一、教材分析：
本课是义务教育教科书冀教版小学英语三年级下册第13课。本单元主要是围绕着food和meals展开的。本课主要学习一些谈论食物和就餐的词汇，鼓励学生用学到的语言进行表达，能够在真实的环境中表达自己的需求。对于此内容学生会非常感兴趣的。教师可多设计一些活动来完成此课的教学。
二、教学目标：
1.知识与能力目标
学生能听懂、会说、认读下列词汇：table、food、eat、drink、juice；
学生能理解和口头使用下列用语：
I’m hungry. I want to eat. Let’s eat!
I’m thirsty. I want to drink. Let’s drink!
2.过程与方法目标
通过向学生展示一些关于食物和就餐知识，引导学生学习本课新单词和句型，通过本课的学习，初步形成能够在真实的环境中表达自己的需求的能力。
3. 情感态度价值观目标
培养学习英语的兴趣，能积极的学习英语，养成爱听、爱说英语的习惯。

出示tea、meat等已学单词的图片，覆盖一部分，让学生猜一猜“What’s
this？”并通过此游戏引出本课的新词汇“juice、rice、food、table”。
(注：因为此课的歌词里有rice一词，所以把此单词放在新授里了。)
（设计意图：猜谜游戏符合三年级学生的认知水平，学生积极性可高了；且通过此游戏还能引出本课的新授单词juice、rice【ice—rice】、food、table，也不显得突兀，可谓一举两得。）
