Metaphors（比喻）和analogies（类比）有助于学习新事物）：我觉得不是很形象，换个例子，比方说要去某个地方：∙如果是在所在的城市，你对附近道路什么的都已经很熟悉了（有过往经验），那么你就可以直接从最方便的道路过去，这就相当于Focused Mode。
优点是快捷高效，但同时也会看不到其他道路的风景（思维定势）∙如果是在陌生的城市，你手头既没地图也没人可问（无任何相关经验），那就只能到处去找，这就相当于Diffuse Mode。
和Focused Mode刚好相反，缺点就是不够集中高效，但却能浏览到不同区域的情况Focused Mode与Diffuse Mode就像硬币的两面，不可能同时存在，但可以做到从一种模式切换到另一种模式。
Learning something difficult takes time. 你需要不断地在两种模式中切换。
以爱迪生为例，当Focused Mode解决问题遇到困难时，就切换到Diffuse Mode（但还记挂着问题），Diffuse Mode可能会带来不一样的思路等。
再切换回Focused Mode对新思路进行分析整理，如此循环往复，直至问题解决。
Procrastination（拖延）每个人或多或少都会拖延。
当面对一些不喜欢的事情时，会触发大脑与痛苦相关的部分，大脑自然会寻求方式以应对此负面刺激，这个方式经常是转移注意到其他事情上但研究人员发现，当坚持不喜欢的事一小段时间后，精神上的不适就会消失。
番茄工作法（番茄钟）能够有效缓解拖延1.持续工作一段时间（如25分钟）2.期间不可中断3.集中于此一件事// Focused Mode4.完成一个阶段后给自己少许奖励（如休息5分钟）// Diffuse Mode熟能生巧数学等抽象概念，不像一些具体词汇（如cow），可以直接和现实事物相对应。
（PS. love 等虽也是抽象概念，但直接反映人的情绪，也就有所对应）像数学这类抽象概念怎么办呢？通过练习来强化这一对应联系。
起初可能只是通过Diffuse Mode偶然找到了这一新知识/概念，每次练习/学习都会对其进行强化，进而加深记忆与理解。

通过阅读一段科学材料之后，然后对这段材料进行回忆，之后再阅读一遍，再回忆一遍的方法，同其他方法对照组相比（如：简单重复读材料、画概念图的对照组），使用回忆记忆法的同学，记下了更多内容，理解得更好。
在实验前，参加实验的对象普遍认为，画概念图的对照组结果应该最好，但是如果在基本组块还没有被完全掌握的情况下，进行组块间的连接，通常不会有好的效果。
就像你还没掌握国际象棋的基本走法，却在学习象棋的高阶策略（未学走，先学跑）而使用回忆与识记过程相交替的过程，能更好得帮助你获取主要信息。
回忆过程不仅有助于深度学习，更有助于我们形成新的组块。
这过程就好像在你的神经上挂上钩子，并检查还有哪些地方没有“挂”上信息。
再次学习的时候，会重点关注。
能力错觉(illusion of competence)是否有这样的情况，当你做不出一个题目，然后翻看了答案，你大呼一声，原来如此，这么简单，我会了。
但其实这个过程几乎没有任何帮助。
仅仅瞄了一眼答案，然后认为自己掌握了就是学习上最普遍的能力错觉。
同样，在做笔记的时候，使用高亮（highlight）和下划线（underline）等注释的时候，必须非常小心谨慎。
否则这又是一件非常低效的做法。
如果你做了很多注释，就像欺骗了自己，以为已经掌握了这些标注的内容。
如果要对一篇文章进行标注，在标注前，先试着找寻文章的主旨，并尽可能地少用注释。
（一词，一句，不要一段）同样，在页面空白处做笔记，总结主要信息，主要概念会是一个好办法。
同样，在使用百度谷歌之类搜索引擎的时候，同样会产生能力错觉，认为谷歌打开的页面的内容，都是自己大脑中的知识。
另：如在MOOC学习时，将视频下到电脑，不代表你已经看过和理解这个课程。
测试战胜能力错觉的好办法就是测试，测试你自己是否真的将该知识掌握。
但在某种程度上，那就是我们使用回忆的时候做的事情。
在测试中发现和改正错误也是重要的学习过程。
（所以平常没事给自己一些小测试，可以帮助你在大考中取得好成绩）其他建议在你学习区以外的地方，试着再次回忆学习的内容。
（记忆的提取-编码特异性原则）一般很难注意到，在记忆内容的时候，我们在记忆的时候将许多线索（例如当时的场景、问题的背景，甚至所处的语言环境、空间位置）一并编码进了记忆，事后能否提取出这段记忆严重取决于提取线索是否丰富、以及在回忆的时候是否重现了记忆时的线索。
因此在不同的环境下进行回忆，可以将所学内容与环境独立开来，这样在考试的时候就不会咬着笔头想不起一个很简单的知识点了。
古希腊（或者古罗马）有一种著名的记忆法就是利用空间位置线索来辅助记忆，我曾经用过类似的手法，在小规模临时记忆任务中似乎相当好用，具体是这样的：我有一个习惯，经常跑到实体书店看看有没有新书，浏览之后觉得不错的再考虑从网店购买。
有时候我会一下看到好几本书，手头又没有带纸笔，怎么有效地记住几本书的书名呢？我发现要记4本书以上就比较困难了（具体数目可能因人而异），至少回头要想好久才可能想全。
但我发现通过回忆当时手拿这本书翻看时所站的位置、面朝的方向等信息能够有效地帮助将记忆“拉出来”。

习惯及习惯回路习惯形成原理就是习惯回路（habit loop）。
习惯回路有四个组成部分：触机（cue）：可以是地点、时间、感觉等惯性行为（routine）：计划或僵尸模式奖励、回报（reward）信念（belief）（典型不学习习惯回路）ps：参考书里只有前三个。
以下内容来自参考书习惯形成原理就是习惯回路（habit loop）：Cue（触机）——→Routine（惯性行为）——→Reward（回报）具体就是如果需要建立一个习惯，就需要这三者，即触机，惯性行为和回报，三者缺一不可。
在了解习惯形成的模型之后，可以得到建立习惯的基本思路：提供明显的触机（cue），加强回报（reward），就能建立惯性行为（routine）。
怎样培养一个我们想要的好习惯？1. 第一步，确定自己想培养的习惯后，为完成这个行为找到自己的“奖励”。
这个奖励要大到使自己产生某种“渴望”（craving），否则没效。
2. 第二步，给自己设立一个触机，要简单易行。
触机产生，就要开始行动。
3. 第三步，坚持在触机和奖励之间，建立某种行为习惯。
重复、重复、重复。
不仅仅要重复行为本身，还要一次一次强化自己的“渴望”感，最终让触机不仅触发行动，更触发对奖励的渴望感。
4. 第四步，获取坚持的力量。
这种力量的获取有很多办法。
一是形成某个小团体，互相加油打气，知道在这条路上自己不是一个人。
当看到别人能坚持时，也能增强自己做到的信心；二是从信仰获取力量。
如果能将自己的信仰和行为结合起来，那力量是非常大怎样改变一个坏习惯？1. 第一条规则，推倒旧习惯再建立新习惯的难度，大于在原有习惯上进行调整。
2. 第二条规则，保留原来的“触机”和“奖励”，但调整你的“惯性行为”。
3. 第三条规则：真正的习惯改变，不能缺少信念。
在遇到比一般情况更大的困难和挑战时，坏习惯可能一夜之间卷土重来。
但别认为自己已经输掉这场仗而自怨自艾。
我们还是有办法的，那就是获取信念。
可能需要一个团体的支持、可能需要宗教的帮助、可能自己闭门沉思也足够。
总之，我们可以预见这种考验的产生，并提前为此做准备，让信念注入你的习惯建立中。
过程和结果造成拖延症的另一个原因是我们太注重结果，注重于将问题解决这一结果（参考文章知乎日报：你不是拖延症，你只是想要更爽）因此解决拖延症的另外一个思路是将你的思路逆转，把原来注重的完成这项任务，改成在接下来25分钟里，我将专注地去解决这个问题。
重点在于集中精力的25分钟，而不是问题的解决同样，这个结论也指向同一个拖延症解决方案—番茄钟其他建议1.周计划（只记录关键任务）2.日计划（每晚写下第二天的）3.把最难最重要的任务放到早上（eat your frogs first in the morning）4.好运定理：幸运女神常眷顾敢于尝试的人。
