• 2) 导语往往为全文的中心句（topic sentence），主要讲清what（事件）， when（时间），where（地点）和who（人物）；

In order to encourage the students to participate in social activities, our school organized a trip to Lanling Farm on July 10th.
When arriving there, we were given a warm welcome by the local people . Then the workers instructed us to plant vegetables and showed us how to do the weeding. In a large hall, a professor gave us a talk/speech/report on modern scientific farming. After that, we had a heated discussion with some specialists/experts about eco-agriculture to get a further understanding about green agriculture.
Unquestionably, not only did we learn what we can’t learn in class through this visit/activity, but it also enriched our school life. All in all, we all think/consider/regard it meaningful and necessary for us to take part in/join in such social activities.
