关于希望之星英语演讲稿(通用5篇)关于希望之星英语篇1Good afternoon, dear judges. T oday my speech is “I love black-faced spoonbill. On a beautiful winter day, I happened to meet the lovely spirit------Black Faced Spoonbill, a type of migratory bird, which spends winter at Hong-Shu-Lin in my city every year. Covered with snow-white feathers, it has black legs and a black beak. Besides the blacks and whites, an amazing splash of yellow is under its neck. So ele gant that I couldn’t help loving it at first sight. With a big and spoon-shaped beak, it can clasp fishes easily, which makes it a powerful hunter in birds. However, with human expansion and pollution, only around 20xx ones are living all over the world.L ike the eleven swan princes in Andersen’s Fairy Tale, the Black Faced Spoonbills have always been struggling to find a tiny rock which can offer them a momentary tranquility. Fortunately, they have found one in my beloved home. I would always hold them dearly to my heart and wish they would return with flocks of chicks in the following years, and singing……Oh, I have a home, such a beautiful home, where I play and rest happily.Oh, give them a home, such a wonderful home, where the spoonbills play all day.Thank you very much.关于希望之星英语演讲稿篇2Ladies and Gentlemen:“If I could reach higher, just for one moment to touch thesky…”---this is from my favorite song Reach. When we are appreciating the passionate melody of Gloria Estefan, we could hardly imagine that she could return to the stage after her paralysis. In the year 1990, this Cuban singer was knocked down in a traffic accident, and the doctor declared that she might never walk again. But Gloria did not give up and kept up constant exercising. Just one year after the disaster, she stood up again and presented this encouraging song at the Atlanta Olympics.Whenever I think of Gloria, I can’t help recalling my memory seven years ago, when I first entered university. Naturally shy, ordinary looking, average scores in study, just like an ugly duckling, I seemed to be the least outstanding one in my class. And the successive failures in the beginning led me into despair. “Am I destined to take the back seat to others?” Unwilling to submit to the fate, I paid more efforts on my study as well as many other activities, film dubbing, recital, drama… cause I just want to catch every little opportunity to prove myself. Constant effort yields sure success. Thanks to the competition, I received some awards and most of all, I gained the courage and confidence to face any difficulties in my life journey.Life is just like farming, and what you can reap depends a lot on your sowing and dedication. Once you have a dream, don’t be hesitant. Your next difficult step may be the one to the top. Keep going forward, even in the toughest time, and never give up.Thank you very much.关于希望之星英语演讲稿篇3Good morning, my name is jack, it is really a great honor to have this opportunity for a interview, i would like to answerwhatever you may raise, and i hope i can make a good performance today, eventually enroll in this prestigious university in september. now i will introduce myself briefly,i am 21 years old, born in heilongjiang province ,northeast of china, and i am curruently a senior student at beijing uni.my major is packaging engineering.and i will receive my bachelor degree after my graduation in june.in the past 4 years,i spend most of my time on study,i have passed CET4/6 with a ease. and i have acquired basic knowledge of packaging and publishing both in theory and in practice. besides, i have attendseveral packaging exhibition hold in Beijing, this is our advantage study here, i have taken a tour to some big factory and company. through these i have a deeply understanding of domestic packaging industry. compared to developed countries such as us, unfortunately, although we have made extraordinary progress since 1978,our packaging industry are still underdeveloped, mess, unstable, the situation of employees in this field are awkard. but i have full confidence in a bright future if only our economy can keep the growth pace still. i guess you maybe interested in the reason itch to law, and what is my plan during graduate study life, i would like to tell you that pursue law is one of my lifelong goal,i like my major packaging and i wont give up,if i can pursue my master degree here i will combine law with my former education. i will work hard inthesefields ,patent ,trademark, copyright, on the base of my years study in department of p&p, my character? i cannot describe it well, but i know i am optimistic and confident. sometimes i prefer to stay alone, reading, listening to music, but i am not lonely, i like to chat with my classmates, almost talk everything ,my favorite pastime is valleyball, playing cards or surfonline. through college life,i learn how to balance between study and entertainment. by the way, i was a actor of our amazing drama club. i had a few glorious memory on stage. that is my pride.Thank you very much.关于希望之星英语演讲稿篇4Ladies and Gentlemen:My name is Tiffany, a Year 2 student from the University of Macau. I am currently an active member of the university Public Speaking Team, president of the Honours College Student Association, and also the vice president of the event department in Marketing Society. I am very active and outgoing. I enjoy being with people, engaged in conversations with them so that I can understand them more. I like public speaking as it can help increase my self-esteem and self-confidence. Aside from public speaking, I am also good at English recitation. I have joined the Macao-wide English Individual Recitation for a number of times when I was studying in the secondary school.Imagine a car without a steering wheel. Tough to imagine, right? Well, act ually that’s the image you see if a person has no faith. Faith helps to guide us in our lives, encourage us to persist, and give directions when we are lost.In this peaceful era, our life paths seem to be already well-planned and determined. What we have to do is to follow. Yes, we may face different sorts of challenges, but at least they are less harsh when compared to those in the past. We do not need to worry about starving to death, or how to earn enough money to buy food for our siblings and sustain our lives. It is like driving from a muddy road into a highway. In the muddy road, path, you would say, as it is formed only by crossingon it many times, flattening the ground to form a smoother area so we can pass. The road is so bumpy and rough, with holes here and there and rocks lying all over. When we drive along this road, we have to be very careful, having a firm grip on the steering wheel, ready for a sudden turn or a large boulder that may appear any second. However, when we drive on a highway, everything becomes different. The road is smooth, straight, and visible. Since there is no unseen obstacle, we may lower our guard, relax a bit, and loosen our grip on the steering wheel. One may even think, if we only have to drive on a smooth straight road like this highway, why would we need a steering wheel?Nevertheless, one cannot foresee the future. Accidents do happen. For example, a car may suddenly appear in front of you. At such times, if you did not have the steering wheel, how could you make a sudden turn? Just as no one could foresee the Sichuan Earthquake nor the Japan Tsunami. If the one being trapped under the debris did not have faith, he/she would not have survived until being rescued. If we did not have faith, we could not recover from our sadness and rebuild our home.Faith is unique, just as happiness is. We feel happy for different reasons, we believe for different things. How can we know what we believe in? Recall the last time you are discouraged, and you felt you had lost all hopes in your life. What pulled you back into the world? What pushed you to stand up and continue to strive again? That is your faith, your belief. Faith is what makes you feel you can when others say you can’t.Faith is important…, faith is vital…, faith is necessa ry for us to live our lives. If we do not have faith, we are like a car without a steeling wheel. We can only afford to move along a straight and smooth path, and cannot meet any challenge in our lives. Onemust understand that no matter how smooth the road is, it is impossible for a car to go without a steering wheel. Or, put it in another way, have you ever seen a car without a steering wheel on the road? So, act now, my friends, find out what you believe in, find out your anchor in your life, hold on to your steeling wheel of your car, drive on, and reach your destination.Thank you very much.关于希望之星英语演讲稿篇5Ladies and Gentlemen:“If I could reach higher, just for one moment to touch the sky…”---this is from my favorite song Reach. When we are appreciating the passionate melody of Gloria Estefan, we could hardly imagine that she could return to the stage after her paralysis. Above all the subjects, I love English best.I haven?t taken part in an Oral English Competition . So, I hesitated. I thought that maybe is a hard thing to do and I didn?t have enough confidence. But in fact, I really want to have a try. Mother noticed all of these. She can read me like an open book. She said to me, ?dear, there is nothing to be afraid of. Everybody should have their first time. If you don?t want to have a try, how can you touch success? Take a step forward, and then you can succeed. Remember, compared with process, result is not so important. You need more andmore opportunities to practice, from them you can improve not only your English level, but also your experience and courage. The enemy you?re facing are not others, but yourself. So, please believe yourself and have a try!? Mother?s words really encouraged me. I made up my mind. At last, I won the third price. 希望之星英语演讲比赛第一轮自我介绍

希望之星英语演讲比赛第一轮自我介绍全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Good morning everyone! My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. I'm so excited to be here today for the first round of the Hope Star English Speaking Contest.First, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm 10 years old and I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Tommy who is 7. We also have a dog named Buddy who is a golden retriever. He's a lot of fun to play with in our backyard. Some of my favorite things are reading, art, and playing soccer. At school, my favorite subjects are language arts and art class. I love getting lost in a good book and using my imagination to create stories or poems. In art, I really enjoy painting with watercolors and making colorful drawings. My least favorite subject is probably math because I find some of the concepts a bit tricky, but I'm working hard to get better at it.One of my biggest hobbies is soccer. I started playing when I was 6 years old and I've been obsessed ever since! I playmidfielder on my club team, the Thunderbolts. We practice twice a week and have games on the weekends. My idol is the US women's national soccer player Alex Morgan. I admire her skills, determination, and positive attitude both on and off the field. Maybe someday I can play at that level too!Another passion of mine is taking care of the environment. At home, we always recycle paper, plastics, and glass. We also have a compost bin in our garden for fruit and veggie scraps. At school, I'm part of an environmental club where we do things like pick up litter, plant trees, and learn about climate change. It's so important that we all do our part to reduce waste and protect nature. My dream is to become a marine biologist when I grow up. I'm fascinated by all the mysterious creatures that live in the ocean. Can you imagine getting to study and swim with whales, sharks, and dolphins every day? How cool would that be?! On summer vacations, my family and I love going to the beach. I'll spend hours in the shallow water, observing the little fish, crabs, and shells. The ocean feels like a magical other-world to me.In my free time, I also enjoy arts and crafts. Making friendship bracelets, painting rocks, and doing origami are some of my favorite creative outlets. I find these kinds of hands-onactivities to be very calming and satisfying. Using my hands and my mind together brings me a sense of peace and accomplishment. Whenever I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed, doing an art project always helps me feel better. My role model is my aunt Jackie who is a children's book author. She works from home and gets to make up imaginative stories and illustrations for a living. How fun is that?! I really admire her creativity and courage to pursue her artistic dreams as a career. She's taught me that with hard work and perseverance, you can make a living doing something you feel passionately about. I hope to be as brave and dedicated as her someday. One major goal I have for myself is to keep improving my English skills through practice and determination. Although I feel quite comfortable speaking and writing English now, there's always room for growth. I know continued reading, studying, and conversing in English will help expand my vocabulary and sharpen my communication abilities. My English teachers have been so supportive and encouraging on this journey.Well, those are some of the key things that define who I am right now. Of course, I'm still a kid with so much more exploring and discovering ahead of me. My interests, dreams, andperspectives will likely keep evolving over the years. But I'm proud of the person I'm becoming - someone who is curious, compassionate, hard-working, and not afraid to dream big. This English speaking contest is an amazing opportunity to express myself and challenge my abilities.Thank you all for listening. I'll do my best to make you proud in this competition. But win or lose, I already feel like a winner because I'm doing something I love - using my voice to connect with others and share my thoughts and experiences. Here's to following our hopes and dreams, step-by-step! Let the contest begin!篇2Hello everyone! My name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. I'm a 5th grade student at Lakeview Elementary School. I'm really excited to be here today for the first round of the "Star of Hope" English speech contest!I love learning and speaking English. English opens up a whole new world of books, movies, songs, and possibilities to communicate with people from all over the globe. My dream is to become an ambassador one day and help bring different cultures together through language.I was born right here in this city, but my parents are immigrants from China. They moved here before I was born to create a better life for our family. Even though I'm fully fluent in English, we still speak a mix of English and Chinese at home to stay connected to our heritage. My parents have always encouraged me to keep an open mind, work hard, and never stop learning. They've really inspired my passion for languages and exploring new cultures. I'm currently studying Spanish at school too because I think it's such a beautiful language and I want to be able to communicate with more people. In my free time, I love reading fantasy novels, listening to music from around the world, and learning about different holiday traditions and foods from various cultures. I'm fascinated by how diverse our world is! I also really enjoy arts and crafts - making friendship bracelets is one of my favorite hobbies.Last summer, my parents took me on a trip to China to visit our extended family. It was my first time there and such an incredible experience! The sights, the sounds, the delicious foods - everything was so vibrant and eye-opening. We visited the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and so many other iconic landmarks. I tried my best to practice my Mandarin the wholetime. My cousins thought it was really cool that I was learning multiple languages at such a young age.My biggest role model is Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani activist for female education. Her bravery and passion for making the world a better place is so inspiring to me. I read her autobiography last year and it moved me to tears. No child should ever have to miss out on an education just because of their gender. My dream school is Harvard University because of their incredible language and international studies programs. But more than that, Harvard seems to cultivate curious,open-minded leaders who want to solve global challenges. I hope to attend there one day so I can gain the knowledge and skills to really make a positive impact. When I'm not studying or reading, I volunteer at a local community center that provides free English classes for immigrant families. Seeing the students' determination to learn and create better lives for themselves reminds me of my own parents' journey. It's extremely fulfilling to play a small role in their language learning process.I may only be 10 years old, but I have huge dreams for the future. I want to shatter stereotypes, bring different culturestogether through openness and understanding, and be a voice for the voiceless. Winning this speech contest would give me an amazing platform to start making a difference and inspiring others.Thank you all for listening! I appreciate you giving me this opportunity to share my story. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Malala: "One child, one teacher, one book, and one pen can change the world." With perseverance and hope, anything is possible.篇3Good morning everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm a 5th grader at Sunny Hills Elementary School. Thank you all for being here today for the first round of the Hope Star English Speech Contest.I'm really excited to introduce myself and share a little bit about who I am and what's important to me. I hope we can get to know each other through this speech.Let me start by telling you about my family. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother Sam who is 7 years old. We also have a dog named Buddy - he's a golden retriever and the mostenergetic and cuddly pup you'll ever meet! My dad works as an engineer and my mom is a teacher at the middle school.Family is everything to me. We try to do as many things篇4Good morning everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm a 5th grade student at Sunshine Elementary School. Thank you all for being here today for the first round of the "Rising Star" English speech contest.I'm really excited to participate in this competition! Public speaking has always been something I've enjoyed. I love being able to express my thoughts and ideas out loud. Even from a very young age, I was always the talkative one - just ask my parents! Sometimes they joke that I must have been a radio host in a past life because I never seem to run out of things to say.My parents have definitely been my biggest supporters when it comes to public speaking and pursuing my interests in general. They've encouraged me to try all sorts of different activities over the years - everything from dance and art classes to soccer and coding camp. I'm grateful they've allowed me to explore so many possibilities to find my true passions.Speaking of passions, one of my biggest is reading. I'm what you might call a book worm! I especially love fiction novels, fantasy and adventure stories that can transport me to magical worlds. My favorite book series is Harry Potter - I've read those books over and over again. Whenever I'm really engrossed in a good book, I almost feel like I'm living inside its pages as one of the characters. Reading sparks my imagination and creativity like nothing else.In addition to reading, I also really enjoy writing my own stories and poetry. Sometimes I'll be inspired by a book I've read or a vivid dream I had. Other times, story ideas will just randomly pop into my head when I'm doing something totally unrelated, like brushing my teeth or riding in the car. Whenever that happens, I have to quickly jot the idea down in my notebook before I forget it! I love being able to express myself through the written word.I also have fun practicing my English skills outside of school through activities like reading jokes and riddles out loud to my younger siblings. They always get such a kick out of the silly puns and wordplay! My dream is to one day become an author and write Children's books filled with imaginative stories and vibrantillustrations. I want to create the kinds of tales that ignite creativity and spark excitement for reading in kids.Another subject I really enjoy at school is science. I find the natural world utterly fascinating! From learning about plant and animal life cycles to exploring basic chemistry through hands-on experiments, science always keeps me feeling curious and engaged. My absolute favorite units so far have been the ones on outer space and the solar system. I'm just amazed by how vast the universe is and all the mysteries that are still out there, waiting to be uncovered and understood. If I don't become an author when I grow up, I may want to be an astronaut or astrophysicist instead! In my free time outside of school, I love staying active through sports like swimming, gymnastics, and running around at the park or playground with my friends. Anything that allows me to use my energy in a fun way is right up my alley! I'm definitely what you'd call a high-energy kid.I'm also really into arts and crafts. My bedroom is practically overflowing with all my creative projects at this point - everything from friendship bracelets and rainbow looms to homemade greeting cards and papier-mâché sculptures. I even taught myself some basic sewing and jewelry making skills bywatching YouTube tutorials. Just give me some craft supplies and I'm a happy camper!Family is extremely important to me as well. I'm very close with my parents, and my little brother and sister. We love having game nights where we play classic board games likeCandy Land, Chutes and Ladders, or Guess Who. Or sometimes we'll have living room camping adventures where we pitch a tent, roast marshmallows, and tell spooky stories with a flashlight. Those are some of my most cherished memories from childhood so far.I'm also blessed with amazing grandparents who live nearby. My grandma is hilarious - she's got the greatest sense of humor and is always cracking jokes to make us laugh. My grandpa is a total teddy bear and made sure to attend every single one of my soccer games and dance recitals while I was growing up. Now that I'm a little older, I love spending time with them both listening to their fascinating stories and wisdom from throughout their lives. My family has definitely played a huge role in shaping who I am today - a quirky, curious, and creative young girl who isn't afraid to be herself. They've taught me important values like honesty, kindness, working hard, and daring to dream big. Those are lessons I'll carry with me forever.Well, I could probably go on talking for hours and hours - I warned you I was a talkative one! But I'll go ahead and wrap up my introduction here. Thank you again for lending me your ears today. I look forward to sharing more stories and thoughts with you all as this speech contest progresses. Public speaking allows me to express my voice and perspectives on life as a 5th grader in a way that I absolutely love. Here's to chasing our "Rising Star" dreams together!篇5Good morning everyone, respected judges, teachers and my dear friends. My name is Emma and I'm a 5th grade student at Sunny Hills Elementary School. I'm so excited to be here today for the first round of the "Hope Star" English Speech Contest!I want to start by telling you a little bit about myself and my family. I live with my mom, dad, and younger brother Alex who is in 2nd grade. We also have a cute golden retriever named Buddy who loves to play fetch and go for walks in the park. My mom is a nurse at the city hospital, and my dad works as an engineer for a big technology company. At home, we speak both English and Chinese. My parents immigrated to this country from China before I was born, so theyhave taught me and my brother to speak Chinese from a young age. Being bilingual is such a wonderful gift that allows me to connect with my cultural roots while also fully participating in the English-speaking community here. One of my favorite things about our family is that we love spending quality time together. On weekends, we often go on little adventures like hiking in the mountains, visiting museums, or checking out the latest exhibits at the science center downtown. My dad really encouraged my curiosity about the world from a very young age. I remember he would always have the science or history channels playing on TV, and he would patiently explain any questions I had.In my free time, I'm really into arts and crafts. I love drawing, painting, making friendship bracelets...you name it! Getting creative with my hands is so relaxing and satisfying. I'm a member of the art club at school, and we have worked on some really cool projects this year like designing murals for the cafeteria walls. Looking at a blank canvas is so exciting to me because of all the possibilities it holds.Reading is another one of my biggest passions. I just love getting lost in the imaginary worlds that books create. My favorite genres are fantasy and historical fiction - books that cantransport me to magical realms or whisk me back in time. I checked out so many books from our school library this year that I'm pretty sure I set a new record! At home, we have a big cozy armchair that is my favorite spot to curl up and read for hours on end.In school, I really enjoy subjects like English, art, and history where I get to exercise my creative muscles. Math and science are also a lot of fun because I'm a curious person who loves learning about how things work. One of the highlights of 5th grade so far was our science fair project where my friend Jessica and I designed and built our own working volcano model. It was such an amazing feeling of accomplishment when the simulated lava eruption went perfectly as planned!Looking ahead, I'm really excited about the prospect of attending middle school next year. While I'll certainly miss my wonderful elementary school, I'm eager for the opportunity to take more challenging courses, join new clubs and activities, and continue exploring my diverse interests. In particular, I'm looking forward to taking a foreign language class. I've always dreamed of being a polyglot who can speak multiple languages fluently. My biggest role models in life are my parents. They left everything behind in China to start over in a brand new country, working extremely hard to build a good life for our family here. They have instilled such strong values of kindness, resilience, and determination in me. From them, I have learned that no worthwhile goal can be achieved without passion and perseverance. My parents always say that acquiring a quality education is the key that will open countless doors of opportunity for me in the future. That's why they have supported and encouraged my love of learning every step of the way. Their own educational journeys were cut short at a young age due to difficult circumstances, so they are absolutely determined to do everything possible to ensure my brother and I receive the education they could not. With their example to follow, I know that I have the inner strength and drive to pursue any dream I can conceive. I feel so blessed to live in a time and place where opportunities for growth are all around me if I commit to working hard and applying myself with dedication. My biggest dream is...well, I don't want to limit myself to just one dream!I dream of seeing the world, experiencing as many cultures and ways of life as possible. I dream of mastering multiple languages and using that skill to form connections across allboundaries. I dream of one day having a career, perhaps as a writer, artist or teacher, that allows me to be endlessly creative while enriching the lives of others. Most of all, I dream of growing into a compassionate individual who leaves a positive, lasting impact on this world we all share. I may only be one篇6Good morning everyone! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm a student in the 5th grade at Sunny Hills Elementary School. I'm so excited to be here today for the first round of the Hope Star English Speech Contest! To start off, I want to tell you a little bit about my family. I live with my mom, dad, and little brother Jake who is 7 years old. My mom is a nurse and my dad works in an office downtown. We also have a dog named Buddy who is a golden retriever. He's the funniest, most energetic dog you'll ever meet! Every morning he wakes me up by licking my face and I have to wrestle him off of me. I love playing fetch with him in the backyard after school.Speaking of school, that's one of my favorite things to talk about. I absolutely love learning and being at school with my friends. My best friends are Sarah and Olivia - we've been bestbuddies since kindergarten. We always have so much fun together at recess playing on the swings and monkey bars. Sometimes we also play hand games like Miss Mary Mack.My favorite subject in school is math because I'm really good at it and I find it super satisfying to solve problems. I especially love algebra and working with variables and equations. I'm not as strong in science, but I'm working on it! I do enjoy our science experiments though, like when we made volcanos out of baking soda and vinegar. That was so cool to watch them erupt!Art class is probably my favorite special subject. I love drawing, painting, anything creative like that. My dream is to become a artist when I grow up, or maybe an architect who designs buildings. Just anything where I can work with my hands and make beautiful things! My biggest artistic accomplishment so far was winning the schoolwide art contest last year with my self-portrait painting. In my free time, I have quite a few hobbies and interests. As I mentioned, I love art, so I spend a lot of time drawing, painting, doing crafts like making friendship bracelets. I'm a huge reader too - I must have read over 100 books this past year! My favorite authors are Rick Riordan who wrote the Percy Jackson series, and Roald Dahl who wrote classics like Matilda and Charlie and theChocolate Factory. That's my ultimate dream - to become an author myself one day and write magical adventure stories just like them!I'm also really into sports and staying active. My favorite sport is gymnastics - I'm on the competitive team at my gym and we travel all around the state for meets. I love performing on the different events like uneven bars, balance beam, and my best one - vault! I'm working on mastering my front handspring and hoping to qualify for state championships this year. When I'm not at the gym, I also enjoy swimming, riding my bike around the neighborhood, and playing basketball.Travel is another big interest of mine. My family tries to go on at least one big trip every summer. Two years ago, we went to California and saw the Golden Gate Bridge, rode the iconic cable cars in San Francisco, and went to Disneyland! That was a dream come true. Last summer we drove down the coast to Florida and I got to swim in the ocean, make sand castles on the beach, and go on airboat rides looking for alligators in the Everglades. It was such an adventure! This year, I'm hoping we'll get to go somewhere out west like the Grand Canyon or Yellowstone National Park with the famous geysers. Now I'll share one last fun fact about myself - I'm an only child, but I do have an "aunt" who is more like a sister to me. Her name is Sierra and she's my mom's best friend from college. We're only 7 years apart in age so we've always been like siblings. Sierra helped raise me as a baby when my parents were working, and now as I'm older, she's like the cool aunt I can confide anything in. She was the one who first encouraged me to enter this speech competition since she knows how much I love public speaking and performing. I'm so grateful to have her in my life as an awesome role model!Well, that's a glimpse into my world! Thank you all for listening. I'm honored to be part of this incredible opportunity with the Hope Star contest. I look forward to sharing more about my hopes and dreams in the later rounds. Until next time!。
