, pollution, and the loss of forests and wildlife. These are all big problems that are caused by human activities like burning too many fossil fuels, throwing away too much plastic and other waste, and cutting down too many trees.Climate change, for example, is making the Earth warmer than it should be, which is causing things like melting glaciers, rising sea levels, and more extreme weather events like hurricanes and droughts. That's not good for anyone or anything on our planet. And pollution is making our air and water dirty, which is harmful to both people and animals. Have you ever seen pictures of birds or fish tangled up in plastic waste? It's really sad and shows how much damage our trash can do to the environment. As for deforestation, which means cutting down too many trees, that's not only bad for the animals that live in the forests, but it also means there are fewer trees to help clean the air and provide us with fresh oxygen to breathe.I know it might sound scary, but don't worry – there's still time to turn things around and make our planet healthy again. All it takes is for each and every one of us to do our part, no matter how small. For example, we can reduce the amount of energy we use by turning off lights and electronics when we're not using them. We can also try to walk, bike, or take public transportation instead of getting rides in cars or buses that burn a lot of gasoline. And when it comes to waste, we can try to reduce the amount of plastic and other trash we produce by using reusable bags, water bottles, and food containers instead of disposable ones. We can also recycle as much as possible and compost our food scraps instead of throwing them away.Another big way we can help is by planting more trees and taking care of the ones we already have. Trees are like the lungs of the Earth, and they help clean the air and provide homes for all sorts of cool animals. And speaking of animals, we can also do our part to protect them by being kind to the creatures we share this planet with. That means never littering or damaging their habitats, and always treating them with respect.I know it might sound like a lot of work, but really, all it takes is for each of us to make small changes in our daily lives. If we all pitch in and do our part, we can make a huge difference for our planet. So what do you say, friends? Are you with me? Let's all work together to take care of our one and only home – planet Earth. It's the only one we've got, and it's up to us to protect it for generations to come.Remember, every little bit counts, whether it's turning off a light when you leave a room, picking up a piece of litter on the sidewalk, or planting a tree in your backyard. Together, we can make a big impact and ensure that our planet stays healthy and beautiful for all of us to enjoy. So let's get started today, on World Environment Day and every day after that. Our planet needs us, and it's up to us to be its heroes. Who's with me?篇4My Name is Li Hua and I'm Here to Save the Earth!Hi everyone! My name is Li Hua and I'm a student in primary school. Today I want to talk to you about something really important - taking care of our amazing planet Earth!Every year on June 5th, we celebrate World Environment Day. This is a special day when people all over the world come together to learn about the environment and how we can protect it. The first World Environment Day was way back in 1974 - can you believe it's been going for almost 50 years? That just shows how crucial it is that we keep working hard to make the Earth a better place. This year, the theme for World Environment Day is "Solution to Plastic Pollution". That means we need to focus on reducing the amount of plastic waste that gets thrown away and pollutes our land, oceans, rivers and air. Plastic is really bad for the environment because it takes hundreds of years to decompose and break down. During that time, it can harm plants, animals and people. The stats on plastic pollution are pretty scary. Did you know that every year, over 8 million tonnes of plastic waste ends up in the oceans? That's like dumping a whole garbage truck full of plastic into the sea every single minute! No wonder marineanimals like whales, dolphins, seals and turtles are getting sick from eating or getting tangled up in plastic. It's just awful. On land, plastic waste is causing huge problems too. It gets blown around by the wind, clogs up rivers and streams, and makes our parks, forests and cities look really messy and ugly. Some of that plastic even gets burned, which releases toxic gases that pollute the air we breathe. Yuck! But you know what? We can totally fix this plastic pollution crisis if we all work together and make some simple changes. Here are some of my best tips:Use re-usable bottles, cups, straws and food containers instead of single-use plastics. Carry a re-usable bottle with you everywhere you go to stay hydrated without creating plastic waste.Say NO to plastic bags when you go shopping. Bringre-usable cloth bags to put your groceries and other items in.Recycle as much plastic as you possibly can. Make sure you learn what types of plastic can be recycled where you live.Pick up plastic litter whenever you see it on the ground, even if you didn't put it there yourself. Litter can easily make its way into rivers and oceans if we don't clean it up.Spread the word! Talk to your family and friends about why plastic pollution is so bad and what they can do to reduce their plastic waste too.Support companies and brands that use environmentally-friendly packaging instead of plastic. We need to send a clear message with our shopping choices.See, taking action against plastic pollution is actually pretty easy when you put your mind to it! If all 7 billion people on Earth made these small changes, it would make a HUGE difference. But plastic isn't the only environmental issue we need to care about. Climate change caused by greenhouse gas emissions is an even bigger threat that impacts every living thing on the planet. The good news is that many of the same actions that reduce plastic pollution can also lower your personal carbon footprint.Walking, biking or taking public transport instead of driving a car cuts way down on emissions. Eating more vegetarian meals is better for the climate since farms that raise cattle create a lot of methane gas. Reducing food waste, re-using items instead of throwing them out, and conserving energy and water at home all contribute to protecting the environment too.At the end of the day, we simply have to make sustainability a priority in everything we do. The Earth is our one and only home, and it's the only planet in the whole universe that human beings can survive on. If we ruin it with pollution, deforestation and climate change, where else could we possible go?That's why World Environment Day is so important - it's a reminder for all of us to reconnect with nature and do our part to be good stewards and caretakers of the Earth. We borrow this beautiful planet from future generations, so we have to take care of it and hand it off in good condition when we're gone.In my opinion, every day should be treated like Environment Day! We can't just be environmentally conscious for one day a year. Protecting the planet has to be a constant lifestyle and mindset. So let's all work together to reduce plastic pollution, lower emissions, conserve resources, and show our love for the amazing planet we call home. We've only got one Earth, but if we're committed to taking care of it, that one Earth is all we need. The choice is ours - to save our world or destroy it. I don't know about you, but I'm choosing to be an Earth superhero! Who's with me?篇5My Call for World Environment DayHi everyone! My name is Lee Hua, and I'm a 10-year-old student from China. Today, I want to talk to you about something really important – World Environment Day. It's a special day celebrated every year on June 5th to raise awareness and remind everyone how crucial it is to protect our planet. You might be wondering, "Why should I care about the environment? I'm just a kid!" Well, let me tell you why it's so essential. The Earth is our home, and we need to take good care of it, just like how we take care of our own homes. Imagine if we never cleaned our rooms or threw away our trash – it would become a huge mess, right? The same thing happens to our planet if we don't take care of it.One of the biggest problems we're facing is pollution. Pollution comes in many forms, like air pollution from factories and cars, water pollution from dumping waste into rivers and oceans, and land pollution from littering and improper waste disposal. All of this pollution is really harmful to the environment and the animals that live in it.For example, air pollution can cause respiratory problems for humans and animals, and it also contributes to global warming, which is making the Earth's temperature rise and causing things like melting glaciers and rising sea levels. Water pollution can kill fish and other marine life, and it also makes the water unsafe for us to drink or swim in. Land pollution can harm animals that might accidentally eat or get caught in the litter, and it also makes our neighborhoods look really messy and unpleasant. But pollution isn't the only issue we need to worry about. Deforestation, which is the cutting down of large areas of forests, is also a big problem. Trees are really important because they provide oxygen for us to breathe, and they also help to absorb carbon dioxide, which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to global warming. When we cut down too many trees, it disrupts the balance of nature and can lead to things like soil erosion, loss of animal habitats, and even droughts or floods.Another issue is the overuse of natural resources, like water, fossil fuels (like coal and oil), and minerals. We need to be more mindful of how we use these resources because they are limited and won't last forever if we keep using them at the current rate. So, what can we do to help? Well, there are lots of small things we can do in our daily lives that can make a big difference. For example, we can reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible. This means cutting down on the amount of waste we produce, reusing things instead of throwing them away, and recycling things like paper, plastic, and glass. We can also save energy by turning off lights and appliances when we're not using them, and by using energy-efficient bulbs and appliances. We can save water by taking shorter showers, turning off the tap while brushing our teeth, and fixing any leaks in our homes.Another great way to help is by planting trees and gardens. Trees help to absorb carbon dioxide and provide oxygen, and gardens can attract bees and other pollinators, which are really important for the environment. We can also choose to walk, bike, or take public transportation instead of driving when possible, as this reduces the amount of air pollution from cars. Finally, we can spread awareness about these issues and encourage our friends and families to do their part too. We can organize clean-up events in our neighborhoods, start recycling programs at our schools, or even write letters to our local leaders to urge them to take action on environmental issues.By making these small changes in our daily lives, we can all contribute to a healthier and more sustainable planet. Remember, we only have one Earth, and it's up to all of us to take care of it.So, let's all work together and do our part to celebrate World Environment Day, not just on June 5th, but every single day. Let's make a promise to ourselves and to our planet to be moreeco-friendly and to take action to protect our environment. After all, this is our home, and we want to make sure it's a safe and healthy place for us, for our future generations, and for all the amazing plants and animals that call it home too.Thank you for listening, and let's all work together to make a difference!篇6My Call to Save Our Beautiful Planet for World Environment DayHi everyone! My name is Li Hua and I'm a 4th grader at Springtime Elementary School. Today is World Environment Day, a very important day when we celebrate our amazing planet Earth and think about how we can protect it.I love our planet so much. It's the only home we have, and it's just an awesome place! The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat - it all comes from the natural world around us. The Earth gives us everything we need to live. Isn't that incredible? Our planet is also overflowing with beauty and wonder. Have you ever gone hiking in the mountains and looked out over a vast valley with tall trees, gurgling streams, and animals scampering about? Or visited the beach and watched the sunset's brilliant colors dance across the ocean waves? Or gazed up at a star-filled night sky that seems to stretch on forever? Nature is truly a masterpiece. And can you imagine how many awesome plants and animals there are on Earth? From the tallest giraffe to the tiniest ant, from the prickliest cactus to the most colorful butterfly, life on this planet is wildly diverse and intriguing. I could spend hours watching all the critters out in my backyard. Just thinking about the incredible variety of life here makes my brain spin!Unfortunately, as much as I love our planet, many people are treating it pretty badly these days. Humans are doing lots of things that harm nature and the environment. We're polluting the air and water, chopping down too many forests, producingway too much trash, and using up natural resources faster than the Earth can replenish them. All this damage we're causing to the environment makes me really。

环保倡议书英语作文
范文一
dear friends,
i am writing this letter to call on everyone to pay attention to the present disasters caused by human activities. as some of you may know, over the past years, floods, droughts, landslides, and dust storms have frequented our planet. not long ago, tsunami swept the southeast asia, which caused enormous damage. all these have sounded an alarm to human beings. so it is high time that we join efforts to save our planet.
above all, a task of top priority for us is to plant trees as many as possible, especially in the arid areas. at the same time, we should stop deforesting in large amount. and we can save our planet through many other ways, such as saving water and using recycled paper.
so don’t hesitate to act out these measures. even a small action is meaningful to our planet. please join us in the action of protecting our planet. if you are willing to do something to save our planet, please start from the little thing right around you. thank you!
sincerely yours,
