正好我的哥哥要去上山，于是我也跟着去了，原以为山不高，但到了那之后，却发现，它是如此高大，单凭它的气势，也快把我压得喘不过气来了。
我在心中打起了退堂鼓，正要溜走，却被哥哥逮住了。
我摇摇头说道：“我不行的，我成功不了，快放我回去！”哥哥轻蔑地说道：“你是胆小鬼吗？不管你的成绩多好，一碰到困难就后退，这样你能成功吗？成功是需要克服困难的，你难道从不渴望成功吗？”听了这一番话，我的内心有所动摇。
内心仿佛有个信念和力量支撑着我，我渴望成功，渴望让别人肯定自己。
我要咬了牙，便和哥哥一起向山顶爬去。
我一路历经了许多困难，要么是羊肠小道，要么就是陡坡，但是这一切都被我心中的这一股力量推动着向前，一路上我从没叫过一声苦，一声累，坚持地向上爬着。
慢慢的，我离山头越来越近，最终我登上了山顶，向下望去感觉是如此畅快，我由衷地发出了感叹：我成功了！从那以后，我就一直渴望着成功，也是渴望成功的这一信念，这股力量帮我跨过重重困难获得成功。

我有时不禁在想，什么是自信，它又能给我们带来什么呢？自信，就是定定地看着陌生人的眼睛，语句流利畅通；自信，就是乐观看待每一天，对自己说，我能行；自信，就是响亮地说出自己想要表达的观点……树立自信心可以帮助人们充分认识自己的长处和潜能。
