Greet the class. Say: Good morning/afternoon, Class. How are you today? Ask some students to reply.

Step1: Present
1)Rub your hands over your arms (pretend to be cold) and say:
Burr, I’m cold. It’s cold today.
Then put on a jacket and say:
I want to put on my jacket. I like t wear my jacket on a cold day.
What do you wear on a cold day?
Then fan yourself (pretend to be hot), take off your jacket and say:
Oh! Now, I’m hot. I don’t want to wear my jacket. I want to take it off. What is the opposite of “put on”? can you guess?
What do you wear on a hot day?
Cold days: a jacket, a sweater, a scarf, a coat, gloves
Hot days: shorts, a skirt, a T-shirt, a dress, a blouse
2)Instruct the students to look at Lesson10: Part1.
Ask: What is this part of the lesson about? Can you guess?
Look at the picture at the top of the Page. Let’s learn some of the vocabulary that goes with the picture before we listen to the story. Repeat after me: T-shirt, shorts, raining, jacket, pants, forget, umbrella, schoolbag; catch a cold, go well with, put on; I like/ don’t like to wear…He/ She likes/ doesn’t like to wear… Don’t forget …

CLASS WORK: Let’s Do It! No.1.Play the audiotape for Lesson 10: Part1(you may catch a cold) and complete the activity. Check the
answers as a class.
Step3: Read and discuss
1)PAIR WORK: Ask the students to read Lesson10 Part 1and answer the
questions in Let’s Do It! No.2 with a partner.
2)Ask the students to share their answers with the class. Then discuss: What does “ catch a cold” mean?
What does “put on” mean? What can you put on? Can you show me? What is an umbrella? Can you put on an umbrella?
What does “don’t forget”mean? Can you forget your name? Can you forget your book?
What does “go well with” mean？
Step4: Practice
Discuss the picture in Let’s Do It! No.4. and ask the students to complete the activity independently. Ask some students to share their answers with the class.
Part2: Colourful clothes
Listen and chant
1)Play the audiotape for Lesson 10: Part 2(Colourful clothes). Ask the
students to listen and repeat.
2)Split the class into three groups. The students will need their
vocabulary cards for colours and clothes. Assign each group two lines from the chant. Each group chants its lines and holds up the
vocabulary cards for each colour or clothes word, as they say it. CLASS CLOSSING

相连的两个句子具有转折关系。
例如：I like apples, but I don’t like bananas. 我喜欢吃苹果，但不喜欢香蕉。
2）句中“that it wasn’t funny”是said 的一个宾语从句。
例如：He said that he would come. 他说他要来。
for supper! 到吃晚饭的时候了！本句是省略句，完整形式应是：It’s time for supper.It’s time for sth. 表示是做某事的时间了。
例如：It’s time for sleep. 到睡觉的时间了。
