May cause central nervous system depression characterized by the followingprogressive steps: headache, dizziness, staggering gait, confusion, unconsciousness or coma. Significantoverexposure to n-butyl glycidyl ether by the inhalation route is unlikely under most ambient conditions due to its low volatility. However, vapors, aerosols, and mists may be formed during some applications such as heating orapplications of uncured material on large surface areas. Harmful if absorbed through skin. May be harmful ifswallowed. Ingestion is not an expected route of entry in industrial or commercial uses.Chronic: IARC has designated carbon black as Group 2B - inadequate evidence for carcinogenicity in humans, but sufficient evidence in experimental animals. In 2006 IARC reaffirmed its 1995 finding that there is "inadequateevidence" from human health studies to assess whether carbon black causes cancer in humans. Further, epidemiological evidence from well-conducted investigations has shown no causative link between carbon black exposure and the risk of malignant or non-malignant respiratory disease in humans.3. 德国拜耳TeXin-RXT50D医疗级TPU

德国拜耳TeXin-RXT50D医疗级TPUProduct Information TEXIN? RxT50DThermoplastic PolyurethaneAromatic Polyether-Based GradeDescription and ApplicationsTexin RxT50D resin is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion or blow molding. Texin RxT50D offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness and flexibility. It also exhibits excellent hydrolytic stability.Typical medical applications include anesthetic connectors, catheters, flexible tubing, film, seals and gaskets and extruded profiles.Medical ApplicationsBiocompatibility: Texin RxT50D resin meets the requirements of the FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1“Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices” tests with human tissue contact time of 30 days or less. Only products that meet these requirements may be considered candidates for applications requiring biocompatibility.Regrind must not be used in medical applications requiring biocompatibility.Manufacturer’s Responsibility: It is the responsibil-ity of the medical device, biological product or pharmaceutical manufacturer (“Manufacturer”) to determine the suitability of all component parts and raw materials, including Texin RxT50D resin, used in its final product in order to ensure safety and compli-ance with FDA requirements. This determination must include, as applicable, testing for suitability as an implant device and suitability as to contact with and/or storage of human tissueand liquids including, without limitation, medication, blood or other bodily fluids. Under no circumstances may Texin RxT50D resin be used in any cosmetic, reconstructive or reproductive implant applications. Nor may Texin RxT50D resin be used in any other bodily implant applications or any applications involving contact with or storage of human tissue, blood or other bodily fluids for greater than 30 days, based on FDA-modified ISO 10993, Part 1 “Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices” tests. Furthermore, for aromatic grades of Texin resins, such longer-term uses are not permissible because possible hydrolysis of solid polyurethane may produce aromatic amines, such as methylene dianiline (MDA).The suitability of a Bayer product in a given end-use environment is dependent upon various conditions including, without limitation, chemical compatibility, temperature, part design, sterilization method, re-sidual stresses and external loads. It is the responsi-bility of the Manufacturer to evaluate its final product under actual end-use requirements and to adequately advise and warn purchasers and users thereof.Single-use medical devices made from a Bayer product are not suitable for multiple uses. If the medical device is designed for multiple uses, it is the responsibility of the Manufacturer to determine the appropriate number of permissible uses by evaluating the device under actual sterilization and end-use conditions and to adequately advise and warn purchasers and users thereof.Sterilization: Parts molded or extruded from Texin RxT50D resin are sterilizable using ethylene oxide, radiation or dry heat. Parts made of Texin resins must not be sterilized using steam autoclaving or boiling water techniques. Furthermore, thesesteril-ization methods must not be used with aromatic grades of Texin resin because possible hydrolysis of solid polyurethane may produce aromatic amines, such as methylene dianiline (MDA).Page 1 of 3— Document contains important information and must be read in its entirety. The sterilization method and the number of steriliza-tion cycles a medical device made from TexinRxT50D resin can withstand will vary depending upon type/grade of product, part design, processing parameters, sterilization temperature and chemical environment. Therefore, the Manufacturer must evaluate each device to determine the sterilization method and the number of permissible sterilization cycles appropriate for actual end-use requirements and must adequately advise and warn purchasers and users thereof.Storage, Drying and Regrind UsageTexin thermoplastic polyurethane resins are hygro-scopic and will absorb ambient moisture. The resins should remain in their sealed containers and stored in a dry area. Storage temperatures should not exceed 86°F (30°C). Unused resin from opened containers, or reground material that is not to be used immedi-ately should also be stored in sealed containers under cool and dry conditions.Prior to processing, Texin RxT50D resin must be thoroughly dried for a minimum of 2 hours in a desiccant dehumidifying hopper dryer to a moisture content of less than 0.03%. Hopper inlet air tem-perature should be 200-220°F (93-104°C), the inlet air dew point should be 0°F (-20°C) or lower.Injection Molding, Extrusion and Blow Molding Conditions Typical starting conditions for injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding are noted below. It is recommended that initialprocessing is done at the lower end of the suggested temperature ranges and increased as necessary.
